Kann etwas „nicht existieren"?
Man spricht davon, dass Gott den Menschen aus dem Nichts erschaffen hat. Gibt es in Wirklichkeit überhaupt etwas, das als das Nichts bezeichnet werden kann?
In Wirklichkeit gibt es kein Nichts. Es gibt nur eine augenscheinliche Nichtexistenz, jedoch keine absolute.
Als Universum und Mensch noch nicht erschaffen waren, existierten sie bereits im Wissen Allahs جج. Daraufhin wurden sie durch den Willen Gottes und seine Macht erschaffen und kamen somit an den Tag. Es gibt zwei Formen des Erschaffens von Allah جج. Zum einen die direkte Erschaffung aus dem Nichts ohne jegliche Ursachen (ibda') und zum anderen die stufenweise Erschaffung aus etwas bereits existierendem (inscha').
Damit eine Sache existieren kann bedarf es unbedingt einem wissentlichen Projekt. Dieses wissentliche Projekt ist die geistige, wissentliche Existenz der Sache. Damit eine Sache aus etwas bereits existierenden hervorgehen kann bedarf es einem Wissen und einer Macht die über jedes einzelne Element herrscht und urteilen kann. Beispielsweise wird für das Herstellen einer Maschine ein begabter Ingenieur und ein Entwurf benötigt. Wie sollte sonst eine Maschine ohne Ingenieur und Planung entstehen? Daher kann für jeden Vernünftigen von „wahrer Nichtexistenz" nicht die Rede sein.
