    Ich hatte all' die Hollywood Filme gesehen in dem die Amerikaner die guten waren und den schwachen halfen. Was ich dann gesehen hatte war Völlig was anderes...

    Der Deutsch-Türke Murat Kurnaz war fünf Jahre lang unschuldig ein Gefangener der Vereinigten Staaten im Kampf gegen den Terror. All diese Jahre lang hatte man Kurnaz in Afghanistan und in Guantanamo auf Kuba inhaftiert, er wurde gequält und gefoltert und unter menschenunwürdigen Bedingungen gefangengehalten - nur aufgrund der Tatsache, dass er sich als junger Mensch dem Islam zuwandte und nach den Terroranschlägen vom 11.
