But We have certainly tried those before them, and Allah will surely make evident those who are truthful, and He will surely make evident the liars.} The sahaba were fully aware of these verses and the meaning they carried and they set an example for what the correct response should be from the brave Muslims of today. When we face hardship like they did, we cannot flee, or give up, we cannot compromise on our belief and our dawah, we cannot be silenced, we cannot be scared of mankind because our Lord, our life, death, property and honour is the hands of Allah swt.
