Brüder und Schwestern in einigen Gelehrtenkreisen haben sich Aussagen wie diese ein wenig zu sehr zu Herzen genommen und sie somit unrechtmäßig ausgenutzt. Einige haben versucht, solch große Imame herabzusetzen und zu beleidigen, indem sie sie des Unwissens und Mangels an Qualifikation beschuldigten, während andere „stärkere" Beweise gegen ihren Imam vorbrachten und gegen sein Urteil handelten, aber gleichzeitig behaupteten, Anhänger des Imams zu sein. Dies ist eine Erklärung zu dieser Aussage dieser respektablen Imame von Professor Abd Al-Hakim Murad zitieren, welcher sagt: „Es ist offensichtlich, unabhängig davon, was einige heute glauben möchten, dass solche Ratschläge für die fortgeschrittenen Schüler der Imame gedacht waren und niemals für die islamisch ungebildeten Massen. Imam Al-Schafi'i hat nicht einen Haufen von Metzgern, Nachtwächtern und Eselstreibern angesprochen." Die ehrenwerten Imame waren sich alle bewusst, was sie taten und was das Ergebnis ihrer Aussagen ist, was der Grund ist, warum sie immer vorsichtig waren. Wenn wir den Aussagen der ungebildeten Massen folgen würden, dass wir nach Ahadith suchen sollen, die ihre Lehren gehen, so würde die Schari'a auf nichts weiter als einen Witz reduziert. Es wäre eine Beleidigung, nicht nur der respektablen Imame, sondern des Islam selbst. Ein Beispiel dafür wären die Versuche Nasiruddin Al Albani, er versuchte, viele der Ahadith des Gesandten Allahs sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, die in den verschiedenen Büchern der Autoritäten stehen, ins Lächerliche zu ziehen, indem er sie für schwach erklärte, ihre Überlieferer in den Ketten für inakzeptabel oder gar unbekannt erklärte. Viele gegenwärtige Gelehrte haben Herrn Al Albani wegen seines Mangels an Qualifikation und seiner verantwortungslosen Fehlurteile auf diesem Gebiet angegriffen, wo doch strengste Genauigkeit und ehrliche Nachforschungen hier so notwendig sind. Ähnliche Versuche werden von La-Madhhabi Personen (diejenigen, welche keiner bestimmten Rechtsschule angehören) gemacht, aber diese Versuche waren dazu da, um sich über das angewandte islamische Gesetz, die Schari'a, lustig zu machen. Es gab viele muslimische Gelehrte und Experten höchsten Kalibers und alle sind standhaft auf einer bestimmten Madhhab geblieben, bei ihrem bestimmten Imam.
