    ‫و أنا في هذا النشيج الصامت ... و تسبيحة الرجاء اليومي ...
    كان لي هدف و أمل عبر دروب الزمن الذي يلهب الأرض بسياط السرعة ...
    أن أرى نهاية القصة الهزلية ... و أن أرى وطني على خُطى الحرية ...
    و ما كان لي حلم شخصي أو هدف ذاتي .. و لكن جُل هدفي و مأربي أن أرى وطني مُعافاً من كل ما دُنس به من أدران و زينة القوم الفاسقين...
    يزيد في عُمق التحدي أن أحباباً لنا من أعز الناس قد دفعوا ثمن الحرية إما بحياتهم ... أو بحبسهم في زنازين لا تليق بالكلاب ...!
    بعد عودتي من الغربة و انتظار الثورة .. وجدتني أنشد بما قاله إبراهيم ناجي في قصيدة العودة ...
    رفْرَفَ القلبُ بجنبي كالذبيـــــحْ .... وأنا أهتف: يا قلبُ اتّئـــدْ
    فيجيب الدمعُ والماضي الجريحْ .... لِمَ عُدنا؟ ليت أنّا لم نعد !
