Peace be upon you all. I would first like to thank you for all your prayers and various positive expressions of care, concern and support. I'm happy to inform you that I am safe and well-treated in Davao City immigration custody, as my request for voluntary deportation is being processed. Though I appreciate your rallies and demonstrations of support in Marawi City, Zamboanga and elsewhere, I advise you all to keep calm and not let your genuine expressions of support spiral out of control and degenerate into wanton destruction of property and the loss of life and limb. Please allow the due process of law to take its course. The false allegations and misunderstandings circulating in the media will be tackled legally in order to clear my name and lift the ban on any future visits to the Philippines – God willing. There is sufficient evidence to prove my innocence in my hundreds of youtube video lectures and khutbahs (see my youtube channel: aabphilips), over 50 published books, many of which can be downloaded freely from my website: www.bilalphilips.com or www.kalamullah.com, or the hundreds of posts on my official facebook page: Dr. Bilal Philips, with almost 2 million likes. As to my being on the no-fly black list of America, I join the ranks of Nelson Mandela who was put on it while he was in Robbin Island, and he remained on the list as president of South Africa until he won the Nobel Peace Prize for the same reason he was put on the list in the first place. Because of a narrow policy of the US and inhospitable atmosphere, I prefer not to go to US like one your local public official in Davao City who shunned going to the US for medical treatment. Not to mention the actual meaning of American label placed on me as an un-indicted co-conspirator in the 1993 attempted bombing of the World Trade Center. In normal language, "un-indicted" simply means "no charges have been filed against me due to lack of evidence", and "co-conspirator" means "guilty by association", that someone who the authorities arrested had my name in their telephone book, or they were seen shaking hands with me, or they prayed next to me in a mosque, etc. Regarding the British 3-year ban, based on a statement taken out of context from a video program originally made in 1995 and rebroadcast along with my other programs continuously in Sharjah TV, UAE, since 2003, it has already been successfully demonstrated to Canadian Immigration authorities that I was misquoted. The ban in Australia follows the American lead blindly and the ban in Kenya also blindly follows the British ban. As for the German lifetime ban unilaterally issued by the Mayor of Frankfurt, it was thrown out of court in Germany last year. The Mayor's appeal was also rejected by the higher courts, he was made to cover all court costs and the ban was lifted. I was not banned or deported from Bangladesh earlier this year as in commonly falsely reported. I entered the country and left on my own will. Sensational journalism has also played a major role in demonizing me, like that of the daily newspaper which plastered a picture of me on their front page, Sept. 10th issue, with the heading "Suspected Terrorist Arrested". The related article contained a series of irresponsible, inflammatory and inaccurate statements from PRO 11 Regional Director Chief Superintendent Wendy G. Rosario. Superintendent Rosario was quoted as saying that I was considered a person of interest because of alleged links to a terrorist group outside the country. I have never had any links nor have I ever been accused of having links to any terrorist group. Superintendent Rosario further stated that I was invited for questioning by the police while lecturing in a mosque which is inaccurate, as I did not lecture in any mosque in Davao, my lecture on "Raising Righteous Children" was a public lecture in the Sunny Point Hotel auditorium attended by Muslims and non-Muslims. He then stated that I was prevented from lecturing in Zamboanga scheduled for the 4 and 5th (correctly the 5th and 6th) which is untrue. I personally decided not to go to Zamboanga when the Mayor of Zamboanga withdrew her support by cancelling the venue and her provision of government security forces. She also requested the Department of Justice to prevent me from coming there. The organizers in Zamboanga requested me to come anyway, assuring security from ex-generals from their ranks, but I thought it prudent not to go since the mayor was personally opposed. He then stated that the Bureau of Immigration issued a blacklist order against me on the 4th September, also untrue. They issued the order on the 5th at the request of the Mayor of Zamboanga, and I arrived in the country on the 4th. He then mentioned that there was a report that I was already blacklisted while failing to mention that the previous blacklisting was lifted by the government. Such irresponsible sensational journalism has been identified by the UK government's Runymede Report as a major source of Islamophobia. I trust and pray that the majority of the people of the Philippines will not tolerate such attitude. It is very sad that lecturers and speakers like myself who call to Islamic moderation and oppose extremism, terrorism, indiscriminate violence and revolt, are blocked from conveying this peaceful message to Muslim minority communities. We recognize that extremism is a product of ignorance of true Islamic teachings so we promote in our lectures the acquisition of correct knowledge and the practice of Islam's authentic teachings. In banning and demonizing us, they have created a vacuum of information which continues to be exploited and filled by extremist elements who easily recruit youthful impressionable followers with emotional messages to their savage, violent and merciless unIslamic methodologies and ideologies. Der Stil ist im wahrsten Sinne poetisch, der Inhalt aber eine einzige Anklage gegen Mullahs und Islam. Schändlicherweise ist der erste Teil dieses Gedicht von Youtube nur mit Altersangaben anschaubar, hier auf dem Blog nicht. Es ist bedauernswert wie große Konzerne vor der islamischen Intolerant einknicken. Das soll dann eine salomonische Entscheidung sein, das auf Kosten der Meinungsfreiheit geht. Bei Allah, wahrlich, ich liebe dich! ... Mit diesen Worten begann der Prophet Muhammad (s.) seine Rede eines Tages mit einem seiner besten Gefährten, nämlich Muadh ibn Dschabal. Stell dir vor! Der ehrliche und wahrhaftige Prophet (s.), der keinen Schwur zu leisten braucht, schwor einmal und sagte jemandem: Bei Allah, ich liebe dich für Allah. Was für eine gewaltige Ehre und Auszeichnung dieser Person zu Teil wird! Denn wenn der Prophet (s.) jemanden liebt, so ist es mit Gewissheit auch Allah ta'ala der diese Person liebt. Es sagte niemand, außer der Prophet Muhammad (s.), zu Muadh (r.): "ich liebe dich!" Der Prophet also höchstpersönlich. Überlege mal; wie viele Gefährten hätten es sich gewünscht, jene Worte vom Propheten zu vernehmen, welche er (s.) Muadh widmete. Seine Annahme des Islams: Nachdem der Prophet (s.) das erste gesegnete Treffen, den ersten Treueid von Aqaba, mit der Delegation von Medina beendet hatte und diese wieder zurück nach Medina, zu ihren Häusern und Familien kehrten, sandte der Prophet (s.) Mus´ab ibn Umair (r.) als Boten, um die Einwohner von Medina den Islam zu lehren und jene zum Islam einzuladen, die noch nicht übergetreten waren. Muadh ibn Dschabal (r.) war ein Bewohner in Medina. In Kontakt mit dem Islam kam er über Mus'ab ibn Umair, der die Bewohner Medinas, im Auftrag des Propheten Muhammad (s.), zum Islam eingeladen hat. Mus'ab ibn Umair (r.) hat Muadh ibn Dschabal zum Islam gebracht; d. h dass Muadh (r.) im Lohnbuch von Mus'ab steht. Bereits nach einem Jahr war die Mehrheit der Bewohner von Medina zum Islam übergetreten. Muadh(r.) war zu dieser Zeit 18 Jahre alt gewesen und starb mit gerade mal 33 Jahren. Im Islam lebte er nur 15 Jahre, aber es hat trotz dieser kurzen Zeit gereicht, zu einem der besten Gefährten des Propheten zu werden. Es ist nicht wichtig wie lange du lebst, sondern wie du lebst. Seit seiner Annahme des Islam hat Muadh (r.) bei allen Schlachten vom Propheten mitgewirkt. Er gehörte auch beim zweiten Treueid von Aqaba (1) zu der Delegation aus Medina. Die Treueide von Aqaba waren die ersten Gesellschaftsverträge des Islam. Sie wurden zwischen den Bewohnern Medinas und dem Propheten Muhammad (s.) an dem Ort Aqaba abgeschlossen. So begaben sich 70 Männer und 2 Frauen von Medina zur Pilgerfahrt-Zeit nach Mekka und verabredeten sich mit dem Propheten (s.) beim Bergpfad von „Aqaba", und nicht direkt in Mekka, da der Prophet (s.) noch unter dem Boykott litt. Bei diesem zweiten Treueid von Aqaba wurde dann ein Schutz- und ein Verteidigungsbündnis unter dem Oberbefehl Muhammads (s.) geschlossen. (2) Ein gewaltiger Gelehrter im Islam: Unter den Gefährten des Propheten war Muadh ibn Dschabal einer der größten Gelehrten. Wenn man nach Wissen fragte, so hat man auch nach Muadh ibn Dschabal gefragt. Der Prophet sagte über Muadh: „...Der Sachkundigste von ihnen (meiner Ummah), in Bezug auf das Erlaubte und das Verbotene, ist Muadh ibn Dschabal..." (3) Das heißt, dass Muadh ibn Dschabal ein absoluter Experte im Bereich des sensiblen Themenfeldes „Erlaubte und Unerlaubte Dinge" war. Und dies bestätigte kein geringerer als der Prophet Muhammed (s.) selbst. Muadh ibn Dschabal war ein Mann des Wissens. Der Prophet hat ihm ein besonders Zeugnis ausgehändigt: Er sagte auch: „Wahrlich, wenn die Leute des Wissen (am Tage des Gerichts) vor ihrem Herrn, dem Mächtigen und Erhabenen gebracht werden, wird Muadh einen Schritt vor ihnen sein." (4) Eines Tages sagte der Prophet: "Was für ein vorzüglicher Mann Abu Bakr ist!" Er sagte weiter: „Was für ein vorzüglicher Mann Umar ibn al-Khattab ist! Was für ein vorzüglicher Mann Muadh ibn Dschabal ist!". (5) Welche eine Persönlichkeit muss er, möge Allah zufrieden mit ihm sein, gehabt haben! Muadh ibn Dschabal ist ein Jugendlicher, welcher mit 18 den Islam angenommen hat, und mit 33 gestorben ist. Er hat eine Rangstufe beim Propheten erreicht, nach der sich jeder Gefährte seiner Zeit sehnte. Allah hat ohne Frage seine geringe Lebenszeit gesegnet und seine Stellung um die höchsten Rangstufen erhöht. Es ist wirklich ein großes Lob für Muadh ibn Dschabal, dass der Prophet ihn in einem Hadith (Überlieferung) mit den beiden größten Gefährten, Abu Bakr und Umar, überhaupt nannte. Der Prophet sagte in seiner letzten Predigt: „Niemand ist ein besserer Gefährte für mich gewesen, als Abu Bakr". Er (s.) nannte auch Umar (r.) "Al-Farouq". "Al-Farouq" ist jene Person, die zwischen der Wahrheit und der Lüge unterscheidet bzw. eine Änderung herbeiführt. Wie gewaltig ist Abu Bakr! Wie gewaltig ist Umar! Aber wie gewaltig ist auch Muadh ibn Dschabal! Weitaus mehr Vorzüge wurden uns über diesen gewaltigen Gefährten des Propheten überliefert. Muadh ibn Dschabal wird oft als Überlieferer [rawi] zitiert. Der Prophet (s.) sagte: "Nehmt den Koran von vier Männern: von Abdullah ibn Mas'oud, von Ubay ibn Ka'ab, von Muadh ibn Dschabal und von Salim Mawla Huthayfa". (6) Von diesen vier Personen hat uns der Prophet angewiesen, den Koran zu nehmen. Wer kennt seine Gefährten besser als der Prophet selbst? Muhammad (s.), welcher der Wahrhaftige ist und der für seine Ummah nur das Beste will. Unter all den herausragenden Gefährten nannte er uns lediglich vier Namen, was beweist wie schwer es war diesen Rang des Wissens zu erlangen. Einer dieser vier Gefährten war der junge Muadh. Von Anas ibn Malik (r.) ist überliefert, dass er sagte: "Den Koran haben zurzeit des Gesandten (s.) vier (Personen) gesammelt, alle von den Ansar: Ubayy ibn Ka`b, Muadh ibn Dschabal, Zaid ibn Thabit und Abu Zaid." (7) Abu Nu´man berichtet einen Ausspruch von Muadh Ibn Dschabal über die Vorzüglichkeit des Wissens: „Das Wissen ist in Zeiten der Einsamkeit ein tröstender Freund, es ist der beste Begleiter auf Reisen, und es ist der innere Freund, der zu dir in der Zurückgezogenheit spricht. Das Wissen ist der erkennende Beweis dafür, was richtig und was falsch ist. Und es ist die gute Kraft, welche dir helfen wird, die Prüfungen der Gemütlichkeit zu überwinden – auch die des Leidens. Das Wissen ist dein stärkstes Schwert gegen deinen Feind, und schließlich ist es in der Gesellschaft deiner Gefährten deine schönste Kleidung." Zu seinen Aussagen über das Wissen gehört auch: "Lerne, was auch immer du an Wissen erwerben willst, und Allah wird dich nicht belohnen, solange du nicht nach dem handelst, was du gelernt hast!". Allah erhöht den Rang einiger Menschen und Er macht sie zu Führern der Rechtschaffenheit und zu Vorbildern der Moral. Die Leute werden ihre Meinungen ersuchen und sie befürworten. Die Engel im Himmel suchen nach ihrer Gesellschaft und bedecken sie mit ihren Flügeln, sie bitten Allah den Allmächtigen um Vergebung ihrer Sünden, sogar der Fisch in den Meeren, die Tiere auf dem Land und jeder Vogel beten zu Allah und bitten Ihn um Seine Barmherzigkeit an ihrer Stelle. Dies ist so, weil das Wissen die toten Herzen belebt und sie aus der Finsternis ins Licht hinaus führt und weil das Wissen das Licht der inneren Augen ist, welches die Blindheit heilt und die Sehkraft stärkt. Muadh in Jemen: Der Prophet Muhammad (s.) sandte Muadh (r.) kurz vor seinem Dahinscheiden in den Jemen, um die dortigen Bürger zum Islam einzuladen. Ibn Abbas, Allahs Wohlgefallen auf ihm, berichtete: „Als der Prophet Muhammad (s.) Muadh Ibn Dschabal (r.) nach Jemen sandte, sagte er zu ihm: „Du gehst zu einem Volk der Schrift. So soll der (alleinige) Dienst zu Allah (la ilaha illa llah= Es gibt keinen Gott außer Allah) das erste sein, zu dem du sie rufst. Wenn sie das annehmen, dann sage ihnen folgendes: Allah befiehlt ihnen, in den Tages- und Nachtzeiten fünfmal zu beten. Tun sie das, dann sage ihnen, dass Allah ihnen befiehlt, von ihrem Vermögen einen Teil an die Armen unter ihnen zu entrichten. Wenn sie deinem Befehl gehorchen, so nimm nicht ihre wertvollsten Güter (als Zakah). Fürchte dich vor der Verwünschung des ungerecht Behandelten, denn zwischen dem ungerecht Behandelten und Allah gibt es keinen Vorhang." (8) Imam Ibn Taymiyah schrieb in Al Wasiyyah über Muadh: „Teil der Vorzüglichkeit von Mu`adh war es weiter, dass der Prophet, Allahs Heil und Segen auf ihm, ihn zu den Leuten von Jemen als Verkünder, Aufrufer (zum Islam), Lehrer, um die Religion zu erklären und als jemanden, der Entscheidungen fällt und somit richtet, entsandte." Sein Tod: Als er von Jemen zurückkam war Abu Bakr Kalif. Unter allen Kalifen soll er als sehr angesehene Person und Lehrer des Heiligen Koran fungiert haben, später vor allem in Palästina, wo er 630 n. Chr. im Alter von 33 Jahren an der Pest gestorben sein soll. Man sagt, dass sein Grab in Ghor im Jordantal sein. Muadh ibn Dschabal hat oft über den Tod gedacht und sich oft daran erinnert. Bei seinen letzten Atemzügen sagte er: Oh Allah, ich habe Dich immer gefürchtet und heute flehe ich Dich an! Oh Allah, Du weißt, dass ich in meinem Leben nur durch das Land gezogen bin und nur Geld verdient habe, damit ich mir mehr Wissen über deine Religion aneigne. Bei seinem Tod hatte er keine Angst davor; sondern er streckte seine Hände aus, um den Tod zu begrüßen und sagte: "Herzlich willkommen oh Tod! Komm zu mir!". Von Metwally Galal Fußnoten: (s.)
