    Die meisten fanden eine vorübergehende Unterkunft in einem der Notlager in Belgrad. Wie es weitergeht, wissen viele nicht. Sie verloren alles und wurden manchmal noch Opfer von Kriminellen, die die Notlage ausnutzten und Wuchergeschäfte mit Lebensmitteln betrieben. Nach Angaben der Regierung wurden mehrere Verdächtige festgenommen.

    Haven't really posted an Enlightening Emaan Deed in ages, sorry for the inconsistency.

    I always rack my brain out, trying to figure out which hadith to pick, but this time, this was the first I came across so I figured I'd go with it.

    We live in a world of greed, jealousy and envy. We have people who are jealous of those who they claim to be the bestest of friends with.
    Others pretend to admire the people they envy. And all of this is based on greed. It's either greed for wealth, beauty or status. Overall it is greed for dunya.

    A key principle of Islam is that you are generous and love for others what you love for yourself.

    How can we expect our claims of love for others to be true, when we don't want them to have that which we want for ourselves?

    A little bit of sharing doesn't hurt. Rather it produces barakah.
    One should always share with a companion. In one hadith it is stated that if two people are eating, they should call a third person and a fourth person and so on and so forth.
    → When one eats on his own, shaytaan eats with him, hence one should never travel on his own because shaytaan is his companion during times of loneliness.

    Sharing not only increases barakah but love also. Wanting others to have what you have is a true sign of loyalty and sincerity.

    → By adapting this quality, not only can you achieve the pleasure of Allãh but you can be the owner of a content heart because there is no space within it for selfishness and greed.

    So next time you're put in a position to share or sacrifice something for a loved one, do it! Trust me it will increase that person's love for you.
