Antwort: Es ist nichts daran auszusetzen, ein Medikament zu nehmen, um sich selbst vor einer Krankheit zu schützen, wenn die Furcht besteht, dass eine Epidemie ausbricht oder andere Faktoren, die eine Krankheit auslösen könnten. Es ist nichts daran verkehrt, ein Medikament einzunehmen, um eine befürchtete Krankheit abzuwehren. Es wird authentisch berichtet, dass der Prophet (salla-llahu alayhi wa sallam) sagte: {من تصبح بسبع تمرات من تمر المدينة لم يضره سحر ولا سم.} „Jeder, der am Morgen sieben trockene Datteln von Madiinah isst, dem wird weder Sihr (Zauber) noch Gift einen Schaden anhaben können." [1] Dies ist eine Art des Abwehrens von Schaden, bevor er auftritt. Wenn daher die Furcht vor Krankheit besteht und eine Person wird gegen eine Infektion, die in dem Land oder woanders vorhanden ist, geimpft, dann ist daran nichts auszusetzen, weil es eine Art des Schutzes ist. So wie man eine Krankheit behandelt, die ausgebrochen ist, genauso behandelt man eine zu erwartende Krankheit mit Medikamenten. Es ist nicht erlaubt, Amulette {التمائم} aufzuhängen, um sich vor Krankheit, den Jinn oder dem bösen Blick (Al-'Ayn) zu schützen, weil der Prophet (salla-llahu alayhi wa sallam) dies verbot und erklärt hat, dass dies eine Art von kleinem Schirk (, der einen nicht aus dem Islam hinausbefördert) ist, weshalb dies vermieden werden muss.
