    قالت وكالة الأنباء الفرنسية الخميس أن السعودية سحبت إدارة الملف السوري من رئيس المخابرات الأمير بندر بن سلطان، فيما بات وزير الداخلية الأمير محمد بن نايف ممسكا بجوانب واسعة من هذا الملف.

    وقال دبلوماسي غربي في الخليج إن "الأمير بندر لم يعد المسؤول (على الملف السوري)، والأمير محمد بن نايف هو من بات المسؤول الأساسي على هذا الملف".

    وكان الأمير نايف شارك الأسبوع الماضي في اجتماع عقد في واشنطن بين مسؤولين عرب وغربيين للبحث في الوضع على الأرض في سوريا، بحسب مصدر مقرب من هذا الملف.

    وذكرت مصادر دبلوماسية وفقا للوكالة أن واشنطن وجهت انتقادات لإدارة الأمير بندر للملف السوري.

    وكان الأمير بندر، وهو نجل ولي العهد السابق الأمير سلطان بن عبد العزيز آل سعود، عين في تموز/يوليو 2012 على رأس جهاز المخابرات السعودي.

    وشغل الأمير بندر طوال 22 عاما منصب السفير السعودي في واشنطن. ولم يغط الإعلام السعودي أي نشاط له منذ كانون الثاني/يناير.

    أما الأمير محمد بن نايف، فهو نجل ولي العهد السابق الأمير نايف بن عبد العزيز، وهو يضطلع بدور رئيسي في الحرب التي تشنها السعودية على الإرهاب وتنظيم القاعدة
