KABUL, Dec. 27 – A courageous Mujahid of the martyr unit of the Islamic Emirate single-handedly killed at least 12 US-NATO terrorist troops when he slammed his corolla filled with explosive into the convoy of the foreign invading army in the heart of Kabul city, the Afghan capital today.
Early this afternoon at around 01:00 pm local time, a lone Mujahid of the Islamic Emirate, Habeeb-ur-Raman resident of Kunduz province drove his explosive-laden car towards the heavily-guarded convoy of the US-NATO forces while it was passing an area about a half mile from Camp Phoenix and rammed it into the convoy, said a Zabihullah Mujahid.
The blast was enormous enough to smash four Land Cruiser SUV vehicles traveling in the convoy into pieces, inflicting multiple fatalities on the enemy, Mujahid added.
The area was soon cordoned off by the enemy forces. However, remains of the destroyed vehicles and the fleshes and mutilated parts of the invaders strew across the road where the incident occurred.

HUMAN TRAFFICKING: MUSLIM WOMEN VULNERABLE IN MYANMAR
Amid continued communal strife in Myanmar, Muslim women and children are increasingly finding themselves in vulnerable situations that have yet to be adequately recognized and addressed. This post glimpses the related issue of human trafficking.
By way of background, Burma's record on human trafficking has prompted the United States to place it on a Tier 2 Watch List for the past two years. The Watch List is reserved for countries that fail to comply with minimum standards -- from preventing trafficking to investigating and prosecuting perpetrators of the crime to protecting victims -- as set forth in the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA).
In Myanmar, security forces have subjected both Muslim men and women to forced labor. Women, however, have been reportedly forced into prostitution and other forms of slavery as well. In fact, according to a U.S. Department of State 2012 human rights report, Burmese officials have reportedly kidnapped Rohingya women and forced them into slavery on military bases.
Burmese security forces also systematically rape and assault women and girls which also contributes to human trafficking and exploitation.
Representative are experiences like Sakinah Kahtu's, an 18-year-old Rohingya girl forced to leave her village in Rakhine State due to worsening sectarian violence to travel with human traffickers by sea to Malaysia together with other fleeing Muslims.
Her parents feared that if she remained, the Burmese security forces might sexually assault her, as they have a number of others, or may otherwise subject her to forced labor. In hopes of securing her safety, they paid traffickers nearly $300 to transport her to Malaysia.
Kahtu travelled by sea for 15 days in a vessel that carried approximately 500 passengers, including 60 women and children. She received one meal per day during her ordeal. Prior to arriving in Malaysia, however, Kahtu's traffickers detained her in Thailand for three days.
There, a stranger and fellow Rohingya paid $2,520 to secure her release and complete her journey to Malaysia. In return, Kahtu's fellow villagers allowed the young man to wed her.
Notably, many do not make it to their ultimate destination because they are arrested en route and detained by authorities in Thailand. Women and children detained at government run detention centers remain vulnerable to traffickers who have gained access to the buildings, where detainees should theoretically enjoy official protection.
Such traffickers may promise detainees reunification with family members, but after smuggling them out of the centers, rape the unsuspecting victim(s).
Such human rights violations have penetrated Myanmar's borders with neighboring countries, such as Thailand and Bangladesh, in other ways as well. Both countries have been forced to absorb the swelling numbers of Rohingya refugees fleeing widespread and systematic religious and ethnic persecution in their native land. These refugees include increasing numbers of women and children.
Indeed, anti-Muslim sectarian clashes initially resulted in thousands of Rohingya men fleeing Burma in search of work and refuge; however, with communal violence escalating since June 2012, Rohingya women have begun fleeing the country together with their babies and children.
Illustrative is the sectarian violence that afflicted Myanmar's Arakan State in June 2012, leaving tens of thousands of Rohingya men, women and children displaced. According to Human Rights Watch, as many as 35,000 Rohingya fled Myanmar as a result.
In fact, between June 2012 and May 2013, the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) found approximately 27,000 people fled Myanmar. To help place these figures in proper perspective, during the same time period one year earlier in 2011, an estimated 9,000 people are believed to have fled.
Moreover, approximately one-half of those leaving Rakhine State's capital, Sittwe, where living conditions have worsened with many living in squalid displacement camps, are women and children. Pursuant to the discriminatory 1982 Citizenship Act, the Burmese government does not recognize them as citizens and deprives them of proper identification documents. Given their "stateless" status, women and children are highly vulnerable to trafficking and exploitation.
Unfortunately, notwithstanding all of this, Thai and Burmese efforts to combat trafficking have been less than vigilant. For example, the Thai government has not investigated or prosecuted trafficking gangs and they continue to operate with impunity. Nor have Thai officials determined why traffickers can access women and children in the detention centers described above.
Thailand should exercise much more vigilance in identifying, investigating and prosecuting all those that facilitate trafficking. In the instance of organized criminal elements, officials should trace, freeze and confiscate related proceeds and provide unconditional assistance to victims regardless of their citizenship status or religious or ethnic identities. Thai officials should also address the demand-side factors contributing to the exploitation of women and children within their borders.
As to Myanmar, it prohibits human trafficking vis-à-vis its 2005 Anti-Trafficking in Persons Law. But, its efforts to combat trafficking internally have been lacking, as evidenced by the egregious conduct of its own security forces depicted further above.
Moreover, Myanmar will remain a source country supplying prospective trafficking victims (fleeing religious and ethnic persecution) until it effectively addresses the underlying causes of persistent communal violence and abject poverty confronting its minority Muslim population.
As articulated by U.S. House Resolution 418, introduced by U.S. Congressman James McGovern (D-MA), Burma must end its persecution of all Rohingya people.
Indeed, the country's credibility as an aspiring democracy is interconnected with the status of the very population it continues to persecute.

قتيبة بن مسلم أسطورة الفتح الإسلامي
يس من قبيل المبالغة أن يطلق على القائد "قتيبة بن المسلم الباهلي" العديد من الألقاب تكريمًا له، وذلك نظرًا للإنجازات المذهلة التي حققها في الفتح الإسلامي، والتي جعلت منه فاتح المشرق الإسلامي، فقد وصل بفتوحاته إلى الصين، وهي الفتوحات التي كانت السبب في دخول الكثير من الأقوام في دين الله تعالى لما رأوا في شخصية الفاتحين وقائدهم تجسيدًا لعظمة الدين الإسلامي.
فمن "كبير المجاهدين" إلى "عملاق الفتوح"، تتوالى الألقاب على ذلك القائد المسلم، الذي صار اسمه علمًا على الفاتحين المسلمين لدرجة أن البعض لقب "طارق بن زياد" فاتح الأندلس باسم "قتيبة المغرب"، وليس هناك دليل على عظم قدر "قتيبة" أكثر من ذلك اللقب, وبالتالي صار من حق ذلك الفاتح العظيم أن يلقى بالضوء على حياته لكي يرى المسلمون منها لمحات تؤكد أن لهذه الأمة الإسلامية من التاريخ ما يجعلها قادرة على تجاوز أية عثرات تمر بها.
بداية رحلة قتيبة بن مسلم الجهادية :
ولد هذا الفاتح العظيم في العام 48هـ, وفي بعض الأقوال 46 هـ، وقد كانت الفترة التي نشأ فيها فترة اضطراب سياسي عظيم في الدولة الإسلامية، وكان والده "مسلم بن عمرو" من الذين رافقوا "مصعب بن الزبير" الذي عينه "عبد الله بن الزبير" واليًا على العراق في تلك الفترة المضطربة من التاريخ الإسلامي.
وترجع بدايات الرحلة الجهادية لـ"قتيبة بن مسلم" عندما اختاره القائد الكبير "المهلب بن أبي صفرة" كواحد من خيرة المقاتلين، وأرسله إلى والي العراق آنذاك "الحجاج بن يوسف الثقفي"، فأخضعه للعديد من الاختبارات التي أثبتت بعد نظر "ابن أبي صفرة" في حنكة ومهارة "قتيبة" حيث ولاه "عبد الملك بن مروان" ولاية الري، التي أبلى فيها بلاء حسنًا، فما كان من "الحجاج" إلا أن جعله واليًا على إقليم خراسان في العام 86 هجرية، لينطلق محلقًا في سماء الفتوحات منذ ذلك الحين.
ويرجع السبب في أن ولاية خراسان كانت المنطلق الرئيسي في رحلة الفتوحات, أن هذه الولاية لم تكن مستقرة ولم تكن قد دانت كلها بالسيطرة للمسلمين، وبالتالي كانت في حاجة إلى الكثير من الجهد إما لاستكمال الفتوحات أو تأمين المناطق التي تم فتحها بالفعل.
ومن بين السمات التي ساعدت قتيبة في القيام بفتوحاته حنكته وخبرته بالرجال سواء بين الأصدقاء أو في أوساط الأعداء، فعندما أخبروه بأن تمردًا وقع في خراسان وأشير عليه بإسناد أمر إخماد التمرد للقائد "وكيع بن الأسود" الرجل الثاني في جيش "قتيبة"، رفض الفاتح قائلاً: إن وكيعًا به من الكبر ما قد يجعله يقلل من قدرات أعدائه، مما قد يجعلهم يأخذونه على غرة.
وهذا الموقف يشير إلى أن "قتيبة" كان حكيمًا في اختيار رجاله, فقد اختار مساعده من قبيلة بني تميم تلك القبيلة المتمرسة في القتال، والتي لعبت دورًا كبيرًا في الفتوح الإسلامية، إلا أنه رفض وضعه في موضع إخماد التمرد، مما يعني أنه كما يعرف للرجال مقدارهم فإنه يعرف قدراتهم.
وبالإضافة إلى ذلك، أفلت "قتيبة" من فخ أعده له أحد العملاء المزدوجين ويسمى "تندر" أو "تنذر"؛ فقد كان هذا الرجل عميلاً لدى "قتيبة" أثناء حصاره لمدينة تسمى بيكند كانت تتبع بخارى فقام أهل البلدة بتجنيد هذا العميل، فحاول إيهام "قتيبة" بأن "الحجاج بن يوسف" قد خلع من ولاية العراق لكي يدفع "قتيبة" لفك الحصار عن المدينة والعودة للعراق، إلا أن القائد المسلم أدرك بحنكته أن الرجل يكذب، فاستمر في حصار المدينة وأمر بقتل الخائن، وسرعان ما فتحت المدينة، بل وعادت على المسلمين بالمال الوفير الذي ساهم في الانطلاق نحو حدود الصين؛ لأن هذه المدينة كانت مهمة اقتصاديًّا وكان يطلق عليها "مدينة التجار".
كذلك كان يعرف كيفية دعم المقاتلين واختيار كل مقاتل للمهمة التي عليه القيام بها، فلكي يحفز المقاتلين على المزيد من الفتوحات، طلب من "الحجاج بن يوسف" أن يوزع الغنائم على المقاتلين المجاهدين للتخفيف من حدة ألمهم جراء الغربة وفراق الأهل، فوافق "الحجاج" مما كان له أكبر الأثر في دعم الروح المعنوية للجنود، ونفس الأسلوب اتبعه مع الرجال في فتح بخارى فنعود مرة أخرى إلى بيكند, حيث كان حكام المدينة قد حشدوا كل جيوشهم في معسكر واقع على نهر بالمدينة، فصار هذا المعسكر أمنع نقطة في المدينة وبالتالي كان اقتحامه يعني فتح المدينة، لكن القيام بهذه المهمة كان في نظر الكثيرين ضرب من المستحيل.
فما كان من قتيبة إلا أن اختار قبيلة بني تميم ذات الباع الطويل في القتال لكي تفتح تلك المدينة وتقتحم ذلك المعسكر الحصين، ونادى فيهم أن "من جاء برأس كافر فله 100 دينار"، كما أن "وكيعا"، قد دعا قومه -بني تميم- للانضمام إلى الجهاد مطلقًا صيحته الشهيرة: "من كان يريد الموت فليتبعني، ومن كان كارهًا فليثبت في مكانه"، وذلك حسب رواية "ابن أعثم"، مما كان له أكبر الأثر في سقوط المدينة ومن ثم فتح بخارى كلها، وكان ذلك في العام 87 هجرية.
الصين والأتراك :
واستمرت فتوحات "قتيبة بن مسلم الباهلي" في بلاد ما وراء النهر جيحون وسيحون، حتى استقر المقام للمسلمين هناك، ومن البلدات والمدن التي فتحها الطالقان والصغانيان وشومان وكفتان وسمرقند, وقد بلغ عظم فتوحاته مستوى جعل ملك الصين، مهاب الجانب في منطقته، يرسل بالهدايا إلى الفاتح العظيم حتى يدفعه إلى التراجع عن قسمه بأن يدخل المسلمون الصين، وأرسل له حفنة من تراب الصين ليطأها حتى يكون قد أبر بقسمه.
غير أن القائد العظيم لم يتراجع واستمر يقاتل في تلك المناطق، وراح يخطط لكي ينطلق من فرغانة -وهو إقليم يمتد حاليًا بين أوزبكستان وطاجكيستان وقرغيزيا- نحو فتح الصين كلها، إلا أن التغيرات السياسية التي وقعت في هذه الفترة عقب وفاة الخليفة الأموي الوليد بن عبد الملك وتولي "سليمان بن عبد الملك" من بعده، قد أطاحت بـ"قتيبة" من منصبه واليًا على خراسان ومن قيادة الجيش، ليتوقف عند التخوم الغربية للإمبراطورية الصينية، وتحديدًا عند منطقة كاشغر، التي تقع في تركستان الشرقية داخل حدود الصين الحالية.
وكان من بين الإيجابيات التي نجمت عن الفتوحات التي قادها "قتيبة بن مسلم" في تلك الأصقاع أن دخل الأتراك في الدين الإسلامي، فبعد أن دانت السيطرة للمسلمين على بلاد فارس، ودخل الفرس في دين الله في عهد الخلفاء الراشدين، دخل الأتراك في الإسلام على يد ذلك الفاتح العظيم، حيث كان نهر المرغاب هو الحد الفاصل بين الأتراك والفرس، فتجاوزه "قتيبة" في فتوحاته ودخل الأتراك الإسلام.
وأدى دخول الأتراك الإسلام إلى العديد من الفتوحات الرئيسية في تاريخ المسلمين بعد ذلك، ومن أبرز تلك الفتوحات ما قام به العثمانيون في أوربا من الوصول إلى حدود النمسا، والسيطرة على أجزاء كبيرة للغاية من القارة الأوربية، إلى جانب ما قامت به فروعهم من فتح الهند وغيرها من الفتوحات في آسيا الوسطى.
نهاية رحلة قتيبة بن مسلم :
وعلى الرغم مما يشاع عن أن "قتيبة" قد تمرد على الخليفة الأموي الجديد "سليمان بن عبد الملك" بسبب فتنة داخلية ضربت بين القبائل العربية في تلك الفترة، إلا أن هناك من الأقوال ما يشير إلى أنه لم يتمرد، وأن ما سرى من أنباء عن تمرده كان جزءًا من تلك الفتنة التي انتهى فصل من فصولها بمقتل "قتيبة بن مسلم" على يد الجيوش الموالية لـ"سليمان بن عبد الملك" في عام 96 هجرية/715 ميلادية، وهي الميتة التي أغضبت الجميع حتى أعداء "قتيبة"، فقال قائل: "يا معشر العرب قتلتم قتيبة، لو كان منا فمات فينا, جعلناه في تابوت, فكنا نستفتح به إذا غزونا".
إن لهذا الفاتح العظيم قصة صمود رائعة، اعتمد فيها على إيمانه بالله تعالى، الذي دفع الكثيرين من غير المسلمين إلى الدخول في دين الله بسبب عظم شخصية "قتيبة"، وكذلك على بسالته القتالية، وعقليته النادرة التي جعلته يتميز حتى عن قائده "المهلب بن أبي صفرة" في أن يضع لكل غزوة من غزواته، حتى وإن كانت محدودة الحجم، هدفًا محددًا يجب إنجازه وإن طال المطال بها، فيقال مثلاً إن حصاره لمدينة بيكند استمر شهرين كاملين، ولكنه لم ييأس وقاتل وانتصر بإذن الله.
لم يعتمد "قتيبة" على جاه ولا نسب، فقد كان ينتمي إلى قبيلة باهلة، وهي كانت في عرف عرب الجاهلية من أحط القبائل نسبًا، إلا أنه انتفض وشق طريقه، ولكنه في النهاية لم يلق تكريمًا إلا بالقتل في إطار تصفية حسابات داخلية، لكن يكفيه ما بدأنا به من أنه نال من الألقاب ما لم ينله فاتح آخر, كما يكفيه أن عرقًا كاملاً هو العرق التركي، بكل فروعه، قد دخل في الإسلام على يده.

■ Erdogan macht den Westen sprachlos!
Ministerpräsident Erdogan zeigt in der türkischen Regierungskrise seine mentale Distanz zu Europa. Der Konflikt mit dem Prediger Gülen offenbart die Islamisierung des Landes.
Wochenlang redeten sich Außenpolitikexperten die Köpfe heiß über die Ukraine und Russland und Chodorkowski und Putin. Doch dass in einem Nato-Land der Ministerpräsident die Botschafter von Nato-Verbündeten rauszuwerfen droht, dass er von "illegalen Banden" und einer „Verschwörung" ausländischer Mächte schwadroniert, weil eine ganze Reihe seiner Minister der schweren Korruption und Vetternwirtschaft angeklagt sind, und dass sein mächtigster Widersacher kein demokratischer Gegenkandidat, sondern ein islamistischer Prediger ist, der öffentlich wünscht, "Gott" möge "Feuer über die Heime" seiner Widersacher bringen, all das scheint der deutschen Öffentlichkeit ganz akzeptabel und keine Sorgen wert zu sein. Zumindest keine öffentlich vernehmbaren. Man scheint die Vorgänge so zu betrachten, wie die Spießbürger in Goethes „Faust", die entspannt am Fenster stehen und ein Glas Wein trinken, „wenn hinten, weit, in der Türkey, die Völker auf einander schlagen".
Das ist umso erstaunlicher, als nach Ansicht großer Teile des deutschen und europäischen Establishments dieses Land EU-Mitglied werden sollte. Dafür werden stets in erster Linie geostrategische Gründe angeführt – und die Hoffnung, dass allein schon der Beitrittsprozess die Türkei institutionell und mental zu einem europäischen Land machen werde.
Die Ereignisse der letzten Tage offenbaren aber deutlicher als jeder „Fortschrittsbericht" der Europäischen Kommission den aus westlicher Sicht besorgniserregenden Zustand des EU-Beitrittskandidaten. Sie legen offen, was bedeutsamer ist als Verfassungsartikel: der ganz und gar nicht zu Europa passende Zustand der politischen Kultur des Landes.
Die verbale Rohheit, mit der in der Türkei innenpolitische Konflikte ausgetragen werden, ist für den westlichen Betrachter befremdlich. Ein Bundeskanzler oder Président de la République, der wie Erdogan spräche, wäre völlig unhaltbar. Doch die Milde, mit der Europas Regierungen Erdogan begegnen, verhält sich umgekehrt proportional zu dessen Dreistigkeit, die er zum Beispiel mit seinem Auftritt vor zehntausenden Auslandstürken in Köln 2008 demonstrierte und jetzt mit dem Gerede von einer ausländischen Verschwörung auf die Spitze treibt. Wo bleiben die diplomatischen Proteste? Groß ist - zu Recht - die öffentliche Kritik an Putins autoritärem Regime in Russland, seinen außenpolitischen Drohgebärden und seiner Willkür gegen innenpolitische Gegner. Doch die voranschreitende Islamisierung der Türkei und die Selbstherrlichkeit Erdogans redet – oder schweigt - man sich in Europa schön.
Noch befremdlicher und besorgniserregender als die politische Sprache in der Türkei ist die Verbindung des Korruptionsskandals mit dem Machtkampf zwischen dem islamistischen Ministerpräsidenten Erdogan und dem Prediger Fethullah Gülen, der aus dem amerikanischen Exil mit seinem Privatschulimperium die Meinungsbildung von Millionen Türken beeinflusst. Dies zeigt, dass zumindest in den Köpfen sehr vieler Türken die Trennung von Religion und Politik weitgehend aufgehoben ist. Der Machtkampf ist auch einer um die religiöse Deutungshoheit. Und Atatürk rotiert im Grabe!
Für europäische Beobachter ist der Konflikt in und um die Ukraine als Betrachtungsgegenstand attraktiver: Es geht um die nackte politische Macht und wirtschaftliche Entwicklungsperspektiven. Putins Handeln ist zu verurteilen, aber es ist mit den säkularen Kategorien westlicher Analytiker zu begreifen. Der türkische Konflikt dagegen ist untrennbar verwoben mit islamischen Glaubensfragen: Da kämpft ein Ministerpräsident, der Männer und Frauen in Studentenwohnheimen trennen will, gegen einen Prediger, der die Evolutionstheorie leugnet und den Abfall vom Glauben als schlimmer als Mord bezeichnet. Dem westlichen Betrachter fehlen da verständlicherweise die Worte.
Die Hoffnung, dass sich Erdogan durch das Lockmittel EU-Beitritt zum lupenreinen Demokraten wandeln und die Türkei zu einem durch und durch westlich orientierten Rechtsstaat machen werde, ist, wie die Ereignisse zeigen, unangebracht. Die Türkei, das ist die zutiefst enttäuschende Lehre der Ereignisse, mag wirtschaftlich Fortschritte gemacht haben, doch ihre politische Kultur hat sich in den vergangenen Jahren nicht grundlegend europäisiert, sondern tendenziell islamisiert. Wer will sich ein Land, in dem das „Feuer" Gottes eine zentrale politische Kategorie zu sein scheint, weiterhin ernsthaft als EU-Vollmitglied wünschen?
Die Unterstützung der Europäischen Union und der westlichen Öffentlichkeit gebührt nicht der türkischen Regierung und natürlich ebenso wenig der Gülen-Bewegung, sondern den freiheitlich und säkular gesinnten Menschen, die auf dem Taksim-Platz und anderswo in der Türkei gegen die islamistische Erdogan-Herrschaft demonstrierten.
Aber große Hoffnungen, dass sie zur politisch bestimmenden Kraft werden, darf man sich leider nicht machen.
