Es werde sogar an Stammtischen inzwischen über das Werk geredet - deshalb sollte man es auch mal vorstellen, begründet Deutschlandradio-Intendant Willi Steul das Projekt. Den -#Koran könne man nur verstehen, indem man ihn in seinen historisch-exegetischen Zusammenhang stelle. Susanne Fritz: Herr Steul, was war der Anlass für die neue Sendereihe "Koran erklärt"? Willi Steul: Diese Überlegung habe ich mit Kollegen schon lange im Kopf und da schien es mir doch jetzt einfach durch die aktuellen Einflüsse, durch das, was das so ist, dringlich zu sein, das ein bisschen vorzuziehen. Wissen Sie, sogar am Stammtisch wird mittlerweile über den Koran geredet. Da sollte man nicht über ihn reden, sondern auch mal vorstellen, was ist das eigentlich. Fritz: In den Sendungen werden Koran-Verse vorgestellt. Handelt es sich bei der jeweiligen Interpretation um wissenschaftliche oder um individuelle glaubensbezogene Auslegungen? Steul: Den Koran kann man nur verstehen, wenn man ihn in seinen historisch-exegetischen Zusammenhang stellt. Das ist ein sehr komplexes Werk und das kann man nicht ohne Erläuterung verstehen. Im Koran - wie in der Bibel auch - finden Sie großartige Aussagen zu "Der Schöpfer und der Mensch" und "Die Menschen untereinander, wie sich verhalten sollen", und Sie finden Aufrufe zur Gewalt. Nur #Islam-Experten können uns das erklären. Wissen Sie, die Salafisten, die hier so in Deutschland unterwegs sind, das sind alles Laien, das sind Menschen, die nehmen sich den Koran aus dem Zusammenhang, ohne ihn eigentlich richtig zu kennen. Die Hauptaufgabe, die Hauptaufgabe auch vom Deutschlandfunk und Deutschlandradio mit seinen Programmen, ist Aufklärung, zunächst einmal Information. Also erfahren, was es ist, dann kann man anschließend diskutieren. "Alle drei sind Islamwissenschaftler" Fritz: Wer wählt die Stellen im Koran aus, und was sind das für Experten? Steul: Wir haben begonnen, Kontakt aufzunehmen schon vor über eineinhalb Jahren. Wir haben diskutiert mit ausgewiesenen Islamexperten in Deutschland. Die Überlegung ist, dass wir mindestens drei brauchen, die auch Muslime sind, damit nicht der Vorwurf kommt, hier wird jetzt wieder über den Islam geredet. Das sind also auch Muslime. Alle drei sind Wissenschaftler, Islamwissenschaftler. Wir haben das jetzt auch erweitert, und wir werden - ich schätze insgesamt - mit wahrscheinlich sechs, sieben Islamwissenschaftlern diese Koranverse auslegen und interpretieren. Es ist ja auch nicht so, dass Sie den beliebig auslegen können, sondern es gibt unter den renommierten islamischen Theologen und den Islamwissenschaftlern große Übereinstimmungen über weiteste Teile des Korans. Fritz: Wer verantwortet die Sendung? Haben die islamischen Verbände in Deutschland Einfluss auf den Inhalt der Sendung? Steul: Nein, wir haben nicht einmal Islamverbände kontaktiert, sondern das ist eine originäre Überlegung, originäre journalistische Überlegung. Und selbstverständlich ist das unsere eigene Verantwortung. In Diskussionen mit den Autoren, die das erläutern, suchen wir dann auch die Koranverse aus. "Wir können ja kein religionswissenschaftliches Seminar veranstalten" Fritz: Inwiefern berücksichtigt die neue Sendung, dass es verschiedene Konfessionen und Richtungen innerhalb des Islams gibt, die sich in ihrer Lehre unterscheiden? Steul: Wir können ja kein religionswissenschaftliches Seminar veranstalten. Der Koran und die zentralen Aussagen des Korans, die auch etwas in unseren Augen und nicht nur in unseren Augen problematisch sind - nämlich zum Beispiel der Aufruf zur Gewalt, da gibt es keine konfessionellen Unterschiede. Die konfessionellen Unterschiede, zum Beispiel zwischen der Schia und der Sunna, das sind die zwei großen Strömungen, die drücken sich woanders aus. Sie sind übrigens weitestgehend, zumindest in der Entstehung, politischer Art. Es gibt dann verschiedene kleinere Denominationen im Islam. Das können Sie nicht alles berücksichtigen. Wie gesagt, das ist kein religionswissenschaftliches Seminar, sondern ein Angebot an unsere Hörer. Dies sind Suren aus dem Koran. Die werden von der großen Mehrzahl der Islamwissenschaftler, nicht den Sektierern, von der großen Mehrzahl der Islamwissenschaftler und islamischen Theologen folgendermaßen in den Kontext gestellt. Das ist das Ziel. Fritz: Gibt es bestimmte Hörer oder Hörerinnen, die Sie damit erreichen wollen? Steul: Nein. Wir haben ein anspruchsvolles Publikum. Wer uns hört, wer Deutschlandfunk hört, der ist an den Dingen dieser Welt mehr interessiert als der Durchschnitt. Und es kann auch eine Anregung sein, Leute kauft euch mal, eins, zwei, drei, vier, fünf Bücher, wenn euch das interessiert. Es ist eine Information. Lawful for you are the animals of grazing livestock except for that which is recited to you [in this Qur'an] - hunting not being permitted while you are in the state of ihram. Indeed, Allah ordains what He intends." (Al-Ma'idah: 1) O you who have believed, fulfill all the contracts between you and Allah and the permissible contracts between you and #people. (Ibn Abbas said: The contracts in this verse are the covenants which Allah obligates his servants to fulfill, i.e. to commit to what He permits and what he prohibits and to commit to the commands and prohibitions in the Qur'an as a whole without excuses or violations). Almighty Allah commands believers in this verse to fulfill their contracts and commitments whether these contracts are in word or deed as He has ordained. They have to commit to them unless these contracts deny the permissible or permit the forbidden such as Riba (usury) contracts or unjustly eating the money of people (such as bribes or gambling). Then, Almighty Allah details the rulings that He has ordained. Allah says that He has made lawful for the people to eat the animals of grazing livestock (such as cattle, camels, goats, sheep, deer, antelopes etc). They are lawful for eating except what is recited on you (in the Qur'an) as unlawful in some cases as Almighty Allah says: "Prohibited to you are dead animals, #blood, the flesh of swine…" (Al-Ma'idah: 3) It is not permitted for them to hunt land animals while they are in the state of ihram to do Hajj or Umrah. Almighty Allah, Exalted and Sublime Be He, decrees upon His servants what is permissible and what is prohibited according to interests and rulings that only Allah knows.
