I see this saying of R.I.P "Rest In Peace" for the death of a non-Muslim as one of the major fitnahs of our time: the "need" for Muslims to want to "fit in", or their weakness with respect to their own 'aqidah, or their ignorance of what Allah jalla wa 'ala teaches us in the Qur'an, or their ignorance of the Seerah of the Prophet (sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam). To say RIP or Rest in Peace was originally a Catholic du'a for their dead, and stems from the latin "May his soul and the souls of all the departed faithful by God's mercy rest in peace." and indicates a request to God to allow that soul peace in the afterlife. This original meaning doesn't change just because now every Tom, **** and Patel uses the term for anyone who dies. It's meaning is it's meaning because it is never used for anything outside of showing sorry over someone's death, and Muslims do the same for those souls who deserve such a du'a i.e. Believers. The issue is that Muslims are strictly prohibited for making such a du'a for someone who dies upon kufr (Steve Jobs was a Buddhist and we judge upon the apparent, not dream about the hidden or make extravagant irrational connections between him and his Muslim father). This is a matter of consensus amongst the scholars, because Allah forbade His Prophet from doing the same as He forbade Sayyidina Ibrahim the same, and He said in the Qur'an, "And the intercession of the Intercessors will not benefit them" and He said, "Not even if you seek forgiveness for them seventy times" and He said, "Verily, those who disbelieve and die, and they are still disbelievers then the curse of Allah, the Angels and all of mankind is upon them" and He says, "Whoever takes partners alongside Allah then of a surety Allah has made Paradise impossible/impermissible for him and his abode shall be the Fire" and so many more evidences. And any argument that "we don't intend any of that by saying RIP, we're just being polite/expressing our sadness" is just ridiculous and indeed shows that ignorance I mentioned above of what people will justify to themselves just to fit in. RIP will always mean that you wish peace for a non-Muslim when Allah jalla wa 'ala has decided otherwise. DECIDED that is (based upon their death) not something up in the air or not. Of course, this is after their death. Whilst they are alive, we can desire and seek guidance for them and wish and request that their souls do indeed rest in peace by accepting the rights due to the One true God whilst they are still alive. And of course we can and should show sadness and regret for the loss of our loved ones or admired ones, whatever their religion. But don't lose YOURS over that loss. That's all. Wallahu a'lam. It shows explicitly the warning for speaking against Islamic shar`iah, Allah , his deen or his messengers, so as to avail a favour from them (the kuffar), either for their throne, or for their businesses, or for their riches and luxury, job and fame or etc. Inventing A lie against Allah and his deen is as severe as this that Allah (s.w.t) even warned our beloved prophet (s.a.w) so sternly. Double will be the punishment of those orators, khateeb's, mawlana's, rulers, businessmen, etc who invent a lie against this deen so as to have the favour from the kuffar. What a dangerous warning Indeed for those modernists and munafiqeen who openly proclaim how such and such is not from the deen, how this verse of women inheritance is wrongly understood, how this is not islam and that is islam. ÄGYPTEN UND DIE ISLAMISCHE WELT
Die paradoxe Haltung des Westens zur politischen Situation in Ägypten, hatte man doch den demokratisch gewählten Muhammad Mursi durch einen Militärputsch, wie er im Buche steht, gestürzt und ins Gefängnis geworfen und zu Tode verurteilt. Seine Anhänger sind der Verfolgung, Folter und Ermordung ausgesetzt. Ägypten ist damit zur klassischen Militärdiktatur geworden, ohne dass der Westen diese politische Entwicklung zum Anlass von Kritik oder der Drohung mit Intervention zugunsten des inhaftierten Mursi und seiner Anhänger genommen hätte. Anstelle des Protestes kam von westlicher Seite die Begründung, dass die islamische Welt noch nicht für die Demokratie reif sei. So schüren die Medien seither gekonnt die Angst vor den "Islamisten", die in Ägypten die unsichere politische Lage ausgenutzt und Armee und Polizei angegriffen hätten.
Der Grund für die Haltung des demokratischen Westens zur Militärdiktatur in Ägypten liegt auf der Hand: Diese braucht keine Rücksicht auf demokratische Werte zu nehmen und kann mit aller Härte gegen die Muslime vorgehen, um den sich im Vormarsch befindenden Islam zurückzudrängen. Mursi wäre dazu nicht geeignet gewesen und so musste er neben seinem undemokratischen Abgang eben auch Platz für die Militärdiktatur machen. Daher verwundert es nicht, dass Armeechef Abdel Fattah as-Sisi, der im neuen, alten Ägypten die Zügel in Händen hält, nicht nur gute Verbindungen zur Führung der US-Armee, sondern auch zum Pentagon unterhält.
Wie unreflektiert die Medien das politische Geschehen wiedergeben und die Öffentlichkeit die Berichterstattung aufnimmt, zeigt sich auch am Beispiel Saudi-Arabiens. Kürzlich wurde von der milliardenschweren Unterstützung Saudi-Arabiens an Ägypten berichtet. Warum sollte Saudi-Arabien, das offiziell die Shari'a umsetzt und vom Westen immer wieder beschuldigt wird, Al-Qaida, Salafisten und "Islamisten" finanziell zu unterstützen, Ägypten mehrere Milliarden Dollar zukommen lassen? War dem altersschwachen König etwa entgangen, dass das ägyptische Militär den Islamisten Mursi gestürzt, eine Hetzjagd gegen Muslime betrieben und sich zur Trennung von Politik und Religion bekannt hatte? Die saudische Finanzhilfe macht nur Sinn, wenn sich Saudi-Arabien entgegen des propagierten Bildes in die Schlange jener Länder in der islamischen Welt einreiht, die als westliches Bollwerk gegen den Islam dienen.
Diese und zahlreiche andere Beispiele belegen zweierlei: Zum einen ist den kapitalistischen Staaten des Westens hinter ihrem demokratischen Vorhang jedes auch noch so undemokratische Mittel recht, um ihre Interessen in der Welt durchzusetzen. Zum anderen wird deutlich, dass die "islamistische" Welt eine Erfindung des Westens ist, um – in Abgrenzung zum alles Übel dieser Welt verursachenden Islam – die heilsbringende Demokratie zu karikieren. Der Westen pfeift auf Demokratie und Freiheit, wenn es darum geht, wirtschaftlichen und politischen Einfluss in der Welt zu gewinnen, diesen aufrechtzuerhalten und auszuweiten. Für seine kapitalistischen Motive verkauft man seine demokratische Seele gern.
Und es ist mehr als deutlich, dass die Herrscher die Marionetten des Westens in unseren Ländern schlichtweg kein Interesse daran haben, unsere Geschwister von der Ungerichtigkeit zu befreien. Ihre Herzen sind verhärtet, und ihr Gehör vernimmt die Schreie der Muslime nicht, die unter dem Bombenhagel, Massakers, Verfolgung, Verhaftungen, Vergewaltigungen und Tötungen bitter erleiden. Ihre Liebe zur Dunya hat die Verräter fest im Griff, ebenso wie ihre Herren in Washington und London oder Paris. Alle Verräter in unseren islamischen Ländern müssen angeprangert werden und von ihren Stühlen sofort verschwinden ,um an ihrer statt einen Kalifen einzusetzen, der den Tadel eines Tadelnden in Allah (s.w.t.) nicht fürchtet. Ein Führer der Gläubigen, der nur die Begegnung mit Allah fürchtet und die islamischen Armeen entsendet in jene Richtung, wo die Muslime in Not sind, auf dass die Muslime endlich wieder in Schutz und Würde leben dürfen, und auf dass der Boden der Muslime vom Schmutz der Ungerechten befreit wird.

فيقاتل المجاهدون ويقدمون دمائهم وأرواحهم في نصرة هذا الدين ودفاعا عن العرض والنفس
ثم يأتي هو ويضع شعار كتيبتة على الفيديو ويحمله على قناته ثم يجلس وراء مكتبة ويرابط في مقره ويتفاخر ويتباهى بأنه هو من قاد هذة المعركة وحررها
