- Abu Bilal - Social Mention: :::::::Hadhrat Bilal (Radhiyallaho anho) and his Sufferings::::::: Hadhrat Bilal (Radhiyallaho anho) is one of the best known of the galaxy of Sahabah as moazzin of the Prophet's (Sallallaho alaihe wasallam) masjid. He was an Abyssinian slave of a disbeliever in Mecca. His conversion to Islam was, naturally, not liked by his master and he was, therefore, persecuted mercilessly. Ummay ah bin Khalaf , who was the worst enemy of Islam, would make him lie down on the burning sand at midday and would place a heavy stone on his breast, so that he could not even move a limb. He would then say to him: "Renounce Islam or swelter and die." Even under these afflictions, Bilal (Radhiyallaho anho) would exclaim:- "Ahad"-The One (Allah). "Ahad"-The One (Allah). He was whipped at night and with the cuts thus received, made to lie on the burning ground during the day to make him either forsake Islam or to die a lingering death from wounds. The torturers would get tired and take turns (Abu Jahl, Umayyah and others) and vie with one another in afflicting more and more painful punishment, but Hadhrat Bilal (Radhiyallaho anho) would not yield. At last Abu Bakr (Radhiyallaho anho) bought his freedom, and he became a free Muslim. As Islam taught implicitly the oneness of the Almighty Creator, ,while the idolaters of Mecca believed in many gods and goddesses with minor god lings, therefore Bilal (Radhiyallaho anho) repeated: "Ahad (The One), Ahad (The One)." This shows his love and devotion to Allah. Allah was so dear to him that no amount of persecution could distract him from reciting His Holy name. It is said that the urchins of Mecca would drag him in the streets, with his words "Ahad!, Ahad!" ringing in their wake. Look how Allah rewarded his steadfastness! He was to have the honour of becoming the Prophet's moazzin. He was always to remain with him at home and abroad to call out the Azabn for his Salaat. After the Prophet's death it became very1 hard for him to continue his stay in Madinah where he would miss him at every step and in every corner. He therefore left Madinah, and decided to pass the rest of his life striving in the path of Allah. Once he beheld the Prophet (Sallallaho alaihe wasallam) in his dream saying to him: "0B,i lal! How irs it that you never visit me." No sooner did he get up than he set out for Madinah. On reaching there, Hadhrat Hasan and Hadhrat Husain (Radhiyallaho anhuma) (The Prophet's (Sallallaho alaihe wasallam) grandsons) requested him to call out the Azaan. He could not refuse them, for they were very dear to him. But as soon as the Azaan was called, the people of Madinah cried openly out of their anguish at the memory of the happy old days of the Prophet's (Sallallaho alaihe wasallam) time. Even the women came out of their houses weeping. Hadhrat Bilal (Radhiyallaho anho) Ieft Madinah again after a few days and died in Damascus in 20 A.H. It was the second major refinery purchase in a week by Dangote, who is a major financier of the ruling party and ally of outgoing President Olusegun Obasanjo, after he bought the largest refinery in Port Harcourt on May 17." The global news agency was obviously passing a message to Nigerians, but as we are now, so we were then, too obstinate to notice and too meek to react. Reuters further precipitated: "In the weeks leading up to Obasanjo's departure, Dangote's privately held company has also scooped up a cement plant, a telecoms licence and mining concessions in a rush of privatisations that has triggered accusations of cronyism by opposition parties." We remember that at the time, it was reported that Dangote gave Obasanjo a $35 million thank you convenience Jet for the many pieces of Nigeria the fresh-made trillionaire, Obasanjo put in his ward. Perhaps we should not even refer to them as "Nigeria's" refineries. The way this democratic government sits on and steals the money and sells everything at will, without regard for the people of Nigeria, one thinks, perhaps it is actually theirs; her refinery. Diezani is set to sell her refinery next four months, after she refurbishes her thing. Now, here is the second most fascinating aspect of this news. She is spending trillions of Nigeria's, or rather, "her" money to refurbish it first, before selling, as she announced Yesterday. Why refurbish before selling? Why not sell to them as is for them to fix it? Well, how about we refresh our memory on how these things work. Backtrack to the sale of the PHCN to the Transcorp boys, this September. DailyTrust headlined it: "Power firms sold for N404bn after gulping N3.2tr." So they refurbish "their" thing, with trillions of "their" money, and then sell them to themselves, via their coterie of friends on the outside for one-tenth of the worth, and then they will provide us the mekunu's (paupers) the service for triple the global rates. This is not advanced fraud, no. This is simple everyday governance in the world's most powerful Kleptocratic republic; in history. There is not much to say about this news. Nigerian masses are sheep, and our military are mice. Of blessed memory are the Ojukwu's, the Murtala's, the Fela's, and the Nzeogwu's. Regard them or dispute their causes, these men stood up for what they believed, suffered for their beliefs and some were killed for their causes. 7 Bukti Kebenaran Agama Islam yang Mutlak Islam adalah satu-satunya agama yang haq yang datang dari Robb Penguasa Alam Semesta, agama Tauhid (peng Esaan Allah) yang juga telah diturunkan kepada seluruh Nabi dan Rasul. Dan akan menjadi satu-satunya jalan menuju keselamatan di dunia hingga akhirat kelak. Terdapat tujuh kebenaran dan kenyataan mutlak yang dimiliki oleh Islam, yang tidak dapat dibantah oleh siapapun, tidak dapat dibantah oleh sejarah, Ilmu Pengetahuan, dan ia tidak terpengaruh oleh situasi dan kondisi, oleh iklim dan masa. Inilah Bukti kebenaran Islam yang tak terbantahkan 1. Qur'an dengan bahasanya yang tetap sepanjang masa. Ia akan dimengerti di Amerika, demikian juga di Inggris. Bila ia dibacakan di Jepang, maka ia juga dipahami oleh orang-orang India dan Pakistan, dan bila ia dibaca di negeri Belanda, maka Mesir, Libya, Indonesia akan mengerti, setidak-tidaknya mengenali bahwa itulah ayat-ayat Al Qur'an. Qur'an tidak pernah dirubah bahasanya dan ini saja sudah dapat dijadikan pegangan, bahwa isinya authentik asli. Beda dengan Injil yang telah melalui sedemikian banyak terjemahan, sehingga keaslian kata-kata mungkin telah menyimpang dari maksud semula. Ia disalin dari bahasa Ibrani ke bahasa Gerika, lalu ke bahasa Latin, dari Latin oleh Marthen Luther pada tahun 1521 disalin ke bahasa Jerman. Dari Jerman disalin pula ke dalam bahasa Inggris, Belanda, Indonesia, Jawa, Minang, Timor dst. Sambil menyalin, maka atas pertimbangan politik, sipenyalin menterjemahkannya pula menurut "situasi dan kondisi" setempat. Kita lihat misalnya, kalau didalam Injil bahasa Belanda dan Inggris syarat masuk surga adalah Door bidden en fasten atau by praying and fasting, maka didalam Injil bahasa Indonesia mereka mencukupkan hanya dengan doa, sedangkan fasting atau fasten atau puasanya dihilangkan. 2. Al-Qur'an tidak bertentangan dengan Ilmu pengetahuan. Bacalah theorie La Place & Chamberlin, bacalah theorie kejadian bumi, maka Chamberlin menyebutkan: Bahwa bumi kita ini ialah terjadi dari gumpalan-gumpalan kabut yang bergulung-gulung semakin lama semakin padat, sehingga berpijar, dan kemudian mati pijarnya, lalu tumbuhlah kehidupan. Lalu cobalah kita buka Al-Qur'an surat tertulislah disana theorie itu: "Dan ingatlah ketika Aku menciptakan bumi ini dari suatu hamparan yang lalu bergulung-gulung." Qur'an surat Nuh 14 menulis tentang adanya tingkatan-tingkatan kejadian dari manusia, surat Al An'am 97 memuat theorie Astronomi. Dalam surat-surat yang lain dimuat pula theorie perkawinan tanam-tanaman (botani). Qur'an tidak serupa dengan Perjanjian Lama yang menolak theorie Galileo Galilei, Islam tidak seperti Kristen yang telah begitu banyaknya membunuhi kaum cerdik pandai seperti Galileo Galilei, Johannis Heuss dan sebagainya. 3. Al-Qur'an tidak menentang fitrah manusia. Itulah sebabnya didalam Islam tidak diakuinya hukum Calibat atau pembujangan. Manusia dibuat laki-laki dan perempuan adalah untuk kawin, untuk mengembangkan keturunan. Maka itu ajaran Paulus yang mengatakan bahwa ada "lebih baik" laki-laki itu membujang seperti aku dan perempuan itu tidak kawin, ditentang oleh Islam. Bukankah monogami akhirnya melibatkan dunia Kristen dalam lembah pelacuran? Bukankah orang-orang Italia yang monogami itu akhirnya mempunyai juga istri-istri yang gelap? Dan bukankah Amerika, Swedia dll. akhirnya menjadi bejat akhlaknya sebab mempertahankan monogami? Maka dunia akhirnya menetapkan: Poligami adalah bijaksana. Poligami mencegah manusia daripada zinah dan pelacuran. Tidak heran bila surat An Nisa ayat 3 kemudian membolehkan orang untuk Poligami, yaitu poligami yang terbatas: 4. 4. Qur'an tidak bertentangan dengan aqal dan fikiran manusia. Itulah sebabnya Islam sangat menghargai akal dan fikiran yang sehat. Kaidah Islam tidak dapat menerima doktrin "Tiga tetapi satu," sebab tiga tetapi satu bertentangan dengan ratio. Ummat Islam sama sekali tidak dapat memahami bagaimana Paus, seorang manusia, dapat menjabat Wakil Tuhan (Ficarius Filii Dei). Paus mewakili urusan Allah untuk dunia ini, memberikan amnesti, abolisi dan grasi atas ummat manusia yang berdosa dengan mandaat sepenuhnya dari Allah. Demikian pula, kalau kami yang tidak tahu menahu akan perbuatan Adam harus memikul dosa Adam. Dan akal lebih tidak bisa menerima lagi, kalau Allah yang pengasih penyayang itu akhirnya lalu menghukum mati anaknya sendiri demi menebus dosa Adam dan anak cucu Adam. Maka itulah Islam tidak mengakui dosa keturunan, juga tidak mengakui adanya "Sakramen pengakuan dosa" yang memanjakan manusia dan mengajar manusia untuk tidak bertanggung jawab itu. 5. Islam tidak bertentangan dengan sejarah. Islampun dengan sendirinya tidak mendustai sejarah. Putih hitamnya sejarah Islam, diakuinya dengan jujur. Ia, misalkan mengalami tragedi pahit seperti "Night of St. Bartolomeus" pastilah ia mengakui, dan ummatnya mengetahui. Islam selalu sesuai dengan situasi d.an kondisi, ia bukannya menyesuaikan diri, tetapi diri (dunia maksudnya) yang harus menyesuaikan dengannya 6. Oleh sebab itulah maka Islam tetap bertahan. Ia selalu maju seirama dengan kemajuannya zaman. Empat belas abad sudah lamanya Islam tetap dalam suatu kesatuan syareat dan hakekat. Seribu empat ratus tahun lamanya hukum-hukumnya, undang-undangnya, shalat dan kiblatnya, puasa dan hajinya tetap berjalan. Ia tidak ambruk setelah ilmu pengetahuan lebih maju, ia juga tidak colaps menghadapi kebangkitan humanisme dan sosialisme. Adapun atau kalaupun dikatakan mundur, sebenarnya ialah oknum artinya orang-orangnya apakah itu person atau kelompok. Mengapakah ummatnya mundur? Sebab ia telah meninggalkan Qur'annya. Ia berbeda dengan ajaran atau hukum gereja Katolik yang selalu berubah-ubah boleh – tidak boleh dan sekarang boleh lagi kawin. Padahal soal kawin adalah soal keputusan Tuhan. Adalah keputusan Tuhan selalu berubah-ubah dan dapat ditentang oleh manusia? 7. Qur'an tak dapat disangkal lagi, adalah pegangan hidup dan mati, dunia dan akhirat. Qur'an ternyata merupakan landasan idiil dan spirituil, landasan hidup di dunia dan di akhirat. Qur'an, tidak hanya memuat perkara akhirat saja, tetapi juga perkara dunia. Itulah sebabnya bila kita membaca Al-Qur'an kita akan menemui bermacam-macam hukum, apakah itu hukum pidana, perdata, atau hukum antar manusia dan kemasyarakatan. Demikian pula ia memuat hukum dengan lengkapnya hukum perkawinan dan sopan santun perang.

Jawab: Para sahabat, seorang pun dari mereka tidak dikhususkan dengan sebutan tertentu. Para sahabat itu semuanya karramallahu wajhah (semoga Allah memuliakan wajahnya) dan semuanya radhiallahu'anhu (semoga Allah meridhainya). Pengkhususan yang demikian adalah kebiasaan orang Syi'ah. Mereka mengatakan: "Ali karramallahu wajhah" atau "Ali 'alaihis salam". Adapun sebutan Al Faruq bagi Umar bin Khathab adalah laqb (julukan) dan kun-yah beliau adalah Abu Hafsh. Adpun Ali bin Abi Thalib laqb-nya adalah Abu Turab dan kun-yah beliau adalah Abul Hasan. Sebutan Syaikhul Islam bagi Ibnu Taimiyah merupakan sifat bagi beliau, dan ini tidak bertentangan dengan keadaan beliau dan tidak masalah. Adapun pengkhususan yang dilakukan orang Syi'ah dengan menyebut Ali karramallahu wajhah atau Ali 'alaihis salam ini semua tidak ada asalnya. Abu Bilal - Social Mention
:::::::Hadhrat Bilal (Radhiyallaho anho) and his Sufferings::::::: Hadhrat Bilal (Radhiyallaho anho) is one of the best known of the galaxy of Sahabah as moazzin of the Prophet's (Sallallaho alaihe wasallam) masjid. He was an Abyssinian slave of a disbeliever in Mecca. His conversion to Islam was, naturally, not liked by his master and he was, therefore, persecuted mercilessly. Ummay ah bin Khalaf , who was the worst enemy of Islam, would make him lie down on the burning sand at midday and would place a heavy stone on his breast, so that he could not even move a limb. He would then say to him: "Renounce Islam or swelter and die." Even under these afflictions, Bilal (Radhiyallaho anho) would exclaim:- "Ahad"-The One (Allah). "Ahad"-The One (Allah). He was whipped at night and with the cuts thus received, made to lie on the burning ground during the day to make him either forsake Islam or to die a lingering death from wounds. The torturers would get tired and take turns (Abu Jahl, Umayyah and others) and vie with one another in afflicting more and more painful punishment, but Hadhrat Bilal (Radhiyallaho anho) would not yield. At last Abu Bakr (Radhiyallaho anho) bought his freedom, and he became a free Muslim. As Islam taught implicitly the oneness of the Almighty Creator, ,while the idolaters of Mecca believed in many gods and goddesses with minor god lings, therefore Bilal (Radhiyallaho anho) repeated: "Ahad (The One), Ahad (The One)." This shows his love and devotion to Allah. Allah was so dear to him that no amount of persecution could distract him from reciting His Holy name. It is said that the urchins of Mecca would drag him in the streets, with his words "Ahad!, Ahad!" ringing in their wake. Look how Allah rewarded his steadfastness! He was to have the honour of becoming the Prophet's moazzin. He was always to remain with him at home and abroad to call out the Azabn for his Salaat. After the Prophet's death it became very1 hard for him to continue his stay in Madinah where he would miss him at every step and in every corner. He therefore left Madinah, and decided to pass the rest of his life striving in the path of Allah. Once he beheld the Prophet (Sallallaho alaihe wasallam) in his dream saying to him: "0B,i lal! How irs it that you never visit me." No sooner did he get up than he set out for Madinah. On reaching there, Hadhrat Hasan and Hadhrat Husain (Radhiyallaho anhuma) (The Prophet's (Sallallaho alaihe wasallam) grandsons) requested him to call out the Azaan. He could not refuse them, for they were very dear to him. But as soon as the Azaan was called, the people of Madinah cried openly out of their anguish at the memory of the happy old days of the Prophet's (Sallallaho alaihe wasallam) time. Even the women came out of their houses weeping. Hadhrat Bilal (Radhiyallaho anho) Ieft Madinah again after a few days and died in Damascus in 20 A.H. Reuters put it candidly for us then: "Obasanjo ally buys second Nigerian oil refinery" (Reuters) – "Nigerian tycoon Aliko Dangote has acquired a controlling stake in Nigeria's third- largest refinery in Kaduna for an undisclosed sum, consolidating his grip on the OPEC member nation's refining sector. It was the second major refinery purchase in a week by Dangote, who is a major financier of the ruling party and ally of outgoing President Olusegun Obasanjo, after he bought the largest refinery in Port Harcourt on May 17." The global news agency was obviously passing a message to Nigerians, but as we are now, so we were then, too obstinate to notice and too meek to react. So they refurbish "their" thing, with trillions of "their" money, and then sell them to themselves, via their coterie of friends on the outside for one-tenth of the worth, and then they will provide us the mekunu's (paupers) the service for triple the global rates. This is not advanced fraud, no. This is simple everyday governance in the world's most powerful Kleptocratic republic; in history. There is not much to say about this news.
