Hari Jum'at termasuk hari 'Id kaum Muslimin setiap pekannya. Dari Aus bin 'Aus, Rasulullah Shallallahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam bersabda, "Sesungguhnya di antara hari kalian yang paling utama adalah hari Jum'at. Di hari itu, Adam diciptakan; di hari itu, Adam meninggal; di hari itu, tiupan sangkakala pertama dilaksanakan; di hari itu pula, tiupan kedua dilakukan." (HR. Abu Daud, An Nasai, Ibnu Majah dan Ahmad, shahih) Di antara amalan di hari Jum'at adalah sebagai berikut: 1.Terlarang mengkhususkan malam Jum'at dengan shalat dan siang harinya dengan berpuasa. Dari Abu Hurairah, Rasulullah Shallallahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam bersabda, "Janganlah mengkhususkan malam Jum'at dengan shalat tertentu dan janganlah mengkhususkan hari Jum'at dengan berpuasa kecuali jika bertepatan dengan puasa yang mesti dikerjakan ketika itu." (HR. Muslim) Imam Nawawi rahimahullah berkata, "Dalam hadits ini menunjukkan dalil yang tegas dari pendapat mayoritas ulama Syafi'iyah dan yang sependapat dengan mereka mengenai dimakruhkannya mengerjakan puasa secara bersendirian pada hari Jum'at. Hal ini dikecualikan jika puasa tersebut adalah puasa yang bertepatan dengan kebiasaannya, atau ia berpuasa pada hari sebelum atau sesudahnya, atau bertepatan dengan puasa nadzarnya seperti ia bernadzar meminta kesembuhan dari penyakitnya." (Syarh Shahih Muslim, 8/19) 2.Ketika shalat Shubuh di hari Jum'at dianjurkan membaca Surat As Sajdah dan Surat Al Insan. Dari Abu Hurairah, beliau berkata, "Nabi Shallallahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam biasa membaca pada shalat Shubuh di hari Jum'at "Alam Tanzil …" (surat As Sajdah) pada raka'at pertama dan"Hal ataa 'alal insaani hiinum minad dahri lam yakun syai-am madzkura"(surat Al Insan) pada raka'at kedua." (HR. Muslim) 3.Memperbanyak shalawat kepada Nabi di hari Jum'at. Dari Abu Umamah, Rasulullah Shallallahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam bersabda, "Perbanyaklah shalawat kepadaku pada setiap Jum'at. Karena shalawat umatku akan diperlihatkan padaku pada setiap Jum'at. Barangsiapa yang banyak bershalawat kepadaku, dialah yang paling dekat denganku pada hari kiamat nanti." (HR. Baihaqi dalam Sunan Al Kubro, hasan lighoirihi). 4.Dianjurkan membaca Surat Al Kahfi di malam atau siang hari Jum'at. Dari Abu Sa'id Al Khudri, Nabi Shallallahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam bersabda, "Barangsiapa membaca surat Al Kahfi pada hari Jum'at, maka ia akan disinari oleh cahaya di antara dua jum'at" (HR. Hakim, shahih). Dalam lafazh lainnya disebutkan, "Barangsiapa membaca surat Al Kahfi pada malam Jum'at, maka ia akan mendapat cahaya antara dirinya dan rumah yang mulia (Ka'bah)." (HR. Ad Darimi, shahih mauquf) 5.Memperbanyak do'a di hari Jum'at. Dari Abu Hurairah, Rasulullah Shallallahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam menyebutkan tentang hari Jum'at, lantas beliau bersabda, "Di hari Jum'at terdapat suatu waktu yang tidaklah seorang hamba muslim yang ia berdiri melaksanakan shalat lantas ia memanjatkan suatu do'a pada Allah bertepatan dengan waktu tersebut melainkan Allah akan memberi apa yang ia minta." (HR. Bukhari dan Muslim) Ada hadits yang menyebutkan tentang kapan waktu mustajab di hari Jum'at yang dimaksud. Hadits tersebut adalah dari Jabir bin 'Abdillah radhiyallahu 'anhu, dari Rasulullah Shallallahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam, beliau bersabda, "Waktu siang di hari Jum'at ada 12 (jam). Jika seorang Muslim memohon pada Allah 'Azza wa Jalla sesuatu (di suatu waktu di hari Jum'at) pasti Allah 'Azza wa Jalla akan mengabulkannya. Carilah waktu tersebut yaitu di waktu-waktu akhir setelah 'Ashar." (HR. Abu Daud). 6.Mandi Jum'at Rasulullah Shallallahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam bersabda, "Barangsiapa (yang menggauli istrinya) sehingga mewajibkan mandi pada hari Jum'at kemudian diapun mandi, lalu bangun pagi dan berangkat (ke masjid) pagi-pagi, dia berjalan dan tidak berkendara, kemudian duduk dekat imam dan mendengarkan khutbah dengan seksama tanpa sendau gurau, niscaya ia mendapat pahala amal dari setiap langkahnya selama setahun, balasan puasa dan shalat malam harinya." (HR. Tirmidzi no. 496, An Nasai 3/95-96, Ibnu Majah no. 1078, dan Ahmad 4/9) Mandi Jum'at ini menurut jumhur (mayoritas) ulama, hukumnya adalah sunnah (bukan wajib). Di antara alasannya adalah dalil, "Barangsiapa berwudhu di hari Jum'at, maka itu baik. Namun barangsiapa mandi ketika itu, maka itu lebih afdhal." (HR. An Nasai, At Tirmidzi dan Ibnu Majah, shahih). Al Bahuti Al Hambali mengatakan, "Awal mandi Jum'at adalah ketika terbit fajar dan tidak boleh sebelumnya. Namun yang paling afdhol adalah ketika hendak berangkat shalat Jum'at. Inilah yang lebih mendekati maksud." Imam Nawawi menyebutkan, "Jika seseorang mandi setelah terbit fajar (Shubuh), mandi Jum'atnya sah menurut ulama Syafi'iyah dan mayoritas ulama." Di antara keutamaan mandi jum'at disebutkan dalam hadits, "Barang siapa berwudhu' kemudian menyempurnakan wudhu'nya lalu mendatangi shalat Jum'at, lalu dia mendekat, mendengarkan serta berdiam diri (untuk menyimak khutbah), maka akan diampuni dosa-dosanya di antara hari itu sampai Jum'at (berikutnya) dan ditambah tiga hari setelah itu. Barang siapa yang bermain kerikil, maka ia telah melakukan perbuatan sia-sia."(HR. Thus, the meaning of this name is: Muhammad. In all of human history, none of the prophets or messengers have been called by this name except the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), who came with Islam as the religion for all the worlds.
