The way British media covers a Muslim disabled man and a non Muslim disabled famous athlete is starkly different.
Oscar pistorius a South African World renowned athlete on trial for shooting his girlfriend is respected and seen as a hero for his amputee disability whereas Abu Hamzah is portrayed as 'captain hook' even through he is not responsible or accused of killing anyone.
Just a small contrast of islamophobic coverage in the media, Muslims are a fair target for ridiculing even if they are disabled! There would be outcry from people if newspapers started mocking disabled athletes or tv figures EVEN if they were suspected criminals. But sadly these rules do not apply to Muslims, particularly those portrayed as religious 'bad guys'.

Abu Abdullāh (as) sagte: Imām Alī (as) hat das Mittagsgebet ohne Wudu gebetet (unabsichtlich). Danach sagten die (die anwesend waren): "Oh ihr Menschen Amīr Al-Mu'mīnīn hat das Gebet ohne Wudu verrichtet, wiederholt euer Gebet und sagt denen bescheid die nicht anwesend waren."

Und wie viele Propheten kämpften gegen (einen Feind,) gefolgt von vielen Gottesfürchtigen. Aber sie verzagten nicht bei dem, was sie auf Allahs Weg traf, und sie wurden weder schwach noch ließen sie sich demütigten. Und Allah liebt die Geduldigen.
Und ihr Wort war nicht anders, als das sie sagten: "Unser Herr, vergib uns unsre Sünden und unser Vergehen in unserer Sache; und festige unsere Schritte und hilf uns gegen das ungläubige Volk."
Und Allah gab ihnen den Lohn dieser Welt und den schönsten Lohn des Jenseits. Und Allah liebt diejenigen, die Gutes tun.

I did not make this video, nor did I follow its development or see its final shape; but I see it not as a preachy film but as a kind of informal guerrilla documentary capturing a moment in the development of the Muslim community here as it actually is. Questions of divine law, which, believe it or not, do matter to the neglected and abandoned young, are non-negotiable of course. In this case, observing the people known to me, I see only married couples together, or siblings or families. I can't see any exceptions. May Allah preserve us from ugly suspicion! Regarding the music, I personally do not use instrumental music; but I would like to see a fully-reasoned fatwa about musical sounds produced digitally by synthesisers: do they count as the ma'azif which are surely forbidden in the sound hadiths? If so, are doorbells, or harmonised ringtones, ma'azif? What about a voice which is trained to sound exactly like a trombone? Personally I don't know. Once we have some sort of consensus on synthesisers then the ijtihad discussion about this clip can begin. It will be interesting. May Allah grant us all basira to serve His din and remember Him in all times and places. Amin!"
