    KEHEBATAN SAHABAT RASULULLAH S.A.W KHALID AL WALID, siapa yang tidak kenal? Panglima Tentera Islam sangat digeruni dan disegani musuh-musuh Islam ketika itu. Sangat mahir dengan strategi peperangan. Andai memimpin Tentera Islam, dengan izin Allah, kemenangan pasti berpihak pada mereka. Dalam satu peperangan pada zaman Sayyidina Umar Al Khattab dilantik menjadi Khalifah, perkara pertama yang dilakukan oleh Sayyidina Umar Al Khattab ketika peperangan tersebut ialah melucutkan jawatan Khalid Al Walid. Khalid Al Walid hanya tersenyum, terus menanggalkan serban yang melambangkan Panglima Islam dan menyerahkannya pada Abu Ubaidah. Sebahagian Tentera Muslim yang lain seakan tidak berpuas hati dengan keputusan Umar. "Siapa Umar untuk melanggar keputusan Rasullah S.A.W dengan melucutkan jawatan Khalid Al Walid? Siapa Umar untuk melucutkan jawatan Panglima Khalid walau dalam pemerintahan Abu Bakar? Siapa dia?" kata ahli Tentera Muslim yang tidak berpuas hati. Khalid Al Walid masih tersenyum.. "Apakah ada beza aku Panglima dengan aku tentera biasa? Bukankah pedang aku ini masih boleh membunuh musuh kuffar? Sekiranya kalian beriman dengan Allah, maka patuhilah arahan pemimpin." tenang sahaja beliau menjawab. Mendengar kata-kata Khalid Al Walid, Tentera Islam mendiamkan diri. Tapi hati masih penuh dengan rasa kurang berpuas hati. Lantaran ketidakpuasan hati, perkara tersebut telah menimbulkan fitnah di kalangan ummat Islam. Sayyidina Umar hanya buat tidak tahu pada awalnya. Tetapi apabila fitnah semakin panas, Umar pun berkata, "Aku melucutkan jawatan Khalid Al Walid kerana aku khuatir kamu akan berlaku syirik." Mereka bertanya, "Kenapa pula kami boleh berlaku syirik jika dipimpin Khalid Al Walid?" Lantas jawab Sayyidina Umar, "Kerana aku takut kalian mengatakan kemenangan Tentera Islam adalah kerana pimpinannya, bukan kerana bantuan Allah." [Sejak peristiwa ini, Sayyidina Umar digelar Tobibul Qulub] Ketika Khalid sedang uzur, Sayyidina Umar datang kepadanya. "Khalid Saifullah [pedang Allah], aku sesekali tidak pernah berdendam denganmu, jauh sekali dari hatiku untuk menjatuhkan kedudukanmu. Aku turunkan jawatanmu semasa kamu menjadi panglima perang bukan sebab aku cemburu denganmu wahai sahabat, tetapi engkau tidak tahu, tatkala engkau keluar berperang sebagai panglima perang, penduduk Madinah telah tersenyum gembira dan ada diantara mereka seakan-akan mengagungkanmu, jika engkau pimpin pasti kemenangan milik Islam, kata sesetengah dari mereka. Aku tidak ingin engkau menjadi sebab mereka syirik kepada Allah lalu aku turunkan jawatanmu wahai sahabat," ujar Sayyidina Umar Al Khattab, mereka yang terdengar ucapan ini terus menangis. Suatu ketika, seorang sahabat datang kepadanya. Walaupun dalam keadaan yang tersangat uzur, dia bingkas bangun dan membuka bajunya, "Wahai Sahabat, perhatikan badanku, adakah ada tempat yang tiada parut?" "Tiada wahai Khalid," jawab sahabat tersebut. "Jadi, bagaimanakah aku tidak bersedih? Kenapa Allah tidak menerima ku sebagai salah seorang Syuhada'nya? Adakah taubat ku dulu tidak diterima?" soal Khalid Al Walid. Mendengar keluhan Khalid itu, sahabat itu terus menangis dan kemudian dia berkata, "Kau tidak boleh syahid, Khalid. Kau telah dilantik sebagai Pedang Allah oleh Rasulullah dan Pedang Allah tidak boleh patah di medan perang." Kata-kata sahabat itu benar-benar menggembirakan hati Khalid Al Walid, dia tidak menyesal lagi dan akhirnya dia menghembuskan nafasnya yang terakhir dengan perasaan gembira dan redha terhadap ketentuan Illahi. # Ya, Khalid Al Walid tidak syahid disebabkan kata-kata yang keluar dari mulut Rasulullah S.A.W. Rasulullah telah berjanji apa-apa perang yang disertai oleh Khalid, pasti Islam akan menang, jadi jika Khalid syahid di medan perang, bagaimana Islam akan menang? Bagaimana mungkin Pedang Allah boleh patah di medan perang? Percayalah, apa yang keluar dari mulut Rasulullah walaupun sekecil-kecil perkara akan jadi kenyataan. # Lihat bagaimana tegasnya Sayyidina Umar Al Khattab ketika itu menjaga Akidah ummat Islam dari berlaku syirik pada Allah.

    Derjenige, der die Ohrfeige bekommen hatte, wäre ertrunken, wenn sein Freund ihn nicht gerettet hätte. Als er sich erholt hatte, schrieb er auf einen

Jedoch wenn jemand etwas Gutes für uns tut, müssen wir es in den Stein einprägen damit kein Wind es radieren kann'.     We pray for better things for ourselves but we should always pray for better for others too. Example "ya Allah grant me a better job" or "ya Allah grant me a pious wife."

    We need to pray for the whole ummah like we pray ourselves. It's a sign of faith when you wish for your brother/sister (in faith) what you wish for yourself. Look at what's happening to the Muslims in Africa... May Allah give them strength and grant them victory. Ameen
