• Abu Abdullah - Social Mention: After seven days of majaalis in Damascus, Bibi Zainab asked Imam Zain ul 'Abideen whether they could now proceed to Karbala'. Preparations for the journey began. Mehmils with black curtains were arranged for the ladies. Imam Zain ul 'Abideen and Bibi Zainab helped the ladies to mount the mehmils. Suddenly Bibi Zainab noticed that Bibi Rubaab was missing. For a moment there was a panic but soon Bibi Zainab said, "I know where Rubaab is!" Accompanied by Imam Zain ul 'Abideen Bibi Zainab went to the prison. There, with her face on Bibi Sakina's grave, was Bibi Rubaab. Bibi Zainab said to her, 'Rubaab, let us go home!' 'Home?' replied Bibi Rubaab, 'My husband lies at Karbala', my Asghar lies there also. At least he has his father to look after him. Who will look after my Sakina? Khuda Hafiz, Bibi. You go, I will stay here. ' Bibi Rubaab is the lady whose world had been totally shattered. It was after great persuasion she got up to go, She walked slowly to the door supported by Imam Zain ul 'Abideen, all the time looking at the grave. Finally she said "Khuda Hafiz my Sakina!!" So began the last journey of tears. This was to take them first to Karbala' and then back home to Madina. How different is this journey from that first journey from Madina to Mecca? How many had left Madina and how many are going back? Where are all those children who at every stop would gather around Hazrat Abbas? There were over fifty children in the caravan then. Now barely twenty are returning to Madina. The rest lie in Karbala' or along the route Karbala' to Kufa and Kufa to Shaam. And where is Bibi Sakina with her chatter and smile? She is on everyone's mind. Zain ul 'Abideen tearfully says farewell to the prison were lies buried his darling sister. Of course, unlike during their journeys from Karbala' to Kufa and Kufa to Shaam, this time the ladies are not bare headed nor are they mounted on unsaddled camels. They are at last going to Madina but that very thought frightens them. Bibi Zainab thinks: 'What shall I say when they ask where is everyone?' Bibi Rubaab every so often screams out: "Oh Sakina! Oh Asghar! What shall I say to Fatimah Soghra?" Bibi Sughra (A.S) was another daughter of Imam Hussain (A.S), who was left in Madina due to her severe illness. She was also the sister of Hazrat Ali Akbar (A.S) who was brutally martyred in Karbala. Who then is the hero and who is the heroine of this journey? Yes, this journey has no hero and heroine. It has memories, fears, night-mares and tears. Few words are said. The thoughts which crowd in every mind are too heart rending to be spoken out. Ahl al Bait had become very weak and their bones were visible from their skins. As per medical expert opinion, it is not possible in one or two months to dissolve the flesh to such an extent that bones become visible, it requires months. Bibi Zainab embraced the grave of her brother Imam Hussain (A.S) and cried Wa Husaina! Bibi Zainab took out a tiny bundle. She lovingly opened it and placed Bibi Sakina's earrings on the grave saying: "Brother, do forgive me! This is all that is left of your darling Sakina!!" The ladies were weeping and wailing and Imam Zain ul 'Abideen was consoling them. He knew that a very difficult situation was yet to come! The first meeting with Bibi Fatimah Soghra! A heart rending Majlis commenced and the women from the adjacent of the site of the Qatalgah at Karbala joined them. They all mourned there for a few days. Finally, after saying goodbye to their martyrs they started the journey back to Madina. How sad this journey must have been. Even though they were free, their hearts were in Karbala and Syria. Bibi Zainab went up to Imam Zain ul 'Abideen and said, "My son, pray that Allah grant me courage to face Soghra! How shall I answer her questions?" Imam Zain ul 'Abideen replied, "May Allah grant you the patience of Fatimah Zahra and the courage of Ali." It was Nauman ibn Bashir who was assigned by the Umayyad power to take Ahl al Bait from Damascus to Madinah peacefully. Along with Nauman thirty men accompanied him. He used to travel at night while he himself remained behind them so he could keep an observation. When they stopped, he along with his companions, stayed with distance from them. He protected them and looked after their needs fairly until they reached Madinah. Nauman ibn Bashir al Ansari transmits, "When we reached near Madinah, Imam Ali Zain ul Abedeen (A.S) dismounted there and ordered to pitch two tents and instructed Bashir, "O ibn Bashir! Rahmah of Allah upon your father, he was a poet. Like your father, can you recite Marsiyah?" Nauman replied, "Yes, son of Rasulullah(PBUH)! I am also a poet". Imam directed him, "Then go to Madinah and announce the news of the Shahadah of Abu Abdullah al Husain". Nauman ibn Bashir narrated, "I mounted my horse and rushed, until I reached Madinah. When I reached Masjid un Nabavi, I couldn't control my sentiments and started crying and recited these verses, "O people of Yasrib! This place is not suitable for (your) living; Husain has been slaughtered for which my tears are flowing His body lies in Karbala tarnished in dust and blood; While his head was being displayed upon the pierce from place to place Ah!" Then he rejoined, "Ali ibn al Husain has reached outskirts of city of Madinah, along with his aunts and sisters. He has sent me so that I may introduce his Maqam (lofty status)" "Knowing this tragic news, all the veiled women of Muhallah Bani Hashim, Madinah ran out lamenting. I never witnessed such weeping before nor have I observed such a tragic time that has fallen upon the Muslims", narrated Nauman. "Then the people left me and ran towards the place. Muhammad bin Hanafiyyah, son of Amir al Muminin Ali when learnt about the arrival of the caravan, his distress was increased. At that time he was seriously ill, but he rushed towards the Imam." Nauman said, "then I mounted my horse and returned until I saw that the people had occupied all the roads and streets. I dismounted from my horse and tried to cross the people until I reached the tent." The people of Madinah had, of course, already heard of the tragedy of Karbala. They did not however, know the details or that young children had also been killed This announcement of Nauman added fuel to the fire, and the entire city of Madinah was now in filled with Sadness. The arrival of the caravan of the Ahl al Bait presented moving scenes. They came to Imam Ali Zain al Abedeen (A.S) and the ladies went to the tent where Bibi Zainab (A.S) and the other Syedaat were presented. The Syedaat in particular were so much exhausted at returning to their home town Madinah that they didn't control their sentiments. Voice of their Nuha was so much that it could be heard from long distance. Suddenly someone spotted Bibi Fatimah Soghra coming. She was supported on one side by Umme Salmah and on the other by Ummul Baneen. Bibi Zainab prayed to Allah for courage. she put on her chaadar and went out to meet Soghra. Neither could utter a word. Bibi Zainab put her arms around Bibi Fatimah Soghra and brought her inside the tent. Soghra looked around searching every corner."Where is my sister Sakina?" she cried, "Sakina come over, let your older sister embrace you and give you condolences!" At this there was renewed weeping and wailing. Who could possible have the courage to tell Soghra where Bibi Sakina was? Oh God! Soghra now looked at the lap of Bibi Rubaab, She did not find there whom she was looking for! Then she looked at the lap of each of the other ladies. She could not see what she was looking for. Then she looked outside lest the young child she was looking for had crawled out! Frightened of what Soghra might ask, Bibi Zainab asked for Imam Zain ul 'Abideen to come over. Our fourth Imam came. He put his arms around Soghra. In between sobs he said, "Soghra, Oh my dear sister, have patience! Asghar is lying in a grave in Karbala'." Bibi Fatimah Soghra stared at her elder brother Imam Zainul Abedin (A.S) in absolute disbelief! And then she screamed and fell unconscious! Imam Zainul Abedin (A.S) came outside wiping his tears with a handkerchief. A servant followed him carrying a chair and placed it down and Imam sat upon it. His tears were constantly flowing while the voices of lamenting of men increased and women started wailing. Sermon of Imam Zainul Abedin (A.S) Imam (A.S) instructed the mourners to remain silent and the voices of lamenting ceased. Then he said, "All praise is to the Lord of the worlds. The Master of the day of Qiyamah. The Creator of all creation. By the Lord whose understanding is far away and who is so near so as to hear the secrets (of his slaves). I praise Him upon the serious episode and the disasters of time, and upon the severity of grief and bitter taste of tragedies, and the great sorrow and grand grief, heartrending and afflicting hardships. O people! Verily Allah, the worthy of praise, tried us by means of great sorrows while a deep fissure manifested in Islam. Abu Abdullah al Husain and his family were slaughtered, while his women and children were driven in captivity. His head was paraded in the cities upon the lance, while this disaster is incomparable. O people! Which of your men would delight after his death, and which of your hearts would not scorch for him? Which of your eyes would spare it of tears, and which of you would restrain yourself from beating your faces? Seven elevated heavens wept upon his Shahadah, while the rivers along with their waves, the heavens along with their pillars, the earth along with her outskirts, and the trees along with their branches, the fishes of the oceans and their depths, the Malaek in proximity (to Allah), as also all the dwellers of the heavens lamenting upon him. O people! What hearts are there that would not rip upon his Shahadah? And what consciences are there that would not scorch upon it? And what ears are there that would not turn deaf when they witness this fissure manifested in Islam? O people! We were driven forth and paraded from far and near the cities as if we were the children of Turks or Afghan descent, without having committed a crime or performed evil deeds, nor are we one of those who have created the fissure in Islam. Never did we even hear such thing from our ancient forefathers, this is nothing but new. Wallah! If Rasulullah, instead of making recommendations for us, had entrusted them to fight us, they would not have done to us any more harm than what they already have done. Verily we are for Allah's, and verily to Him shall we return. What a severe, painful, tragic, grievous, sorrowful, heartrending and bitter was the trouble that we witnessed and bore. We offer it to Allah's account, the Mighty, the Avenger". Buka of Zainab at the grave of grandfather, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Saheb al Maqtal says that Bibi Zainab (A.S) caught hold of a pair of the doors of the Masjid an Nabavi and called out "O grandfather! I inform you about the (tragic) death of my brother Husain". After submitting this tears of Zainab started flowing and she could not control her weeping. Each time when her sight fell upon Al Imam Ali ibn al Husain (A.S), her grief increased. Zainab sat by the grave of her grandfather and complained, with tears in her eyes "O my Grandfather! Look at what Yazid and his solders committed to your Grandchildren. They slaughtered your most beloved Grandson, Abi Abdillah al Husain. They killed Abil Fazlil Abbas, when he went to get water for Sakina. They killed Ali Akbar, whose face resembled you. They killed sons of Hasan, Qasim and Abdullah. They killed my sons Aun and Muhammad. They didn't even leave infant Ali Asghar. O my dear Grandfather! One of your beloved grand daughters was also departed in the dark prison of Syria." The tears we shed and the maatam we perform will be little more than hypocrisy if we allow ourselves to forget the message of Karbala' until next 'ashra al-Muharram. If we do so we shall be guilty of having insulted the martyrs in such a manner that our Imam will never forgive us. We must remember that mourning for the martyrs is not a ritual we have to perform. We do so out of love for them and to keep their memory alive so that people everywhere in every age will remember what our Imam lived and died for. From the day he left Madina on the 28th Rajab in 60 Hijrah, at every stage, our Imam made his mission clear. He left no doubt as to his intentions. It was not to fight Yazid to get the throne of the empire over which the khalifah ruled. Imam's mission was to reawaken the spirit of Islam and rekindle the Islamic conscience which was nearing extinction by the conduct of Muawiya and Yazid. Justice and morality were gradually being destroyed by the greed for land and power of those who had become rulers. Where Quraan insists that distinction can be accorded by piety alone, aristocracy based on nepotism and blood relationship was reigning the social order. There is more history regarding the aftermaths of Karbala. How Madina was attacked and how Masjid un Nabawi was disrespected. But the journey of tears for the family of Ahle Bait from Karbala to Kufa, then Shaam, then back to Karbala enroute to Madina ends here. [1 Aktualisierung]

ASLO: Also jetzt mal Klartext : ich kenn Bushido und Kay One !!! Kay One hat früher die geilsten texte für Bushido geschrien und komponiert, und Bushido hatte Mega Erfolg ...... Kenneth durch sein Talent mega motiviert , wollteTeil am Erfolg haben....der wurde ihm nicht gestattet.......er wurde mit Kleingeld abgespeist----zum leben zu wenig - zum sterben zu viel ! 14.000€ für ein komplettes Album mit Text und Musik ha ha ha ha ( was dann über 1 Mio einnimmt) Dicke Eier hatte Kenneth und trennte sich von der Truppe um sein eigenes Ding aufzubauen ,,,, mit Hilfe vom Stiefvater....ging's dann mehr recht als schlecht ... aber Kay One wurde ein Erfolg und füllte die Hallen ...... Erfolg gibt recht , Rapper- Krieg sorgt immer für Schlagzeilen..(TUPAC :::::::)..dies ist aber kein Rapperkrieg aus meiner Sicht , weil Bushido eine NULL ist mit der man sich nicht mal messen sollte , ein NIEMAND , ein NICHTS .... vergesst den Möchtegern Kriminellen Pseudo Bad Boy Rapper , der ohne Hilfe nicht mal einen klaren Satz raus bring . Kay One macht Musik mit LIEBE UND HERZ für seine Fans und Bushido ist einfach der , der jetzt weinen muss ; weil er ohne seinen Ex Partner KAY ONE _ PRINCE of BELVEDAIR einfach keinen Hit mehr landen kann , weil er es alleine eben nicht KANN !!!!! Weil er NIX kann ..... ( abwarten - kommt nix mehr mit Stil & Klasse ) oder ich mache doch mal -----wir warten... und : ein Rat von MIR PRINZ MARCUS VON ANHALT !!!! HÖR AUF MEINEN FREUND ZU BEDROHEN MIT DEINEN LIBANESISCHEN FREUNDEN ....... DAS ECHO WIRD FÜRCHTERLICH SEIN !!!! Kleiner Bushido der meint im kriminellen Milieu mit spielen zu können ..... du bist Kindergarten für mich !  Abu Abdullah - Social Mention: After seven days of majaalis in Damascus, Bibi Zainab asked Imam Zain ul 'Abideen whether they could now proceed to Karbala'. Preparations for the journey began. Mehmils with black curtains were arranged for the ladies. Imam Zain ul 'Abideen and Bibi Zainab helped the ladies to mount the mehmils. Suddenly Bibi Zainab noticed that Bibi Rubaab was missing. For a moment there was a panic but soon Bibi Zainab said, "I know where Rubaab is!" Accompanied by Imam Zain ul 'Abideen Bibi Zainab went to the prison. There, with her face on Bibi Sakina's grave, was Bibi Rubaab. Bibi Zainab said to her, 'Rubaab, let us go home!' 'Home?' replied Bibi Rubaab, 'My husband lies at Karbala', my Asghar lies there also. At least he has his father to look after him. Who will look after my Sakina? Khuda Hafiz, Bibi. You go, I will stay here. ' Bibi Rubaab is the lady whose world had been totally shattered. It was after great persuasion she got up to go, She walked slowly to the door supported by Imam Zain ul 'Abideen, all the time looking at the grave. Finally she said "Khuda Hafiz my Sakina!!" So began the last journey of tears. This was to take them first to Karbala' and then back home to Madina. How different is this journey from that first journey from Madina to Mecca? How many had left Madina and how many are going back? Where are all those children who at every stop would gather around Hazrat Abbas? There were over fifty children in the caravan then. Now barely twenty are returning to Madina. The rest lie in Karbala' or along the route Karbala' to Kufa and Kufa to Shaam. And where is Bibi Sakina with her chatter and smile? She is on everyone's mind. Zain ul 'Abideen tearfully says farewell to the prison were lies buried his darling sister. Of course, unlike during their journeys from Karbala' to Kufa and Kufa to Shaam, this time the ladies are not bare headed nor are they mounted on unsaddled camels. They are at last going to Madina but that very thought frightens them. Bibi Zainab thinks: 'What shall I say when they ask where is everyone?' Bibi Rubaab every so often screams out: "Oh Sakina! Oh Asghar! What shall I say to Fatimah Soghra?" Bibi Sughra (A.S) was another daughter of Imam Hussain (A.S), who was left in Madina due to her severe illness. She was also the sister of Hazrat Ali Akbar (A.S) who was brutally martyred in Karbala. Who then is the hero and who is the heroine of this journey? Yes, this journey has no hero and heroine. It has memories, fears, night-mares and tears. Few words are said. The thoughts which crowd in every mind are too heart rending to be spoken out. Ahl al Bait had become very weak and their bones were visible from their skins. As per medical expert opinion, it is not possible in one or two months to dissolve the flesh to such an extent that bones become visible, it requires months. Bibi Zainab embraced the grave of her brother Imam Hussain (A.S) and cried Wa Husaina! Bibi Zainab took out a tiny bundle. She lovingly opened it and placed Bibi Sakina's earrings on the grave saying: "Brother, do forgive me! This is all that is left of your darling Sakina!!" The ladies were weeping and wailing and Imam Zain ul 'Abideen was consoling them. He knew that a very difficult situation was yet to come! The first meeting with Bibi Fatimah Soghra! A heart rending Majlis commenced and the women from the adjacent of the site of the Qatalgah at Karbala joined them. They all mourned there for a few days. Finally, after saying goodbye to their martyrs they started the journey back to Madina. How sad this journey must have been. Even though they were free, their hearts were in Karbala and Syria. Bibi Zainab went up to Imam Zain ul 'Abideen and said, "My son, pray that Allah grant me courage to face Soghra! How shall I answer her questions?" Imam Zain ul 'Abideen replied, "May Allah grant you the patience of Fatimah Zahra and the courage of Ali." It was Nauman ibn Bashir who was assigned by the Umayyad power to take Ahl al Bait from Damascus to Madinah peacefully. Along with Nauman thirty men accompanied him. He used to travel at night while he himself remained behind them so he could keep an observation. When they stopped, he along with his companions, stayed with distance from them. He protected them and looked after their needs fairly until they reached Madinah. Nauman ibn Bashir al Ansari transmits, "When we reached near Madinah, Imam Ali Zain ul Abedeen (A.S) dismounted there and ordered to pitch two tents and instructed Bashir, "O ibn Bashir! Rahmah of Allah upon your father, he was a poet. Like your father, can you recite Marsiyah?" Nauman replied, "Yes, son of Rasulullah(PBUH)! I am also a poet". Imam directed him, "Then go to Madinah and announce the news of the Shahadah of Abu Abdullah al Husain". Nauman ibn Bashir narrated, "I mounted my horse and rushed, until I reached Madinah. When I reached Masjid un Nabavi, I couldn't control my sentiments and started crying and recited these verses, "O people of Yasrib! This place is not suitable for (your) living; Husain has been slaughtered for which my tears are flowing His body lies in Karbala tarnished in dust and blood; While his head was being displayed upon the pierce from place to place Ah!" Then he rejoined, "Ali ibn al Husain has reached outskirts of city of Madinah, along with his aunts and sisters. He has sent me so that I may introduce his Maqam (lofty status)" "Knowing this tragic news, all the veiled women of Muhallah Bani Hashim, Madinah ran out lamenting. I never witnessed such weeping before nor have I observed such a tragic time that has fallen upon the Muslims", narrated Nauman. "Then the people left me and ran towards the place. Muhammad bin Hanafiyyah, son of Amir al Muminin Ali when learnt about the arrival of the caravan, his distress was increased. At that time he was seriously ill, but he rushed towards the Imam." Nauman said, "then I mounted my horse and returned until I saw that the people had occupied all the roads and streets. I dismounted from my horse and tried to cross the people until I reached the tent." The people of Madinah had, of course, already heard of the tragedy of Karbala. They did not however, know the details or that young children had also been killed This announcement of Nauman added fuel to the fire, and the entire city of Madinah was now in filled with Sadness. The arrival of the caravan of the Ahl al Bait presented moving scenes. They came to Imam Ali Zain al Abedeen (A.S) and the ladies went to the tent where Bibi Zainab (A.S) and the other Syedaat were presented. The Syedaat in particular were so much exhausted at returning to their home town Madinah that they didn't control their sentiments. Voice of their Nuha was so much that it could be heard from long distance. Suddenly someone spotted Bibi Fatimah Soghra coming. She was supported on one side by Umme Salmah and on the other by Ummul Baneen. Bibi Zainab prayed to Allah for courage. she put on her chaadar and went out to meet Soghra. Neither could utter a word. Bibi Zainab put her arms around Bibi Fatimah Soghra and brought her inside the tent. Soghra looked around searching every corner."Where is my sister Sakina?" she cried, "Sakina come over, let your older sister embrace you and give you condolences!" At this there was renewed weeping and wailing. Who could possible have the courage to tell Soghra where Bibi Sakina was? Oh God! Soghra now looked at the lap of Bibi Rubaab, She did not find there whom she was looking for! Then she looked at the lap of each of the other ladies. She could not see what she was looking for. Then she looked outside lest the young child she was looking for had crawled out! Frightened of what Soghra might ask, Bibi Zainab asked for Imam Zain ul 'Abideen to come over. Our fourth Imam came. He put his arms around Soghra. In between sobs he said, "Soghra, Oh my dear sister, have patience! Asghar is lying in a grave in Karbala'." Bibi Fatimah Soghra stared at her elder brother Imam Zainul Abedin (A.S) in absolute disbelief! And then she screamed and fell unconscious! Imam Zainul Abedin (A.S) came outside wiping his tears with a handkerchief. A servant followed him carrying a chair and placed it down and Imam sat upon it. His tears were constantly flowing while the voices of lamenting of men increased and women started wailing. Sermon of Imam Zainul Abedin (A.S) Imam (A.S) instructed the mourners to remain silent and the voices of lamenting ceased. Then he said, "All praise is to the Lord of the worlds. The Master of the day of Qiyamah. The Creator of all creation. By the Lord whose understanding is far away and who is so near so as to hear the secrets (of his slaves). I praise Him upon the serious episode and the disasters of time, and upon the severity of grief and bitter taste of tragedies, and the great sorrow and grand grief, heartrending and afflicting hardships. O people! Verily Allah, the worthy of praise, tried us by means of great sorrows while a deep fissure manifested in Islam. Abu Abdullah al Husain and his family were slaughtered, while his women and children were driven in captivity. His head was paraded in the cities upon the lance, while this disaster is incomparable. O people! Which of your men would delight after his death, and which of your hearts would not scorch for him? Which of your eyes would spare it of tears, and which of you would restrain yourself from beating your faces? Seven elevated heavens wept upon his Shahadah, while the rivers along with their waves, the heavens along with their pillars, the earth along with her outskirts, and the trees along with their branches, the fishes of the oceans and their depths, the Malaek in proximity (to Allah), as also all the dwellers of the heavens lamenting upon him. O people! What hearts are there that would not rip upon his Shahadah? And what consciences are there that would not scorch upon it? And what ears are there that would not turn deaf when they witness this fissure manifested in Islam? O people! We were driven forth and paraded from far and near the cities as if we were the children of Turks or Afghan descent, without having committed a crime or performed evil deeds, nor are we one of those who have created the fissure in Islam. Never did we even hear such thing from our ancient forefathers, this is nothing but new. Wallah! If Rasulullah, instead of making recommendations for us, had entrusted them to fight us, they would not have done to us any more harm than what they already have done. Verily we are for Allah's, and verily to Him shall we return. What a severe, painful, tragic, grievous, sorrowful, heartrending and bitter was the trouble that we witnessed and bore. We offer it to Allah's account, the Mighty, the Avenger". Buka of Zainab at the grave of grandfather, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Saheb al Maqtal says that Bibi Zainab (A.S) caught hold of a pair of the doors of the Masjid an Nabavi and called out "O grandfather! I inform you about the (tragic) death of my brother Husain". After submitting this tears of Zainab started flowing and she could not control her weeping. Each time when her sight fell upon Al Imam Ali ibn al Husain (A.S), her grief increased. Zainab sat by the grave of her grandfather and complained, with tears in her eyes "O my Grandfather! Look at what Yazid and his solders committed to your Grandchildren. They slaughtered your most beloved Grandson, Abi Abdillah al Husain. They killed Abil Fazlil Abbas, when he went to get water for Sakina. They killed Ali Akbar, whose face resembled you. They killed sons of Hasan, Qasim and Abdullah. They killed my sons Aun and Muhammad. They didn't even leave infant Ali Asghar. O my dear Grandfather! One of your beloved grand daughters was also departed in the dark prison of Syria." The tears we shed and the maatam we perform will be little more than hypocrisy if we allow ourselves to forget the message of Karbala' until next 'ashra al-Muharram. If we do so we shall be guilty of having insulted the martyrs in such a manner that our Imam will never forgive us. We must remember that mourning for the martyrs is not a ritual we have to perform. We do so out of love for them and to keep their memory alive so that people everywhere in every age will remember what our Imam lived and died for. From the day he left Madina on the 28th Rajab in 60 Hijrah, at every stage, our Imam made his mission clear. He left no doubt as to his intentions. It was not to fight Yazid to get the throne of the empire over which the khalifah ruled. Imam's mission was to reawaken the spirit of Islam and rekindle the Islamic conscience which was nearing extinction by the conduct of Muawiya and Yazid. Justice and morality were gradually being destroyed by the greed for land and power of those who had become rulers. Where Quraan insists that distinction can be accorded by piety alone, aristocracy based on nepotism and blood relationship was reigning the social order. After seven days of majaalis in Damascus, Bibi Zainab asked Imam Zain ul 'Abideen whether they could now proceed to Karbala'. Preparations for the journey began. Mehmils with black curtains were arranged for the ladies. Imam Zain ul 'Abideen and Bibi Zainab helped the ladies to mount the mehmils. Suddenly Bibi Zainab noticed that Bibi Rubaab was missing. For a moment there was a panic but soon Bibi Zainab said, "I know where Rubaab is!" Accompanied by Imam Zain ul 'Abideen Bibi Zainab went to the prison. There, with her face on Bibi Sakina's grave, was Bibi Rubaab. Bibi Zainab said to her, 'Rubaab, let us go home!' 'Home?' replied Bibi Rubaab, 'My husband lies at Karbala', my Asghar lies there also. At least he has his father to look after him. Who will look after my Sakina? Khuda Hafiz, Bibi. You go, I will stay here. ' Bibi Rubaab is the lady whose world had been totally shattered. It was after great persuasion she got up to go, She walked slowly to the door supported by Imam Zain ul 'Abideen, all the time looking at the grave. Finally she said "Khuda Hafiz my Sakina!!" So began the last journey of tears. This was to take them first to Karbala' and then back home to Madina. How different is this journey from that first journey from Madina to Mecca? How many had left Madina and how many are going back? Where are all those children who at every stop would gather around Hazrat Abbas? There were over fifty children in the caravan then. Now barely twenty are returning to Madina. The rest lie in Karbala' or along the route Karbala' to Kufa and Kufa to Shaam. And where is Bibi Sakina with her chatter and smile? She is on everyone's mind. Zain ul 'Abideen tearfully says farewell to the prison were lies buried his darling sister. Of course, unlike during their journeys from Karbala' to Kufa and Kufa to Shaam, this time the ladies are not bare headed nor are they mounted on unsaddled camels. They are at last going to Madina but that very thought frightens them. Bibi Zainab thinks: 'What shall I say when they ask where is everyone?' Bibi Rubaab every so often screams out: "Oh Sakina! Oh Asghar! What shall I say to Fatimah Soghra?" Bibi Sughra (A.S) was another daughter of Imam Hussain (A.S), who was left in Madina due to her severe illness. She was also the sister of Hazrat Ali Akbar (A.S) who was brutally martyred in Karbala. Who then is the hero and who is the heroine of this journey? Yes, this journey has no hero and heroine. It has memories, fears, night-mares and tears. Few words are said. The thoughts which crowd in every mind are too heart rending to be spoken out. Ahl al Bait had become very weak and their bones were visible from their skins. As per medical expert opinion, it is not possible in one or two months to dissolve the flesh to such an extent that bones become visible, it requires months. Bibi Zainab embraced the grave of her brother Imam Hussain (A.S) and cried Wa Husaina! Bibi Zainab took out a tiny bundle. She lovingly opened it and placed Bibi Sakina's earrings on the grave saying: "Brother, do forgive me! This is all that is left of your darling Sakina!!" The ladies were weeping and wailing and Imam Zain ul 'Abideen was consoling them. He knew that a very difficult situation was yet to come! The first meeting with Bibi Fatimah Soghra! A heart rending Majlis commenced and the women from the adjacent of the site of the Qatalgah at Karbala joined them. They all mourned there for a few days. Finally, after saying goodbye to their martyrs they started the journey back to Madina. How sad this journey must have been. Even though they were free, their hearts were in Karbala and Syria. Bibi Zainab went up to Imam Zain ul 'Abideen and said, "My son, pray that Allah grant me courage to face Soghra! How shall I answer her questions?" Imam Zain ul 'Abideen replied, "May Allah grant you the patience of Fatimah Zahra and the courage of Ali." It was Nauman ibn Bashir who was assigned by the Umayyad power to take Ahl al Bait from Damascus to Madinah peacefully. Along with Nauman thirty men accompanied him. He used to travel at night while he himself remained behind them so he could keep an observation. When they stopped, he along with his companions, stayed with distance from them. He protected them and looked after their needs fairly until they reached Madinah. Nauman ibn Bashir al Ansari transmits, "When we reached near Madinah, Imam Ali Zain ul Abedeen (A.S) dismounted there and ordered to pitch two tents and instructed Bashir, "O ibn Bashir! Rahmah of Allah upon your father, he was a poet. Like your father, can you recite Marsiyah?" Nauman replied, "Yes, son of Rasulullah(PBUH)! I am also a poet". Imam directed him, "Then go to Madinah and announce the news of the Shahadah of Abu Abdullah al Husain". Nauman ibn Bashir narrated, "I mounted my horse and rushed, until I reached Madinah. When I reached Masjid un Nabavi, I couldn't control my sentiments and started crying and recited these verses, "O people of Yasrib! This place is not suitable for (your) living; Husain has been slaughtered for which my tears are flowing His body lies in Karbala tarnished in dust and blood; While his head was being displayed upon the pierce from place to place Ah!" Then he rejoined, "Ali ibn al Husain has reached outskirts of city of Madinah, along with his aunts and sisters. He has sent me so that I may introduce his Maqam (lofty status)" "Knowing this tragic news, all the veiled women of Muhallah Bani Hashim, Madinah ran out lamenting. I never witnessed such weeping before nor have I observed such a tragic time that has fallen upon the Muslims", narrated Nauman. "Then the people left me and ran towards the place. Muhammad bin Hanafiyyah, son of Amir al Muminin Ali when learnt about the arrival of the caravan, his distress was increased. At that time he was seriously ill, but he rushed towards the Imam." Nauman said, "then I mounted my horse and returned until I saw that the people had occupied all the roads and streets. I dismounted from my horse and tried to cross the people until I reached the tent." The people of Madinah had, of course, already heard of the tragedy of Karbala. They did not however, know the details or that young children had also been killed This announcement of Nauman added fuel to the fire, and the entire city of Madinah was now in filled with Sadness. The arrival of the caravan of the Ahl al Bait presented moving scenes. They came to Imam Ali Zain al Abedeen (A.S) and the ladies went to the tent where Bibi Zainab (A.S) and the other Syedaat were presented. The Syedaat in particular were so much exhausted at returning to their home town Madinah that they didn't control their sentiments. Voice of their Nuha was so much that it could be heard from long distance. Suddenly someone spotted Bibi Fatimah Soghra coming. She was supported on one side by Umme Salmah and on the other by Ummul Baneen. Bibi Zainab prayed to Allah for courage. she put on her chaadar and went out to meet Soghra. Neither could utter a word. Bibi Zainab put her arms around Bibi Fatimah Soghra and brought her inside the tent. Soghra looked around searching every corner."Where is my sister Sakina?" she cried, "Sakina come over, let your older sister embrace you and give you condolences!" At this there was renewed weeping and wailing. Who could possible have the courage to tell Soghra where Bibi Sakina was? Oh God! Soghra now looked at the lap of Bibi Rubaab, She did not find there whom she was looking for! Then she looked at the lap of each of the other ladies. She could not see what she was looking for. Then she looked outside lest the young child she was looking for had crawled out! Frightened of what Soghra might ask, Bibi Zainab asked for Imam Zain ul 'Abideen to come over. Our fourth Imam came. He put his arms around Soghra. In between sobs he said, "Soghra, Oh my dear sister, have patience! Asghar is lying in a grave in Karbala'." Bibi Fatimah Soghra stared at her elder brother Imam Zainul Abedin (A.S) in absolute disbelief! And then she screamed and fell unconscious! Imam Zainul Abedin (A.S) came outside wiping his tears with a handkerchief. A servant followed him carrying a chair and placed it down and Imam sat upon it. His tears were constantly flowing while the voices of lamenting of men increased and women started wailing. Sermon of Imam Zainul Abedin (A.S) Imam (A.S) instructed the mourners to remain silent and the voices of lamenting ceased. Then he said, "All praise is to the Lord of the worlds. The Master of the day of Qiyamah. The Creator of all creation. By the Lord whose understanding is far away and who is so near so as to hear the secrets (of his slaves). I praise Him upon the serious episode and the disasters of time, and upon the severity of grief and bitter taste of tragedies, and the great sorrow and grand grief, heartrending and afflicting hardships. O people! Verily Allah, the worthy of praise, tried us by means of great sorrows while a deep fissure manifested in Islam. Abu Abdullah al Husain and his family were slaughtered, while his women and children were driven in captivity. His head was paraded in the cities upon the lance, while this disaster is incomparable. O people! Which of your men would delight after his death, and which of your hearts would not scorch for him? Which of your eyes would spare it of tears, and which of you would restrain yourself from beating your faces? Seven elevated heavens wept upon his Shahadah, while the rivers along with their waves, the heavens along with their pillars, the earth along with her outskirts, and the trees along with their branches, the fishes of the oceans and their depths, the Malaek in proximity (to Allah), as also all the dwellers of the heavens lamenting upon him. O people! What hearts are there that would not rip upon his Shahadah? And what consciences are there that would not scorch upon it? And what ears are there that would not turn deaf when they witness this fissure manifested in Islam? O people! We were driven forth and paraded from far and near the cities as if we were the children of Turks or Afghan descent, without having committed a crime or performed evil deeds, nor are we one of those who have created the fissure in Islam. Never did we even hear such thing from our ancient forefathers, this is nothing but new. Wallah! If Rasulullah, instead of making recommendations for us, had entrusted them to fight us, they would not have done to us any more harm than what they already have done. Verily we are for Allah's, and verily to Him shall we return. What a severe, painful, tragic, grievous, sorrowful, heartrending and bitter was the trouble that we witnessed and bore. We offer it to Allah's account, the Mighty, the Avenger". Buka of Zainab at the grave of grandfather, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Saheb al Maqtal says that Bibi Zainab (A.S) caught hold of a pair of the doors of the Masjid an Nabavi and called out "O grandfather! I inform you about the (tragic) death of my brother Husain". After submitting this tears of Zainab started flowing and she could not control her weeping. Each time when her sight fell upon Al Imam Ali ibn al Husain (A.S), her grief increased. Zainab sat by the grave of her grandfather and complained, with tears in her eyes "O my Grandfather! Look at what Yazid and his solders committed to your Grandchildren. They slaughtered your most beloved Grandson, Abi Abdillah al Husain. They killed Abil Fazlil Abbas, when he went to get water for Sakina. They killed Ali Akbar, whose face resembled you. They killed sons of Hasan, Qasim and Abdullah. They killed my sons Aun and Muhammad. They didn't even leave infant Ali Asghar. O my dear Grandfather! One of your beloved grand daughters was also departed in the dark prison of Syria." The tears we shed and the maatam we perform will be little more than hypocrisy if we allow ourselves to forget the message of Karbala' until next 'ashra al-Muharram. If we do so we shall be guilty of having insulted the martyrs in such a manner that our Imam will never forgive us. We must remember that mourning for the martyrs is not a ritual we have to perform. We do so out of love for them and to keep their memory alive so that people everywhere in every age will remember what our Imam lived and died for.
