Understanding the Correct Political Vision of the Khilafah
POINT 2:
The Khilafah will heal ethnic and sectarian tensions. Despite their differences, the history of the Islamic lands that are now at the heart of so much tension shows that what we are seeing today – serious sectarian violence for example between sunni on shia – is almost without precedent. The scale and nature of the conflict we see before us is recent – a fact not only evident to Muslims. The late academic Professor Fred Haliday observed that "actual and direct conflict between Sunni and Shi'a (as distinct from suspicion and communal difference) has until recently been remarkable by its absence".
The Islamic state is non-sectarian and does not belong to any particular madhab or legal position but to all Muslims. There is a deliberate attempt by media commentators and politicians to frame a sectarian conflict in the Muslim world but the picture is more mixed than the often dichotomous portrayal. The as-Sham region is rife with examples of a long-standing mixed population; Lebanon has 362,000 families who have one sunni and one shia parent, in a country whose population is only 4 million. Shortly after the US invasion, Iraq saw joint action by sunni and shia, from joint Friday prayers, conferences and regular calls for co-operation; rallies saw demonstrators chanting "No Shia, No Sunni!"
Furthermore, Islam alone has proven the only force capable of unifying Arabs, Kurds, Turkomens and others. It has a long track record of ruling disparate communities, ethnicities, regions and religions with success, bringing stability to previously war-ravaged territories, engaging populations and earning strong loyalties from the communities and religions it governed. Even non-Muslims, Christians and Jews, fought under the banner of the Islamic Khilafah whose justice they believed in regardless of religious affiliation. T. W. Arnold, in his book "The Preaching of Islam," wrote about inter-ethnic relations and the treatment of non-Muslims who lived under the Ottoman Khilafah: "though the Greeks were numerically superior to the Turks in all the European provinces of the empire, the religious toleration thus granted them, and the protection of life and property they enjoyed, soon reconciled them to prefer the domination of the Sultan to that of any Christian power.[i]" Not only is the Khilafah a state for all ethnicities, but also its leadership is not restricted to Arab, Kurd, Turk or other. The Khilafah would readily heal the wounds of ethnic hurt because it is blind to the racial distinctions of ethnicity.

Dies ist eine wahre Geschichte über eine muslimische Schwester, deren Leben durch einen Quran-Vers gekennzeichnet wurde: ..."Und ich bin Deines Wohlgefallens wegen zu Dir geeilt." (Sure Ta-Ha [20], 84)
Öfter sagte sie: „Wenn ich den Adhan (Gebetsruf) höre und mit etwas beschäftigt bin, erinnere ich mich an diese Ayat (Vers). Sofort lasse ich alles (stehen) und bete das Gebet! Wenn mich der Alarm (Wecker) um 2 Uhr am Morgen weckt und ich weiterschlafen will, erinnere ich mich an diese Ayat (Vers): "...Und ich bin Deines Wohlgefallens wegen zu Dir geeilt." und so stehe ich auf.
Sie und ihr Ehemann hatten eine Abmachung: Auf dem Nachhauseweg würde er sie anrufen, damit sie rechtzeitig das Abendessen kocht, so das er, wenn er nach Hause kommt, essen uns ins Bett gehen kann.
Eines Tages hat der Ehemann sie gebeten, das sie Sarma (Rouladen) machen soll. Die, wenn man sie macht, genug (reichlich) Zeit einnimmt.
Ihr sind noch 3 (Kohlen)-Blätter übrig geblieben, um die Essens-Vorbereitungen zu erledigen.
So hörte sie den Adhan (Gebetsruf)...
Sie lies die restlichen (Kohlen)-Blätter stehen (für die gesamte Vorbereitung hätte sie nur 5 Minuten gebraucht), und sie ging beten. Der Ehemann hat sie angerufen, doch sie hat sich nicht mehr gemeldet.
Als er nach Hause kam, sah er sie im Sujud (der Niederwerfung) und das Essen war noch nicht vorbereitet.
Er bemerkte, dass nur 3 (Kohlen)-Blätter übrig geblieben sind. Er regte sich auf und sagte: "Du hättest die Essens-Vorbereitung erledigen können, und dann beten!"
Es gab keine Antwort...
Als er sich ihr näherte, bemerkte er, dass sie im Sujud (der Niederwerfung) gestorben ist...

Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah orders 'all necessary measures' to protect kingdom against potential 'terrorist threats' due to regional tension. The ISIL has recently announced the establishment of what it considers an Islamic "caliphate," or state, which it says will extend from Aleppo in northern Syria to Diyala in Iraq.Dr. Saad (Saudi Cleric) & Adnani also declared the terrorist group's leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi as "the caliph" and "leader of Muslims everywhere." Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah has appointed Prince Khaled bin Bandar as head of intelligence three months after his predecessor, who was in charge of efforts to support armed terrorist groups in Syria, was sacked. 2) Fearing ISIL threat, Jordan asks for help Amman has asked for international support fearing that the brutal militancy that has been raging in neighboring Iraq and Syria may spill over to Jordan. "It is important that the international community continue to support Jordan to deal with challenges and developments in the region," a palace statement quoted King Abdullah II as saying on Monday. Amman fears that the offensive spearheaded by militants from the so-called Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) in Iraq might spread to Jordan. Umar (ra.) unterzeichnete den Friedensvertrag, der wie folgt lautete:
Von Umar, dem Diener Allahs und Führer der Gläubigen: Den Bewohnern von Jerusalem wird die Sicherheit ihres Lebens und Eigentums gewährleistet. Ihre Kirchen und Kreuze bleiben unversehrt. Ihre religiösen Stätten sollen intakt bleiben, sie sollen weder besetzt noch niedergerissen werden. Das Volk soll in seiner Religionsausübung vollkommen frei und keiner Belästigung ausgesetzt sein..."
Umar (ra.) ging direkt zum Al-Masgid Al-Aqsa. Danach besuchte er die größte christliche Kirche der Stadt. Als es Zeit zum Nachmittagsgebet war, befand er sich gerade in der Kirche.
'Wenn du willst, darfst du in der Kirche beten", sagte der Bischof.
''Nein", antwortete Umar; "denn wenn ich es täte, wäre es vielleicht eines Tages ein Vorwand für die Muslime, euch die Kirche abzunehmen."
So betete er auf den Stufen vor der Kirche. Er gab dem Bischof auch ein Schreiben, in dem stand, daß die Stufen niemals für gemeinsame Gebete benutzt und daß auch der Adan dort nicht gesprochen werden.

O Allah give me, in this month, a very large share from Thy boundless mercy, let me keep to the right way that leads on to Thy evident clear Signs (Muhammad and Aali Muhammad), and for the sake of Thy love and kindness direct my behaviour, from every angle, unto that which pleases Thee, O the Ultimate Hope of those who eagerly desire fulfillment.
Ya Allah, limpahkanlah kepadaku di bulan ini sebagian dari rahmat-Mu yang tak terbatas, tunjukanlah aku di bulan ini kepada tanda-tanda-Mu yang terang benderang, dan tuntunlah aku kepada ridha-Mu yang sempurna, dengan cinta-Mu wahai Harapan orang-orang yang rindu.
