Dies bedeutet: Jemanden zum Ungläubigen erklären, während er noch Muslim ist. Takfir ist eine der Fragen, mit der sich nur die 'Ulama (Gelehrten) auseinandersetzen dürfen, weil dieses Thema sehr gefährlich ist. Wie ich jedoch anfangs erwähnte, befasst sich mit diesem Thema jeder. Jeder nimmt sich das Recht - ohne jegliche Eingrenzung, ohne jegliche Voraussetzung, ohne jegliche Regeln - eine andere Person zum Kafir zu erklären, und dass sie den Islam verlassen und mit ihm nichts mehr zu tun hat. Dies ist zugleich ein Merkmal unserer Zeit; man spricht über alle Angelegenheiten der Schari'a, ohne Regeln und ohne dabei die Worte der islamischen Gelehrten heranzuziehen. Daher ist das Sprechen über den takfir sehr gefährlich und die Vertiefung hierin, ohne selbst darüber Bescheid zu wissen, stellt eine große Sünde dar. Muhammad (Allahs Segen und Frieden auf ihme) sagte; "Wer zu seinem Bruder sagt 'o du Ungläubiger', dann ist einer von beiden ungläubig." Die 'Ulama sagen, dass der Kufr, den er seinem Bruder zuschreiben wollte, auf ihn zurückgefallen ist. Ein anderer Teil der Gelehrten, wie z. B. Hafidh Ibn Hadschar, sagt, dass die Weisheit, die sich hinter diesem Hadith verbirgt, jene ist, damit die Menschen von ähnlichem Vorhaben Abstand nehmen. Somit war es Ziel des Propheten Muhammad (Allahs Segen und Frieden auf ihm), diese Tat als verabscheuungswürdig darzustellen. Deswegen hat er diesen Ausdruck (einer von beiden ist ungläubig) benutzt.
