Um genau zu sein, 4.084 lange Tage und Nächte. Ich wurde nie eines Verbrechens angeklagt. Mir wurde noch nie erlaubt die Beweise, die gegen mich vorgebracht werden, zu sehen. Es ist alles geheim, sogar meine Aussagen, die sie durch Folter an mir rausbekamen sind geheim. Im Jahr 2007, das war ungefähr die Hälfte meines Gefängnisaufenthalts, wurde ich von der Bush Regierung freigesprochen. Im Jahr 2009 wurde ich nochmal unter der Obama Regierung freigesprochen. Alle 6 Geheimdienste an der vordersten Front haben mich freigesprochen. Doch ich bin immernoch hier (in Guantanamo). Jeden Tag in Guantanamo ist Folter – die gleiche Folter wie die, die ich in Bagram und im Kandahar Militärstützpunkt erleben musste, als ich dort gefangen war. Es sind nicht wirklich die einzelnen Misshandlungen (dass man der Decke mit seinen Händen gefesselt ist wie ein Fleischspieß, man getreten und geschlagen wird und man Schlafentzug bekommt und die Schultern auskugeln in diesem Zustand) es sind die Erlebnisse und Misshandlungen insgesamt. Mein Lieblingsbuch hier (ich habe es immer wieder durchgelesen) ist von George Orwell das Buch „1984". Folter ist für die Folter und das System ist für das System. Mehr als ein Jahrzent meines Lebens wurde mir gestohlen, für keinen richtigen Grund. Ich nehme das übel, ja das tue ich. Ich habe die Geburt meines jüngsten Sohnes verpasst und einige der schönsten Jahre mit all meinen 4 Kindern. Ich liebe es, Vater zu sein und ich habe immer versucht so gut wie es geht einer zu sein. Ich will nach Hause gehen (nach London, wo er lebte). Ja, das will ich, aber ich werde niemals darum betteln. Wenn ich hier sterben muss, will ich, dass meine Kinder wissen, dass ich für ein Prinzip gestorben bin – nämlich: mich nicht vor meinen Peinigern zu verbeugen. Ich bin nun seit mehr als 60 Tagen im Hungerstreik. Ich habe fast ein-viertel-Gewicht meines Körpers verloren. Ich kann meine Schmerzen kaum mehr spüren – die Rückenschmerzen von all den Schlägen, die ich bekommen habe, den Rheuma, den ich wegen der eisigen Klima Anlage bekommen habe, mein Asthma, den ich durch die giftigen Sprays bekommen habe, die sie dafür benutzen um uns zu foltern. Mein Asthma hat sich verschlimmert. Es ist eine endlose Liste. Und nun verspüre ich 24 Stunden, 7 Tage die Woche den Schmerz des Hungers. Hast du jemals versucht 24 Stunden ohne Essen auszukommen? Heute ist mein 68. Tag ohne Essen. Aber ein Mithäftling in meinem Block ist seit dem Jahr 2005 (seit 8 Jahren) im Hungerstreik. Kannst du dir das vorstellen? Er lebt heute nur noch aus dem Grund, weil sie ihn zwangsernähren. Seine Aussage: „Gib mir Freiheit oder gib mir den Tod." In Wahrheit, während ich durch den ganzen Leid um mich herum entsetzt bin, bin ich ebenso ermutigt. Es gibt unter den Häftlingen mehr Zusammenhalt als je zuvor. Das Militär lügt über die Zahl der Häftlinge, die sich im Hungerstreik befinden: die meisten von uns sind im Hungerstreik. Das Militär reagiert mit Gewalt, als ob es uns kaputt machen würde, es zieht uns alle eher zusammen. Mitlerweile schicken sie uns Schlägertypen-Truppen (Die Zwangszell Gewinnung oder FCE Team) um uns jedes Mal zusammen zu schlagen, wenn wir nach etwas fragen wie Medizin, eine Flasche Wasser oder wenn wir darum fragen, richtig duschen gehen zu können. Doch das verstärkt nur meine Entschlossenheit. Mein Anwalt sagte mir, dass es Menschen da draußen gibt, die sich um mich sorgen.., dass mehr als 100,000 Leute in England (und überall auf der Welt) eine Petition unterschrieben haben, um von dem Parlament zu fordern, über meinen Fall zu sprechen. Ich hoffe, dass ich nicht in diesem schrecklichen Ort sterben werde. Ich will meine Kinder umarmen und sehen, wie sie wachsen. Doch wenn es Allah's Wille ist, dass ich hier sterbe, dann will ich mit Würde sterben. Ich hoffe, wenn das schlimmste vom schlimmsten passieren sollte, meine Kinder verstehen, dass ich mich für die Rechte derjenigen, die um mich herum leiden, eingesetzt habe. So obviously I want to go home to London. Of course I do. But I am never going to beg. If I have to die here, I want my children to know that I died for a principle, without bowing to my abusers. I have been on hunger strike for more than 60 days now. I have lost nearly a quarter of my body weight. I barely notice all of my medical ailments any more – the back pain from the beatings I have taken, the rheumatism from the frigid air conditioning, the asthma exacerbated by the toxic sprays they use to abuse us. There is an endless list. And now, 24/7 (as the Americans say), I have the ache of hunger. Have you ever tried going without food for 24 hours? Today, I am on my 68th day. But a man in my block has been on strike since 2005. Can you imagine it? He's only alive today because the Americans force-feed him, preventing him from making that ultimate statement of principle, the same one they have on their New Hampshire licence plates: "Give me freedom, or give me death." In truth, while I am horrified by the suffering around me, I am also encouraged. There is more solidarity among the prisoners than ever before. The military is not being honest about the number of men on strike: most of us are refusing to eat. The military responds with violence, as if that will break us; it draws us all together. Now they are sending in the goon squad (the Forcible Cell Extraction, or FCE, team) to beat me up every time I ask for something, whether it is my medicine, a bottle of water or the right to shower. That only reinforces my resolve. And my lawyer tells me there are people out there who care, that more than 100,000 people back home in Britain have signed a petition demanding that parliament should debate my case. I hope I do not die in this awful place. I want to hug my children and watch them as they grow. But if it is God's will that I should die here, I want to die with dignity. I hope, if the worst comes to the worst, that my children will understand that I cared for the rights of those suffering around me almost as much as I care for them. Eine Schwester aus Tschetschenien bittet um Hilfe. Alle Schwestern, die mit Hijab auf die Straße gehen, werden angegriffen. Ihnen werden die Klamotten und ihr Kopftuch runter gerissen, beschimpft, geschlagen und kahl rasiert. SubhanAllah sogar die Unterwäsche wird ihnen ausgezogen um zu sehen was dort ist(der tschetschenische Präsident hatte angekündigt Frauen, die "mit schwarzem (dunklem) Hijab rausgehen und/oder ihren Kinn bedecken, das Kleid und die Unterwäsche auszuziehen um zu sehen was sie dort verstecken"!!!) Der tschetschenische Präsident hat auch gesagt, dass solche Frauen, wie oben beschrieben, vergewaltigt werden. Es gibt sogar Fälle, wo die Mädchen auf offener Straße vergewaltigt werden!!! Und jeder dort guckt nur zu! Wenn so etwas passiert gehen die Menschen einfach weiter und helfen unseren Schwestern nicht Und Kopftuch anziehen ist ihnen erst dann erlaubt, wenn sie dabei sehr enge Sachen anziehen! Ich bitte euch für Allah azza wajal Dua für unsere Geschwister in Tschetschenien und auf der ganzen Welt zu machen.
