    Abū Sa'īd Al-Ḫudryy berichtete, dass er den Gesandten Allāhs, Allāhs,Segen und Friede auf ihm, folgendes sagen hörte: "Wenn einer zum Islam kommt und seinen Islam gut lebt, dem wird Allāh jede schlechte Tat tilgen, die er einst begangen hatte. Danach gilt nur die Abrechnung: Jede gute Tat wird (zur Belohnung) zehnfach bis siebenhundertfach bewertet, und eine schlechte Tat wird als solche nur einfach bewertet, es sei denn, dass Allāh (von der Bestrafung) absieht." (Al-Bukhariy)

    ✦ Türkçe: (Ey insanoglu!) sana gelen her iyilik Allah'tandir, sana ne kötülük dokunursa kendindendir. Ey Muhammed! Biz seni bütün insanlara bir elçi olarak gönderdik. Buna sahit olarak da Allah yeter.

    ✦ Deutsch: Was dir Gutes geschieht, kommt von Allah und was dir Schlimmes geschieht, kommt von dir selbst (wegen deiner Taten). Wir haben dich als Gesandten zu den Menschen geschickt. Dir genügt Allah als Zeuge, ist Er doch der absolut Beste.

    ✦ Türkçe:

    Ebû Hureyre (r.a.)'den; Resûlullah (s.a.)'ın şöyle buyurduğu rivayet edilmiştir: "Sizden biriniz uyuduğu vakit şeytan, onun ense köküne üç düğüm vurur; her düğümün bulunduğu yere; "Haydi uyu, gecen uzun ola!" (diyerek) vurur. Eğer o kimse uykudan uyandığı vakit ALLAH'ı zikrederse bir düğüm çözülür. Abdest alırsa bir düğüm daha çözülür. Namaz kılacak olursa bir düğüm daha çözülür ve gönlü rahat olarak sabahlar. Yoksa pis ve tenbel olarak sabahlar."

    ✦ English:

    Narrated Ebû Hureyre (r.a.): The Prophet (pbuh) said; "During your sleep, Satan knots three knots at the back of the head of each of you, and he breathes the following words at each knot, 'The night is, long, so keep on sleeping,' If that person wakes up and celebrates the praises of Allah, then one knot is undone, and when he performs ablution the second knot is undone, and when he prays, all the knots are undone, and he gets up in the morning in peace, otherwise he gets up dull and gloomy."

    ✦ Deutsch:

    Ebû Hureyre (Allahs Wohlgefallen auf ihm) berichtete: Der Gesandte Allahs (Allahs Segen und Friede auf ihm) sagte: "Wenn einer von euch schläft, bindet Satan über seinem Nacken drei Knoten, indem er jeden Knoten mit den Worten schließt: 'Dir steht eine lange Nacht bevor, so versinke im Schlaf.' Wenn er aber aufsteht und Allahs gedenkt, so löst sich ein Knoten; wenn er sich für das Gebet wäscht, löst sich ein weiterer Knoten; und wenn er betet, löst sich noch ein Knoten. Morgens fühlt er sich voller Kraft und glückselig, anderenfalls fühlt er sich missbehaglich und faul."

    Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) has taught us that we should fill our stomachs with 1/3 of food, 1/3 of drink and leave 1/3 for breath.

    Prophet (pbuh) said: "No human ever filled a vessel worse than the stomach. Sufficient for any son of Adam are some morsels to keep his back straight. But if it must be, then one third for his food, one third for his drink and one third for his breath."
