Today, the 3rd of March 2014, marks 90 years of the abolition of the Khilafah.* Effectively finished a few years earlier, the office was formally abolished on the 3rd of March 1924, to the jubilation of the disbelievers and the extreme sorrow and pain of the believers. The famous verses of Ahmad Shawki – Allah have mercy on him – most poignantly expressed the feelings of the Ummah at the time: Minarets and pulpits were in uproar over you Kingdoms and regions wept over you India is bewildered, Egypt grief-stricken Weeping over you with streaming tears Al-Sham questions, so too Iraq and Persia Has the Khilafah been erased from the Earth? There is no doubt that what followed in the last 90 years has been the darkest period in history of Ummah, in which she saw the colonial and neo-colonial periods. The Muslim world was a shambles. Plundered, raped, and left for dead - economically, politically, culturally, in every respect. Little wonder, however, since the success and flourishing of the Ummah, in this life, before the hereafter, depends on her living by the revelation of Allah, her implementing Islam, and the complete implementation of Islam requires the Khilafah. Allah, the Exalted, says, "If only they had stood fast by the Law, the Gospel, and all the revelation that was sent to them from their Lord, they would have enjoyed happiness from every side." [5:66] "If the people of the towns had but believed and feared God, We should indeed have opened out to them (all kinds of) blessings from heaven and earth." [7:96] The Khilafah is also the means by which the Ummah fights her enemies and is protected from foreign aggression. Without her shield she is defenseless, an easy target for every one with evil designs. The Prophet, Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Indeed, the Imam is a shield, behind whom they (the believers) fight and by whom they are protected." [Agreed upon] The Khalifah's being a shield means he is, as al-Nawawi notes, "like a guard because he prevents the enemy from harming the Muslims, and prevents the people from fighting each other, and protects the lands of Islam…" and they fight behind him means, "they fight with him against the disbelievers, rebels, khawarij, and other people of corruption and oppression in all its forms." Given these realities about what the Khilafah represents (hence being of the most important obligations**), we can appreciate why the darkest period of Islamic history has been the one in which the Khilafah has been absent. Indeed, the night has been long. But, behind every night is a dawn. The dawn must and will rise for the Ummah. We know it will. Islam will be established. The Khilafah will be established, even if the disbelievers detest it. Even if the secularists/liberals/capitalists detest it, and they do! But, it is promise of Allah, and Allah is in full control of His affair even if most people know not. And it is the glad tiding of His Prophet, Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he is the truthful, the one whose words are attested to as truth. From the reality perspective too, we can see it coming closer, as we see the Ummah's revival gather pace and go from strength to strength, by the grace of Allah, the Exalted. And the recent uprisings have played no small part it that, walhamdulillah! The question, of course, is not *if* the Khilafah will be established, nor *when*, but what role am I playing? How do I contribute to this collective obligation? Am I playing my due part or am I a mere observer? Am I too busy with the distractions of this world, serious or frivolous? Have the distractions of this 'lower/baser' world [hayat al-dunya] deceived my away from the promise of Allah? Am I of those who work for the establishment of Islam or am I of those who have secularised Islam, restricting it to the individual sphere? And if I am of those who do work – according to whatever valid method as adduced by scholars – how much effort do I exert in that work? Where is it in my list of priorities? Am I in the frontlines? Do I carry my weight? Or am I just tagging along and making up the numbers? These are the real questions each one of us need to ask ourselves and answer ourselves, before we are asked by Allah and have to answer to Him, the Exalted. "And every one of them shall come to Him, on the Day of Resurrection, alone." Diese glückliche Vater-Tochter Beziehung gib es leider nicht mehr. Nach langer Folter wurde der Vater Obaida Bakor in Assads Gefängnissen getötet.
Wenn ich so ein Bild sehe muss ich immer an mein Onkel denken. Er hat auch eine kleine Tochter und ist jetzt seit mehr als 2 Jahren festgenommen.
Wir wissen nichts über ihn! NICHTS!
Er saß eines Abends mit seiner Tochter im Schoß, als die Truppen an seine Tür klopften und meinten sie hätten einige Fragen... sie haben ihn mitgenommen und nie wieder zurückgebracht...
Wieviele solche Geschichten es wohl mittlerweile gibt...

Und DAS ist was er wirklich getan hat! Er hat das wunderschöne Land zerstört. Er hat MEIN und DEIN Land vollkommen zerstört. Er hat UNSERE Häuser ausgebrannt und UNSERE Kinder zu Waisen gemacht.
Solange DU ein Mensch bist musst du immer dran denken: Es ist UNSER Land, Es sind UNSERE Kinder und es sind UNSERE ELTERN, FREUNDE und NACHBARN die dort sterben.
Egal was auf deine Pass steht. Solange DU Mensch bist, musst du mit deinen Mitmenschen mitfühlen... hier oder in Syrien! Nur solange du MENSCH bist...

3. The Prophet Mohammed pbuh said: "Whoever witnesses that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is Allah's Messenger, Allah forbids the Fire from touching him." [3] Ibn Hajar in Fath al-Bari, book of riqaq ch. 14 (1989 ed. 11:324) says that the hadiths of "Allah forbids the Fire from touching him" are even more explicit than those of "Allah will enter him into Paradise" in establishing that the one who declares Allah's Oneness is saved even if he does not heed the orders and the prohibitions.

"Salamo Alaikum. Die islamische Ehe ist die Vollendung des Glaubens. Warum eine Ehe nicht so läuft, wie sie laufen sollte, kann unterschiedliche, manchmal auch kleine Gründe haben.
Die Frage, die sich sicherlich die meisten stellen ist, wie werde ich ein guter Ehemann und Vater bzw. eine gute Ehefrau und Mutter?!
