O mein lieber Bruder, O meine liebe Schwester, in dir liegt eine Ablenkung von den Mängeln anderer, denn in dir sind um ein vielfach vermehrte (Fehler) von dem enthalten, was du bei den Anderen vorfindest, so öffne nicht das Tor zur üblen Nachrede, zum Argwohn und zur Entblößung der Deckungen der Menschen durch das Beschäftigen mit ihren Mängeln, und öffne nicht das Tor des Übels, welches nicht wieder geschlossen werden, durch die Rede über die Menschen, sodass sie über dich sprechen." Solange du bei den Menschen nach Mängeln suchst, wirst du viele Mängel finden, jedoch sind in dir mehr Mängel enthalten. Daher sieht man, dass wenn jemand müde wird und schläft, er erfrischt ist und seine Energie sich erneuert hat. So ist es in Sicherheit vor jeglichem schädlichen Einfluss, der es wieder von Allah entfernen könnte. Und es ist in Sicherheit vor jedwedem Zweifel und Widerspruch an Seiner Botschaft (Offenbarung). Es ist sicher vor jedem Begehren, sich Seiner Gebote zu widersetzen und vor jedem Wunsch darüber zu streiten was Er (von seinen Dienern) will. Und es ist ebenso sicher vor allem, was die Verbindung zu Allah durchtrennen könnte. Also befindet sich dieses gesunde und heile Herz in einem Paradies auf Erden, einem Paradies im Barzakh und in einem Paradies am Tage der Auferstehung. Die Sicherheit und Gesundheit des Herzens erlangt jedoch keine absolute Perfektion, solange es nicht von 5 Sachen befreit wurde: 1. Von der Beigesellung (shirk) die den Tauhid vernichtet. 2. Von den Neuerungen, die der Sunnah widersprechen. 3. Von dem Wünschen, die dem Befehl Allahs widersprechen. 4. Von der Achtlosigkeit, die vom Gedenken abhält. 5. Vom Begehren, welches die Reinheit und Aufrichtigkeit zunicht macht. Diese 5 sind Barrieren zu Allah und jede einzelne von ihnen hat viele weitere Kategorien, welche widerum spezielle Eigenheiten haben, die nicht aufgezählt werden können."
