    Alasan Terlarangnya Mengucapkan Selamat Natal bagi Muslim ------- Mungkin tidak lama lagi, akan terdengar, akan terpampang tulisan yang dibaca "Merry Christmas", atau yang artinya Selamat Hari Natal. Dan biasanya, momen ini disandingkan dengan ucapan Selamat Tahun Baru. Sebagian orang menganggap ucapan semacam itu tidaklah bermasalah, apalagi yang yang berpendapat demikian adalah mereka orang-orang kafir. Namun hal ini menjadi masalah yang besar, ketika seorang muslim mengucapakan ucapan selamat terhadap perayaan orang-orang kafir. Dan ada juga sebagian di antara kaum muslimin, berpendapat nyeleneh sebagaimana pendapatnya orang-orang kafir. Dengan alasan toleransi dalam beragama!? Toleransi beragama bukanlah seperti kesabaran yang tidak ada batasnya. Namun toleransi beragama dijunjung tinggi oleh syari'at, asal di dalamnya tidak terdapat penyelisihan syari'at. Bentuk toleransi bisa juga bentuknya adalah membiarkan saja mereka berhari raya tanpa turut serta dalam acara mereka, termasuk tidak perlu ada ucapan selamat. Islam mengajarkan kemuliaan dan akhlak-akhlak terpuji. Tidak hanya perlakuan baik terhadap sesama muslim, namun juga kepada orang kafir. Bahkan seorang muslim dianjurkan berbuat baik kepada orang-orang kafir, selama orang-orang kafir tidak memerangi kaum muslimin. Allah Ta'ala berfirman, لا يَنْهَاكُمُ اللَّهُ عَنِ الَّذِينَ لَمْ يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجُوكُم مِّن دِيَارِكُمْ أَن تَبَرُّوهُمْ وَتُقْسِطُوا إِلَيْهِمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُقْسِطِينَ "Allah tiada melarang kamu untuk berbuat baik dan berlaku adil terhadap orang-orang yang tiada memerangimu karena agama dan tidak (pula) mengusir kamu dari negerimu. Sesungguhnya Allah menyukai orang-orang yang berlaku adil." (QS. Al Mumtahanah: Namun hal ini dimanfaatkan oleh sebagian orang untuk menggeneralisir sikap baik yang harus dilakukan oleh seorang muslim kepada orang-orang kafir. Lanjut ke bagian 2

And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. Kami tidak mengutus seorang rasulpun, melainkan dengan bahasa kaumnya, supaya ia dapat memberi penjelasan dengan terang kepada mereka. Maka Allah menyesatkan siapa yang Dia kehendaki, dan memberi petunjuk kepada siapa yang Dia kehendaki. Dan Dialah Tuhan Yang Maha Kuasa lagi Maha Bijaksana. Al Maidah 67. O Messenger, announce that which has been revealed to you from your Lord, and if you do not, then you have not conveyed His message. And Allah will protect you from the people. Indeed, Allah does not guide the disbelieving people. Hai Rasul, sampaikanlah apa yang diturunkan kepadamu dari Tuhanmu. Dan jika tidak kamu kerjakan (apa yang diperintahkan itu, berarti) kamu tidak menyampaikan amanat-Nya. Allah memelihara kamu dari (gangguan) manusia. Sesungguhnya Allah tidak memberi petunjuk kepada orang-orang yang kafir. Al Maidah 92. And obey Allah and obey the Messenger and beware. And if you turn away - then know that upon Our Messenger is only [the responsibility for] clear notification. Dan taatlah kamu kepada Allah dan taatlah kamu kepada Rasul-(Nya) dan berhati-hatilah. Jika kamu berpaling, maka ketahuilah bahwa sesungguhnya kewajiban Rasul Kami, hanyalah menyampaikan (amanat Allah) dengan terang. Al A'raf 164. And when a community among them said, "Why do you advise [or warn] a people whom Allah is [about] to destroy or to punish with a severe punishment?" they [the advisors] said, "To be absolved before your Lord and perhaps they may fear Him."     হাটহাজারীর পূর্ন আপডেট:- এবং আহমদ শফী সাহেব (দাঃবাঃ) এর বর্তমান অবস্হা.. চরম উত্তেজনা বিরাজ করছে হাটহাজারী মাদ্রাসা এবং পুরা হাটহাজারী এলাকায়.. হাটহাজারী মাদ্রাসা থেকে কাচারী সড়ক পর্যন্ত লোকে লোকারন্য.. হাটহাজারীর গেট বন্ধ, ছাত্ররা সব মাঠে.. নারায়ে তাকবিরের মুহুর্মূহু স্লোগানে হাটহাজারী প্রকম্পিত.. যে কোন সময় ঘটতে পারে অনাকাংখীত যে কোন ঘটনা.. কাচাড়ি সড়কের পর থেকে পুলিশ এবং বিজিবির সকর্ত অবস্হান.. তবে আলহামদুলিল্লাহ হাটহাজারীর গেট পর্যন্ত কুত্তার বাচ্চাগুলি এখনও পৌছতে পারেনি॥॥ এবং পরিস্হীতি ধিরে ধিরে স্বাভাবিক হচ্ছে..॥ তবে শফী সাহেব গ্রেফতার হয়েছেন বলে কিছু পেজ থেকে বিভ্রান্তী ছড়ানো হচ্ছে.! তবে বিভ্রান্তীটা যে কোন সময়ই সত্যে পরিনত হতে পারে॥॥ সঙ্গেই থাকুন।।

    les bienfaits médicaux de la priére !! Les musulmans tirent de multiples bienfaits thérapeutiques et spirituels depuis les ablutions jusqu'aux mouvements de la prière – le Takbir, la position debout, l'inclinaison, la prosternation, la position assise et le Taslim. Nous effectuons cinq prières quotidiennes obligatoires (Salat) ainsi que des prières volontaires (Sunnah, Nafl) tout au long de l'année, ainsi que les prières de Tarawih durant le mois de Ramadan. Ceci permet de pratiquer un exercice physique modéré et particulier à chaque muscle de notre corps. Certains muscles se contractent de façon isométrique (même longueur) et d'autres se contractent en approximation ou de façon isotonique (même tension). L'énergie nécessaire au métabolisme musculaire croît durant l'accomplissement de la Salat et entraîne une déficience d'oxygène et des nutriments musculaires. Ensuite, cette déficience entraîne la vasodilatation, une augmentation de la taille des vaisseaux sanguins, qui permet au sang de circuler aisément vers le cœur. Cette charge temporairement accrue permet de fortifier le muscle cardiaque et d'y améliorer la circulation. Durant le mois de Ramadan, des prières additionnelles sont effectuées après la prière de Icha, appelées prières de Tarawih et qui varient de 8 à 22 rak'ats. Il y a une pause de quelques minutes toutes les quatre rak'ats pour louer la grandeur d'Allah. Après l'Iftar (rupture du jeûne), le niveau de glucose dans le sang continue d'augmenter à cause de la nourriture ingérée. Juste avant le repas d'Iftar, les niveaux de glucose dans le sang et d'insuline sont à leur niveau le plus bas. Environ une heure après le repas, le glucose commence à augmenter ainsi que l'insuline dans le plasma. Le foie et les muscles récupèrent le glucose qui circule. Le sucre dans le sang atteint de hauts niveaux au bout d'une heure ou deux et les bénéfices de la prière de Tarawih font alors effet. Le glucose circulant est métabolisé en dioxyde de carbone et en eau durant les prières de Tarawih. Ainsi, les prières de Tarawih aident à dépenser le surplus de calories et à améliorer la flexibilité et la coordination, à réduire les réactions autonymiques liées au stress chez les personnes en bonne santé et à soulager l'anxiété et la déprime. - Bien-être physique et émotionnel Les mouvements effectués lors des prières de Tarawih améliorent la condition physique, le bien-être émotionnel et augmentent la longévité du Namazi (la personne qui effectue la Salat ou Namaz). Lorsque qu'un effort est fourni, comme lorsque l'on effectue les prières de Tarawih, il s'opère une amélioration de l'endurance, de la résistance, de la flexibilité et de la force. On a constaté que les cinq prières quotidiennes (Salat) produisent les mêmes changements physiologiques que ceux produits par un jogging ou une marche à pied à une allure de 3 miles par heure, mais sans effet indésirable. De récentes études appliquées à 17 000 étudiants d'Harvard qui ont intégré l'Université entre 1916 et 1950 ont prouvé que seuls des exercices modérés, équivalent à un footing quotidien d'environ 3 miles, garantissaient une bonne santé et pouvaient même ajouter quelques années de vie. Les hommes qui dépensaient environ 2000 calories, sur une base hebdomadaire (ce qui équivaut à une marche quotidienne, un footing, ou l'exercice du cyclisme ou de la natation pendant 30 minutes) avaient des taux de mortalité un quart ou un tiers inférieur à leurs camarades qui pratiquaient peu ou pas d'exercice. En plus de ceci, le prieur sera préparé à tout effort physique inattendu tel que la chute subite d'un enfant, d'un siège ou le simple fait de rattraper un transport en commun. Les plus âgés accompliront ces gestes avec sûreté et efficacité. Ainsi, c'est un avantage pour les plus âgés qui pourront maintenir leur condition physique sur une période plus longue. On a observé que ceux qui jeûnent et effectuent les prières de Tarawih se sentent plus convalescents et robustes. - Les personnes âgées Lorsque les personnes vieillissent, leurs activités physiologiques diminuent. Ainsi, leurs os deviennent plus fins et, s'ils ne sont pas traités correctement, ils souffrent d'ostéoporose. Ceci est la cause de fractures des os lorsque les personnes âgées tombent, du fait de la perte minérale dans l'os et de l'état spongieux de ce dernier. L'os devient structurellement instable, fragile et sensible aux fractures. L'ostéoporose primaire est la plus commune chez les femmes ménopausées (du fait d'une baisse d'oestrogène) ou chez celles qui ont subi une ovariectomie bilatérale (ablation des deux ovaires). Les femmes ont six fois plus de probabilités que les hommes de développer l'ostéoporose de type I. Les principales stratégies de prévention de l'ostéoporose sont la consommation diététique importante de calcium et de vitamine D, l'exercice régulier et l'apport d'oestrogène pour les femmes ménopausées. La peau devient, elle aussi, fragile et froissée. Les processus de réparation du corps deviennent plus lents et les défenses immunitaires décroissent. Pour les personnes âgées, l'activité physique est réduite. De ce fait, ils ont des niveaux d'insuline plus bas. Les fonctions de réserve de tous les organes vitaux diminuent et les personnes âgées sont plus sensibles aux accidents et aux maladies. Grâce aux mouvements répétitifs et réguliers durant la Salat, la force musculaire, la puissance des tendons, les articulations, la flexibilité et les réserves cardiovasculaires sont améliorées. Ainsi, la Salat et les prières de Tarawih permettent aux personnes âgées d'enrichir leur qualité de vie et de faire face à des difficultés inattendues telles que des chutes qui pourraient les blesser. Ainsi, les prières de Tarawih vont augmenter leur endurance, leur respect de soi et leur confiance du fait qu'ils se sentent indépendants. L'adrénaline est secrétée même lors d'une activité mineure. La sécrétion dure plus longtemps que son incitation. Même lorsque les prières de Tarawih sont terminées, les effets de l'adrénaline et la noradrénaline sont manifestes. L'adrénaline, également appelée épinéphrine, est produite par la glande médullosurrénale. La partie centrale de cette glande sécrète l'hormone qui, chimiquement, est presque identique à la substance noradrénaline produite aux extrémités des nerfs sympathiques. La sécrétion d'adrénaline dans la circulation sanguine entraîne l'accélération du cœur, le resserrement des artérioles et la dilatation des pupilles. De plus, l'adrénaline produit une hausse du taux métabolique préparant le corps à toute urgence. Le simple fait d'avoir l'intention d'effectuer les prières de Tarawih est suffisant pour activer le système nerveux sympathique. Le système nerveux sympathique (système nerveux lombo-thoracique) est l'un des deux composantes du système nerveux autonymique qui fournit les nerfs moteurs aux muscles des organes internes et au muscle cardiaque. Les fibres nerveuses sympathiques remontent par les nerfs spinaux dans les régions thoracique et lombaire. Elles dégagent principalement de la noradrénaline qui augmente le rythme cardiaque et la respiration, fait monter la pression sanguine et ralentit le processus de digestion, provoquant les effets du système nerveux parasympathique. L'adrénaline redistribue le sang dans le corps aux muscles actifs, mobilise le glycogène du foie si nécessaire afin d'apporter du glucose aux tissus actifs, diminue la fatigue des muscles du squelette, facilite la ventilation alvéolaire en relâchant les muscles bronchiques. - Les effets bénéfiques de l'exercice doux Les prières de Tarawih sont considérées comme étant un exercice doux. Les effets bénéfiques de l'exercice doux sur le corps sont les suivants : - Effets sur les muscles du squelette Les muscles non utilisés s'atrophient malgré la présence de protéines. Durant la prière et les prières de Tarawih, chaque muscle du corps se contracte, les uns isotoniquement et les autres isométriquement. Cet exercice doux améliore également l'endurance et diminue la fatigue. Il aide les personnes à capacité réduite à utiliser au mieux les capacités qui leur restent. Le flux de sang dans un muscle au repos est faible. Durant la prière, il est augmenté de façon significative. Le flux augmente parfois même avant le début des prières de Tarawih, juste avec l'idée de les effectuer. En plus du besoin de graisse, protéines et d'hydrates de carbone, le corps humain a besoin de minéraux tels que le potassium pour l'activité nerveuse et musculaire. Ils se trouvent dans les fruits, les viandes, les fruits de mer et le lait. Une déficience en potassium cause des troubles musculaires et neurologiques. Le potassium joue également un rôle important dans la transmission des impulsions nerveuses. De plus, il exerce un rôle dans l'activité des enzymes cellulaires et aide à réguler les réactions chimiques par lesquelles les hydrates de carbone se transforment en énergie et les acides aminés se transforment en protéines.     A sister living in the west writes:    Winter months are very harsh where I live, but I am able to carry on with my daily routines because once I am home, I can turn on my heating system and protect myself from the elements. Last night I was going through some of the horrific images of the snowstorm in Lebanon, which is affecting the refugees from Syria. Children with Lost bewildered eyes stared at the camera. Their mothers maintained a dignified posture, and they seem to be trying to stay strong so that the children do not end up feeling defeated, but I could sense the hurt in their eyes. I felt guilty for feeling warm and secure; I even contemplated not using my heater just so I can have a feel of what they must be going through. But by fajr time, I was feeling incredibly cold and I felt forced to turn on the heater…especially because I needed coax the kids to get out of bed for school shortly after fajr. I came to the conclusion that it wouldn't even a realistic assessment, how can it be? I know that at the press of a button I can warm up my home. I have a fridge in my kitchen that holds food which can be used as fuel for my body to withstand the harsh weather. I live in a house made of bricks which insulates the heat…they live in flimsy shelters made out of whatever they could salvage. No unless I am in the same situation as them I would never know what it is like to live in such conditions. But just because we don't walk in someone else's shoes, it does not mean that I should not have any empathy for their predicament. It should agitate us and we should be losing sleep over how we can resolve this, just like the cold weather keeps our brothers and sisters awake in the refugee camps. Just because the problem is not on our doorsteps…it does not relieve us to go about our lives without reflecting on the state of the Ummah.   The Prophet (saw) said: "None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself." [Bukhari & Muslim] Initially I felt like a failure when I wimped out and warmed up my home. But then I remembered that it is my human instinct to try and keep warm. I realised that denying myself, what is denied to my brothers and sister would not really make any difference to what they are compelled to endure.    As individuals, our hands are tied… Sure we can exert our time energy and effort to alleviate the suffering by doing charity work, may Allah accept everyone's intentions and actions which will speak in our favour on the day of reckoning. But how many people will it reach? Is it not the case that Muslims all over the world live in poverty and dire conditions, even though the Ummah of Mohammed (saw) is blessed with so many generous people? What about the abundant resources in our lands, how is it being used to bring an end to our sufferings? Dear Ummah is it not about time that we started to actively working for a sustainable solution to this problem? Sure we need to raise our hands up in dua, as it is part and parcel of our deen to seek solace in our lord. But at the same time, do we not channel every avenue we can think of to achieve our personal goals?  Be it preparing for an exam, going out to provide for the family etc. Even the dead skin that we shed will stand testimony and recall how we used our body in worship to our creator. Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) saying, 'Whosoever of you sees an evil action, he must change it with his hand. If he is not able to do so, then he must change it] with his tongue. If he is not able to do so then [he must change it] with his heart and this is the weakest (manifestation) of faith.' " So when your eyes read about the solution that Allah has ordained for us dear Ummah, let it be known that our eyes, ears tongues and limbs will stand as witness in front of our lord, and  recall whether we mobilised to work for the solution that we face today. Let it be known dear Ummah that the only solution which is prescribed by Allah (swt), which is reinforced with the guidance from the Qur'an and Sunnah, is the return of the Khilafah state. Ask your selves did the leaders of the past, who ruled over the Ummah under the shade of the Khilafah State, go to their enemies to help them resolve internal matters, like the illegitimate rulers of this blessed Ummah do now. Ask yourselves dear Ummah did the leader from our glorious past accept resolutions that were designed to weaken the state in order for it to be left vulnerable for other nations to attack and take over our lands like we see happening today. Ask yourselves dear Ummah, Were not the leaders of the past from of a certain calibre, who were only selected because of their fear of Allah (swt) and their willingness to only apply what has been chosen by Allah (swt) alone?   At the beginning of the revolution in Syria, mothers like the ones on the photos I was looking at, used to call out to the world (especially the Arab and Muslim world) to come to her aid. But two years down the line, women stand with guns on their hands, ready to defend their family, honour and their property…they seem have come to the realisation that no one will come to their aid. The people now come out in the streets and shout out defiantly 'we only rely in Allah'. They are fully aware of how political powerhouses (along with their agents ruling over the Ummah) are working night and day to obstruct the Muslim Ummah's aspiration to create a nation that is built upon the foundations set by Allah (swt), using the Quran and sunnah as the only criteria. They are fully prepared to accept the consequences of their efforts to bring this dream to a reality,  Just like the prophet (saw) and the early Muslims were boycotted, starved and oppressed…Muslims in Syria and other parts of the world are also facing or living through the same tactics, but they have the tools of the believer... They have complete trust in Allah swt)      Dear Ummah is it not about time that we started to actively working for a sustainable solution to our problems, while putting complete trust in Allah (swt), even though the enemies of Allah have laid  many thorns on our road to victory? Will you not join us in our work to revive the khilafah state…the only sustainable solution chosen by our creator? تَكُونُ النُّبُوَّةُ فِيكُمْ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ تَكُونَ ثُمَّ يَرْفَعُهَا إِذَا شَاءَ أَنْ يَرْفَعَهَا ثُمَّ تَكُونُ خِلَافَةٌ عَلَى مِنْهَاجِ النُّبُوَّةِ فَتَكُونُ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ تَكُونَ ثُمَّ يَرْفَعُهَا إِذَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَرْفَعَهَا ثُمَّ تَكُونُ مُلْكًا عَاضًّا فَيَكُونُ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَكُونَ ثُمَّ يَرْفَعُهَا إِذَا شَاءَ أَنْ يَرْفَعَهَا ثُمَّ تَكُونُ مُلْكًا جَبْرِيَّةً فَتَكُونُ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ تَكُونَ ثُمَّ يَرْفَعُهَا إِذَا شَاءَ أَنْ يَرْفَعَهَا ثُمَّ تَكُونُ خِلَافَةً عَلَى مِنْهَاجِ النُّبُوَّةِ ثُمَّ سَكَتَ   "There will be Prophethood for as long as Allah wills it to be, then He will remove it when He wills, then there will be Khilafah on the Prophetic method and it will be for as long as Allah wills, then He will remove it when He wills, then there will be biting Kingship for as long as Allah Wills, then He will remove it when He wills, then there will be oppressive kingship for as long as Allah wills, then he will remove it when He wills, and then there will be Khilafah upon the Prophetic method" and then he remained silent.     যারা বলে কাদের মোল্লা মুসলিম ছিল তাদের উদেশ্যে ,(ধর্ম ধর্ম করে যারা লাফাসচ্ছে ) আমি আল্লাহ কে সাক্ষী রেখে বলতে পারি সে যখন নিরপরাধ মানুষ হত্যা করেছিল ঠিক সেই মুহূর্ত থেকে সে মুসলিম বলে নিজেকে দাবি করার অধিকার হারিয়েছে। যে মুহূর্তে সে ১১ বছরের মেয়েকে রেপ করেছে সেই মুহূর্ত থেকে সে আর মুসলিম নয়। যারা তাকে মুসলিম মনে করে হয় তারা নিজেরাই জানে নাহ ইসলাম, মুসলিম মানে কি অথবা তারা ইসচ্ছাকৃত ভাবে ইসলাম ধর্মকে অবমাননা করতে চাচ্ছে।

    Norman Stone - Es war kein Völkermord Die Massaker von 1915/16 an den Armeniern waren weder Dschihad noch geplante Ausmerzung. Die Türken standen im Krieg, wurden provoziert und verteidigten ihr Reich, behauptet Historiker Norman Stone. Eine polemische Replik auf die Genozid-These von Hans-Lukas Kieser in der vergangenen Weltwoche. «Der armenische ‹Genozid› ist eine imperialistische Verschwörung.» Dies sind die Worte von Dogu Perinçek, einem türkischen Marxisten, und er sprach sie in der Schweiz. Die Schweiz – Land der Freiheit und der freien Rede – hat ein (durch Volksabstimmung gebilligtes) Gesetz erlassen, das das Leugnen von Völkermord unter Strafe stellt. Das Gesetz wurde ursprünglich formuliert, um gegen Holocaust-Leugner vorgehen zu können. Es definiert nicht genau, was unter Völkermord zu verstehen ist und welche historischen Ereignisse als Genozid zu werten sind. Offenbar fallen die Massaker gegen die osmanischen Armenier im Jahre 1915 unter die Definition, denn Dogu Perinçek wurde von der Polizei einvernommen, nachdem er seine kritische Aussage gemacht hatte. Die Polizei interessierte sich auch für Betrachtungen, die ein türkischer Historiker, Yusuf Halaçoglu, angestellt hatte. Halaçoglu, der eine historische Stiftung leitet und der die die armenische Frage von 1915 betreffenden Dokumente einem eingehenden Studium unterzogen hat, sagte in der Schweiz, dass es keine geplante türkische Ausrottung der Armenier von Anatolien gegeben habe: Hunderttausende seien wegen einer Rebellion deportiert worden, und viele von ihnen seien an Krankheit oder Hunger gestorben. Dies ist eine vertretbare These, die Geschichtsforscher, die mit den Quellen vertraut sind, akzeptieren oder zumindest ernst nehmen. Nun existiert aber eine armenische Diaspora, der es irgendwie gelungen ist, diese oder jene öffentliche Körperschaft davon zu überzeugen, «Genozidleugnung» zu einem Verbrechen zu machen. Im Falle von Professor Halaçoglu wurde sogar die Interpol eingeschaltet. Tod in der Verbannung Dogu Perinçek, als ein altes marxistisches Schlachtross bekannt, und ich selber – der einst Reden für Margaret Thatcher schrieb – sind politisch meilenweit voneinander entfernt, aber ich stimme mit ihm völlig überein, was die armenische Angelegenheit betrifft, oder ich bin zumindest nicht von den Genozidvorwürfen überzeugt. Wenn die armenische Diaspora selber ihrer Sache so sicher ist, sollte sie ihren Fall einem ordnungsgemässen Gericht unterbreiten. Sie hat dies nie getan und es vorgezogen, diverse Politiker so zu betören, zu verwirren, anzuöden oder zu bestechen, dass sie diesen oder jenen Gesetzesentwurf einbrachten. Hans-Lukas Kieser vertritt in seinem Artikel in der Weltwoche (Nr. 42.06) die Auffassung, dass im Jahre 1915 ein Völkermord an den Armeniern begangen wurde. Nun stimmt es, dass damals die armenische Bevölkerung von fast ganz Anatolien deportiert wurde und dass es zu einigen wohldokumentierten Massakern kam. Missionare und Diplomaten waren Zeugen dieser Ereignisse und haben über sie Bericht erstattet. Es gibt Auseinandersetzungen über die Zahl der Umgebrachten und darüber, wie sie starben. Yusuf Halaçoglu (dessen Werk von Kieser nicht erwähnt wird), der sich auf von osmanischen Behörden erhobene Statistiken beruft, nennt die Zahl von 550000 Deportierten und sagt, von diesen seien 50000 gestorben, wobei die Hälfte davon getötet wurde. Ein besonders grauenhaftes Massaker wurde in der Nähe von Erzincan veranstaltet, und die Flüsse waren voller herabtreibender Leichen. Im Exil starben die Deportierten an Hunger und Seuchen. Stanford Shaw (von Kieser auch nicht erwähnt) – er war Professor in Kalifornien – nennt die Zahl 300000. Diaspora-Armenier, die 300000 als eine verharmlosende Beleidigung empfanden, versuchten, Shaws Haus mit einer Feuerbombe in Brand zu stecken. Wie gross war der Anteil der Gesamtbevölkerung Anatoliens, der in jener Zeit an Hunger oder Epidemien starb? Ein Viertel? Ein Drittel? Niemand weiss es wirklich. Im Jahre 1914 brach ein Krieg zwischen Russland und der Türkei aus, wobei die Russen sich auf christliche Solidarität mit den Armeniern beriefen. In der russischen Armee dienten vier armenische Regimenter, und als sie die Grenze überschritten, rebellierten die Armenier in der Stadt Van. Die Osmanen beschlossen darauf, die armenische Bevölkerung, die etwa einen Fünftel der Gesamtbevölkerung Anatoliens ausmachte, zu deportieren. Viele, sehr viele starben. War dies ein beabsichtigter Völkermord, oder bedeutete die «Deportation» nach Syrien das, was das Wort besagt? Es gibt verschiedene Dinge dazu zu sagen. Erstens einmal: Viele Armenier überlebten. Kieser erwähnt dies nicht, aber die Armenier in den Städten Istanbul und Izmir wurden nicht deportiert. Diejenigen in Aleppo überlebten ebenfalls. Wenn man den Vergleich mit dem Holocaust anstellen will, dann ist dies, wie wenn die Juden von Berlin, Wien und Frankfurt verschont worden wären. Würde Hans-Lukas Kieser Stanford Shaws fünfbändige Geschichte des türkischen Unabhängigkeitskriegs lesen (in seinem Artikel unerwähnt), würde er begreifen, was geschah. Die Armenier wurden deportiert und starben in grosser Zahl. 1917 wurde ihnen die Rückkehr nach Ostanatolien erlaubt. 1918 wurde Armenien unabhängig. Mit der Unterstützung von Grossbritannien und Frankreich machten sich die Armenier daran, einen Staat zu schaffen, der grösser ist als das heutige Armenien (unter anderem beanspruchten sie Batum, Erzurum und verschiedene andere Städte). Nebenbei gesagt, praktizierten sie dabei in grossem Stil, was man heute «ethnische Säuberung» nennt. Opfer einer Verschwörung Ein junger Historiker der Universität Harvard, der auf das Osmanische Reich und das zaristische Russland spezialisiert ist, hat das Geschehen dokumentiert (auch seine Forschungsarbeit bleibt bei Kieser unerwähnt): Die Armenier verliessen die wichtigsten Städte der Türkei, um sich im neuen Armenien niederzulassen. 1920 brach Nordarmenien zusammen. Kurz darauf flohen auch Hunderttausende von Südarmeniern auf französisches Gebiet – Syrien, Libanon, Tunesien und schliesslich auch nach Frankreich selber. Die Niederlage Nordarmeniens wird übrigens von dem armenischen Historiker Richard Hovannisian (einem ehemaligen Mitarbeiter Stanford Shaws) ausgezeichnet beschrieben. Sein vierter Band ist meiner Ansicht nach ein Klassiker. Es ist eine ungeheuer traurige Geschichte, denn jeder, der mit der Türkei vertraut ist, wird mir beipflichten, wenn ich das Verschwinden der Armenier (wie auch der Griechen) aus der Türkei zutiefst bedaure. Um aber gegenüber den Türken fair zu bleiben, muss man auch sagen, dass sie Opfer einer «imperialistischen Verschwörung» wurden und dass die Armenier sich dabei als Werkzeug benutzen liessen. Wollte die osmanische Regierung 1915 die Armenier auf die gleiche Weise ausrotten, wie dies Hitler später mit den Juden tun sollte? Bernard Lewis, dem eminenten Historiker und Islamkenner der Universität Princeton, wurde diese Frage von Le Monde gestellt, und er wich einer direkten Antwort aus. Er sagte: «Es hängt davon ab, was man unter ‹Genozid› versteht.» Darauf wurde er von Armeniern vor Gericht gezerrt. Er gewann vier der Verfahren, worauf seine Gegner Berufung einlegten. (Bernard Lewis ist heute neunzigjährig, und seine erstmals 1963 veröffentlichte Geschichte der modernen Türkei ist immer noch erhältlich.) Lewis verlor den fünften Prozess und wurde zur Bezahlung einer symbolischen Strafe von einem Franc verurteilt, weil er die Gefühle von Menschen verletzt habe. Die französische Justiz ist wahrhaft bizarr. Die Tatsachen geben Bernard Lewis recht: Es gibt kein Dokument, das zeigt, dass die osmanische Regierung «Völkermord» beabsichtigte. Ein intelligenter Gelehrter auf der armenischen Seite, der türkische Historiker Taner Akçam, vertritt die Auffassung, dass gerade das Fehlen eines Dokuments für einen «Völkermord» spricht. Der bekannteste Autor zum Thema der armenischen Frage ist Vahakn Dadrian, der unermüdlich die Völkermord-These vertritt. Dadrian verteidigt Dokumente als echt, die allgemein als Fälschungen betrachtet werden, und zwar als Fälschungen, die nicht weniger grotesk sind als die berüchtigten «Hitler-Tagebücher»: 1920, als Armenien im Begriffe war zusammenzustürzen, legte ein Journalist namens Andonian Dokumente vor – etwa vierzig angebliche Telegramme –, die zeigen sollten, dass der osmanische Grosswesir Talaat die Vernichtung der Armenier befahl, einschliesslich Kindern in Waisenhäusern. Diese Dokumente wurden nach London und Paris weitergeleitet. Sie wurden von den britischen Justizbehörden nie verwendet, und auch ein deutsches Gericht, das den Fall des späteren Mörders von Talaat behandelte (und diesen freisprach), anerkannte sie nicht. Die besagten Dokumente sind inzwischen verschwunden – was kaum für ihre Authentizität spricht. Trotzdem verteidigt Dadrian sie. «Beweise» sind Fälschungen Was lässt sich über die angeblich den Genozid beweisenden Dokumente sagen? Das Papier, auf dem sie geschrieben waren, stammt von einer französischen Schule in Aleppo. Dadrian erklärt dies mit einer 1915 herrschenden Papierknappheit. Die Unterschrift des Gouverneurs ist falsch. Dadrian: Die Leute ändern ihre Unterschriften. Die Datierung ist falsch, weil der Fälscher nicht realisierte, dass das muslimische Jahr im März beginnt, und deshalb die Dokumente mit einer Jahreszahl datierte, die unserem 1916 und nicht unserem 1915 entspricht. Diese offensichtlich gefälschten Dokumente sind das einzige direkte Beweisstück für einen von den Osmanen bewusst beabsichtigten «Völkermord». Es gibt in diesem Zusammenhang noch weitere Beweisfetzen, die der sehr respektierte amerikanische Historiker Guenter Lewy (Amherst-Universität, Massachusetts) darlegt. Sein Verleger ist gewöhnlich die Oxford University Press. Dieser Verlag hat sich geweigert, sein Buch über die armenischen Massaker zu publizieren, mit der Begründung, er vertrete einen «türkischen Leugnungsdiskurs». Das wissenschaftlich seriöse Buch wurde dann von der Universität Utah publiziert. Wir kommen nun zum Kern der Sache. Die Briten besetzten Istanbul von Ende 1918 bis Ende 1922. Sie hatten freien Zugang zu den Archiven, und sie verhafteten 150 prominente Türken, die sie auf Malta festhielten. Keine Beweise, die ihnen Genozid nachweisen würden, sind je aufgetaucht. In ihrer Not wandten sich die Briten an das amerikanische Staatsdepartment und fragten, ob dieses irgendwelche belastende Unterlagen gegen die türkischen Beamten besässe. Immerhin waren amerikanische Konsuln Zeugen der Ereignisse von 1915 und 1916 gewesen. Die Antwort der Amerikaner: Wir besitzen keine Beweise. Nun werden Historiker aus der armenischen Diaspora behaupten, dass a) die türkischen Nationalisten die britischen Offiziellen unter Druck setzten und b) die Amerikaner bereits damals begannen, sich für das Öl im Nahen Osten zu interessieren, und es deshalb vermieden, die Türken vor den Kopf zu stossen. Wie dem auch sei: Sind dies wirklich schlüssige Argumente für einen «Völkermord»? Was bleibt, sind die Massaker an den Armeniern. Niemand bestreitet sie. Die Frage ist: Warum kam es zu den Massakern? Kieser scheint zu glauben, dass eine Art kollektiver Wahnsinn die türkischen Führer von 1915 leitete – eine Mischung von islamischem Dschihad und von Möchtegern-jakobinischem Nationalismus, ein Wahnsinn, der auf die Vernichtung von Minderheiten hinsteuerte. Nun muss man sich vergegenwärtigen, dass die Türken damals in einem Weltkrieg gegen Feinde standen, die eine Aufteilung Anatoliens planten. Die Russen waren vom Kaukasus her eingedrungen, die Briten hatten die Dardanellen angegriffen, und die Franzosen bildeten eine armenische Legion auf Zypern aus. (Kieser erwähnt zu Recht Franz Werfels «Vierzig Tage des Musa Dagh», aber die Chronologie ist ihm entgangen: Der Aufstand ereignete sich vor den Deportationen und war die direkte Folge des französischen Eingreifens in der Südtürkei.) Ein armenischer Aufstand hatte bereits in Van stattgefunden, und obschon Kieser glaubt, es habe sich dabei um eine defensive Aktion gehandelt, sahen es die Russen, die das Gebiet zwei oder drei Wochen später besetzten, anders. Michael Reynolds hat die einschlägigen Dokumente studiert. Demgemäss notierte der Vizekönig des Kaukasus, dass die Armenier sich jede Art von Grausamkeit zuschulden hatten kommen lassen – sie töteten Greise, Frauen und Kinder. Dies rief eine ungeheure türkische Reaktion hervor. Der Trost bestand für den Vizekönig darin, dass Russland sich «Armenien ohne die Armenier» einverleiben konnte. Niemand scheint die Armenier besonders geschätzt zu haben. Ein Aspekt der Angelegenheit ist meines Wissens noch nie richtig untersucht worden: das Verhältnis zwischen den armenischen Nationalisten und der Art des russischen Terrorismus, den Dostojewski in «Die Besessenen» beschreibt. Die osmanischen Armenier waren, wie dies Kieser vermerkt, gut integriert. Sie lieferten mehr als ihren proportionalen Anteil an Diplomaten, Verlegern, Spezialisten jeder Art und wurden von britischen Reisenden des 19. Jahrhunderts als «christianisierte Türken» betrachtet. 1821, als die Griechen rebellierten, waren es loyale Armenier, die den orthodoxen Patriarchen töteten. 1870, als das Osmanische Reich begann zusammenzufallen, verschrieben sich einige Armenier der nationalen Sache. Die zwei revolutionären armenischen Organisationen hatte sogar russische Namen: Hinschak heisst «Glocke», ein Echo von Alexander Herzens Kolokol, und Daschnak heisst «Föderation», ein Echo des frühsozialistischen jüdischen «Bunds». Die Taktik dieser Dostojewski-Figuren war einfach genug: Man provoziert die Polizei mit einer Terrorhandlung, die Polizei antwortet auf plumpe Art, Unschuldige leiden, die Öffentlichkeit sympathisiert mit deiner Seite. Wichtig ist, dass man anfänglich Abweichler im eigenen Lager, die vor solchen Taten warnen, umbringt. Ein Beispiel dafür ist der Bürgermeister von Van. Der Terror der armenischen Nationalisten nahm auf diese Weise in den 1880er Jahren seinen Anfang, und sie verstanden es ausgezeichnet, die westliche öffentliche Meinung für sich zu gewinnen. Bis auf den heutigen Tag bleiben die «armenischen Massaker» im Bewusstsein des westlichen Publikums. Nun warnten aber die Konsuln jener Zeit vor den armenischen Terroristen, wie dies ein fundiertes Buch von Jeremy Salt schildert (von Kieser nicht erwähnt). Bis heute ist es eine Tatsache, dass die Türken sich in Sachen Public Relations ungeschickt anstellen: Die armen Kerle können einfach nicht gut lügen. Aber es gibt schlimmere Sünden. Das ganze Land ist auf Flüchtlingen aufgebaut: der Kaukasus, die Krim, der Balkan. Laut Justin McCarthy (in «Death and Exile», von Kieser einmal mehr nicht erwähnt) waren es sieben Millionen Flüchtlinge, und eine enorme Zahl davon kam um. Wenn wir uns bloss der Armenier erinnern und die andern Opfer vergessen, sind wir eines zivilisierten Landes unwürdig und machen wir uns des Rassismus schuldig. Eine Tragödie für alle Ein herausragendes armenisches Opfer der Ereignisse war Patriarch Ashikyan. 1890 bezog er klar Stellung und warnte in einer Predigt in der Kum-Kapi-Kathedrale vor den Nationalisten.     Gud evenin my pals,OBASANJO'S LETTER TO JONATHAN (see full version in photos!) "Nigeria is bleeding and the hemorrhage must be stopped," Mr. Obasanjo said in the 18-page letter dated December 2, 2013. He said Mr. Jonathan has failed to deliver on his promises to the Nigerian people, stem corruption, promote national unity and strengthen national security. He said in the letter titled "Before it is too late" that rather than take steps to advance Nigeria's interest and up the standards of living of Nigerians, Mr. Jonathan had betrayed God and the Nigerian people that brought him to power, and has been pursuing selfish personal and political interests based on advice he receives from "self-centred aides". In the detailed letter, dripping of anger , frustration and what appears a genuine concern to rescue a nation on the brink, Mr. Obasanjo lamented that Mr. Jonathan had become terribly divisive and clannish, destroying his own party, polarizing the country along regional and religious lines and ridiculing Nigeria in the comity of nations. Without mincing words, Mr. Obasanjo blamed Mr. Jonathan for the crises tearing the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, apart. He said apart from using party chairman Bamanga Tukur to cause multiple crises and divide the ranks of the party, the president's failure to keep a promise he made not to seek a second term is also generating tension within the ruling party. "It would be unfair to continue to level full blames on the Chairman (Tukur) for all that goes wrong with the party," Mr. Obasanjo said. "The chairman is playing the tune dictated by the paymaster (Jonathan). But the paymaster is acting for a definitive purpose for which deceit and deception seem to be the major ingredients. "Up till two months ago, Mr. President, you told me that you have not told anybody that you would contest in 2015. I quickly pointed out to you that the signs and the measures on the ground do not tally with your statement. You said the same to one other person who shared his observation with me. And only a fool would believe that statement you made to me judging by what is going on. I must say it is not ingenious. You may wish to pursue a more credible and more honorable path." The former President said Mr. Jonathan told him before the 2011 election he would not seek a second term, and made the same promise to governors, party stakeholders and Nigerians. The president's refusal to keep that promise cast him as a man without honour, Mr. Obasanjo said. Saying it would be "fatally morally flawed" for Mr. Jonathan to contest in 2015, Mr. Obasanjo added, "As a leader, two things you must cherish and hold dear among others are trust and honour both of which are important ingredients of character. I will want to see anyone in the Office of the Presidency of Nigeria as a man or woman who can be trusted, a person of honour in his words and character." Mr. Obasanjo also accused Mr. Jonathan of anti- party conducts – supporting opposition parties' candidates in governorship elections in Lagos, Ondo, Edo and Anambra states at the detriment of PDP's own candidates –, and of pitting party members against one another. Saying the President had failed to address the underlying causes of the Boko Haram menace, Mr. Obasanjo urged Mr. Jonathan to adopt a carrot and stick approach in dealing with the insurgency explaining that "conventional military actions based on standard phases of military operations alone will not permanently and effectively deal with the issue of Boko Haram". Mr. Obasanjo also tackled Mr. Jonathan for allegedly being clannish. "For you to allow yourself to be "possessed", so to say, to the exclusion of most of the rest of Nigerians as an "Ijaw man" is a mistake that should never have been allowed to happen. Yes, you have to be born in one part of Nigeria to be Nigerian if not naturalized but the Nigerian President must be above ethnic factionalism. And those who prop you up as of, and for 'Ijaw nation' are not your friends genuinely, not friends of Nigeria nor friends of 'Ijaw nation' they tout about. "To allow or tacitly encourage people of 'Ijaw nation' to throw insults on other Nigerians from other parts of the country and threaten fire and brimstone to protect your interest as an Ijaw man is myopic and your not openly quieting them is even more unfortunate. Two Ijaw men, ex-militant Mujahid Dokubo-Asari, and a former federal commissioner for information, Edwin Clark, who carries himself around as the political godfather of the president, are known to talk down on people opposed to the president. Mr. Obasanjo also accused Mr. Jonathan of placing over 1000 Nigerians on political watch list and "training snipers and other armed personnel secretly and clandestinely acquiring weapons to match for political purposes like Abacha and training them where Abacha trained his killers". He wondered why the Presidency was providing assistance for a murderer to evade justice. "Presidential assistance for a murderer to evade justice and presidential delegation to welcome him home can only be in bad taste generally but particularly to the family of his victim," Mr. Obasanjo said. "Assisting criminals to evade justice cannot be part of the job of the presidency. Or, as it is viwed in some quarters, is he being recruited to do for you what he had done for Abacha in the past? Hopefully, he should have learned his lesson. Let us continue to watch." Mr. Obasanjo did not mention the name of the murderer he accused the President of protecting but he seems to be referring to Hamza Al-Mustapha, a former security aide to late Head of State, General Sani Abacha, who is facing trial for allegedly masterminding the killing of Kudirat Abiola, the wife of Moshood Abiola, the winner of the annulled 1993 presidential election. Mr. Al-Mustapha was freed by the appeal court in July but the Lagos state government has since appealed the judgment at the Supreme Court. The former President also called on the National Assembly to rise up and take decisive action over the recent allegation in the country that the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation failed to remit billions of dollars in proceeds of crude oil sales to the federation account. "This allegation will not fly away by non-action, cover-up, denial or bribing possible investigators," Mr. Obasanjo told the President. "Please deal with this allegation transparently and let the truth be known. "The dramatis personae in this allegation and who they are working for will one day be public knowledge. Those who know are watching if the National Assembly will not be accomplice in the heinous crime and naked grand corruption. May God grant you the grace for at least one effective corrective action against high corruption which seems to stink all around you in your government." Mr. Obasanjo said he wrote the letter in the national interest, saying nothing, at this stage of his life, would prevent him from standing up for whatever he considers to be in the best interest of Nigeria, Africa and the world. He said he was ready for whatever backlash his letter would provoke from the presidency. "Knowing what happens around you most of which you know of and condone or deny, this letter will proke cacophony from hired and unhired attackers but I will maintain my serenity because by this letter, I have done my duty to you as I have always done, to your government, to the party, PDP, and to our country, Nigeria…," Mr. Obasanjo said. "I have passed the stage of being flattered, intimidated, threatened, frightened, induced or bought… Death is the end of all human beings and may it come when God wills it to come."

Im Folgenden liste ich einige kurze Auszüge aus Nachrichtenmeldungen zu Christenverfolgungen auf, die sich in zwölf verschiedenen Ländern über die ganze Welt verstreut ereignet haben. Traurigerweise hat die große Mehrheit noch nie etwas davon gehört: 1. Ägypten: Ein christlicher Taxifahrer wurde aus seinem Fahrzeug gezerrt und enthauptet. Bei einem dieser Angriffe wurde der Taxifahrer Rafaat Aziz Mina das Opfer. Er wurde in einer Straße in Alexandria aus dem einzigen Grund abgeschlachtet, weil er ein Christ war. Der etwa Anfang 20 Jahre alte Mann wurde am 16. Neben anderen verübten Grausamkeiten wurden 45 Christen, darunter Frauen und Kinder, getötet; einige wurden zu Tode gequält. Die 14 Kirchen Sadads, von denen einige antiken Ursprungs sind, wurden geplündert und zerstört. Sein Kopf wird nach hinten gezogen und ein Messer an seine Kehle gehalten. Der Mann hat offensichtlich resigniert und wehrt sich nicht mehr gegen sein Schicksal. In arabischer Sprache spricht der Hintergrundsprecher oder "Erzähler" einige muslimische Gebete, von denen die meisten das Christentum verurteilen, das aufgrund der Dreifaltigkeitslehre als polytheistische Religion angesehen wird: "Allah soll Rache an der Vielgötterei der Abgefallenen nehmen, Allah stärke deine Religiosität und lasse sie über die Vielgötterei siegen, Allah, besiege die Ungläubigen durch die Hand der Muslime. Es gibt keinen Gott außer Allah, und Mohammed ist sein Prophet." Unter dem Ausruf "Allahu akbar" hält der maskierte Mann dann das Messer an die Kehle des Opfers und beginnt, sie aufzuschlitzen. Dabei trennt er den Kopf mit heftigen Schnitten innerhalb einer Minute vollständig vom Körper. Das schon leblose Opfer ist mit Blut überströmt.     In his speech to the United Nations General Assembly today the President of the United States declared that the future does not belong to practicing Christians.

These groups stretch back into antiquity to the days of Noah. If you trace these groups back far enough, you will see that they all end up operating under the same premise...'Ye shall be as gods'. But in unlocking these mysteries, I fear they will end up unlocking a lot more than they bargained for. The ancients like the Chaldeans, Phoenicians, and Babylonians are long-gone, but the mysteries they unsealed were simply transferred from generation to generation. They got their information from those Ante-Diluvians who received their knowledge from the fallen angelic 'watchers', or sons of God. In the OT, this meant the Angels and Adam...as they were direct creations of God. In the NT, this is also applied to the regenerated believer, who, through the Holy Spirit, becomes a new creation in Christ. But this unsealed knowledge in alchemy, weaponry, spells, and magic, began to grow like a cancer in the race of humanity. Like a growing shadow, this dark knowledge has continued to change hands until it eventually blanketed every culture in the world with darkness. The rebirth of an old hatred Most associate the rebirth of Israel as where the world turned the corner into the last days, but I think it happened earlier. Now, 1948 is when I think the prophetic clock restarted, but as far as setting the stage for that event to happen, I believe it was the Balfour Declaration in 1917. What was initially promised to the Jews in a land covenant was drastically reduced to its 1948 boundaries due to pressure from the Saudi's and the Egyptians who vehemently opposed the return of a Jewish nation to their backyard. The British, in turn betrayed the Jews be reneging on much of the land that had been initially promised them and created Trans-Jordan, which became a Hashemite kingdom. (From Saudi Arabia) In 1939, Great Britain reneged on the Balfour Declaration by issuing the White Paper, which stated that creating a Jewish state was no longer a British policy. It was also Great Britain's change in policy toward Palestine, especially the White Paper, that prevented millions of European Jews to escape from Nazi-occupied Europe to Palestine. From 1948 on, the Middle East has been a gigantic tinderbox waiting to explode. Yet in Israel's three main wars (1948, 1967, 1973), her foes were unsuccessful in removing her from the land. But Israel in her land caused the rise of the global jihad movement which currently plagues almost every corner of the planet. And from 1973 until today, what war was unable to do, suicidal negations "land for peace" has. And now with the United States threatening to intervene to force this 'land for peace' process, it seems that things are finally coming to a head. Bill Koenig has well chronicled nature's revolt when gentile nations began to mess with the 'apple of God's eye'. The occult seduction Around the same time that Israel became a nation; the Roswell Incident happened...and subsequently prompted an explosion into the fascination of the Science Fiction genre. Science Fiction quickly moved audiences toward the non-traditional forms of a newer genre focusing on men themselves becoming the monsters with such titles as Romero's Night of the Living Dead and Hitchcock's Psycho. And since that time as a nation, we have been increasingly exposed to more brutal and more graphic forms of entertainment. From movies, music, books and later video games, we have become a society more engrossed in blood and violence than were the Romans and their gladiators fighting in the Coliseum. We have become increasingly desensitized to the amount and types of violence. Much of modern horror has reached back into antiquity to dig out those deep mysteries and bring them to life on the big screen unleashing in the imaginations of men, deeply demonic mysteries and undertones. They unleash it, and then hide behind the labels of "entertainment" and "fiction", as if that shields them from the consequences of what they expose their audiences too. The occult has also made a comeback in America with Illuminati clothing, musicians parading around as demigods, superhero movies and shows, and video games that deal heavily in the occult. What was sensational 30 years ago, rarely rates being newsworthy today. We are continually finding new ways to shock. Not just with entertainment, but that is bleeding over into our news as well. Teens desensitized with violence and killing thanks to video games, hard music, anti-psychotic medication (pharmakia), and coached into a godless education without any moral compass. Then we wonder why they go on killing sprees? Murder is so common now, that it is no longer shocking. Murder of the unborn (which used to be called "child sacrifice") is now a routine medical procedure. Men and women kill their families, and children kill their parents, and no matter how gruesome a crime is, something else comes along to distract us from what is going on. But even with all this going on, God still intervenes, and the effective, fervent prayers of a righteous man availeth much. Now, imagine that the Holy Spirit's 'ministry of restraint' is removed from the earth, and you will see a world racked with a level of violence previously unseen. I believe this is in part, the 'mystery of iniquity'. Noah As we are getting closer to those fabled 'days of Noah', we should take notice of the warning that Jesus gives in Luke 17 concerning the time for when He will return. Life will have a sense of normalcy to it in 'buying and selling', etc. But Jesus being God knew what life was like back in Noah's day, so let's look at what Genesis 6 has to say about the days of Noah... Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose... There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown. Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. So God looked upon the earth, and indeed it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth. (Genesis 6:1-12 NKJV) There is much archeological and Biblical evidence to prove that the Nephilim once roamed the earth. The Bible mentions that giants (Goliath) existed both before and after the Flood. These weren't just tall men, but 'monster's of men' in whom I believe that much of Chaldean, Phoenician, Assyrian, Egyptian, Cretian, Greek, and Roman mythology stems from. I believe that God will allow this to happen once again. I don't think it will be through them mating with women, but it could be through science that we unlock something that wasn't meant to be done. But see here the four items that marked the days of Noah, and then compare them too today. 1.Demonic activity (fallen angels=sons of God) 2.Giants (hybrid offspring of angelic/human mating) 3.Great wickedness and corruption 4.Great violence Conclusion Certainly, we can see at least three of the four key indicators of Noah's day, today...yet, most would say that life today is normal. Granted, we don't have any giants roaming around, at least not any that we know of...yet. But the potential for that and a lot worse is on our horizon, as men seek to play god in science. Although it might seem fantastical today, I believe the Rapture will separate the age of reason from the age of signs and wonders, and that latter period will include a time when magic and monsters become a reality again. As Christians, we are called to be salt and light to a dark and dying world. When that day comes and true, born-again Christian's are removed via the Rapture, what will be left is man unrestrained. It will be the most horrific, violent time the earth has ever seen...even worse than in Noah's day. When Jesus gave His overview to His disciples at the Mount of Olives, the Church had not yet been formed. Nor did the disciples even know what the Church would be. In keeping with that thought, He tells them what the Tribulation will be like in a manner that surely would have shocked them, considering they were well versed with Noah and Lot... For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect's sake those days will be shortened. (Matthew 24:21-22) I may be speculating a bit on this last piece, but I tend to think that what the imagination of men releases in this age will become a reality in the final years mankind has left before Christ returns. In all that man has conjured up, whether ancient or modern, he has done so in an attempt to remove God from the equation, whether it be false religions or secret societies. Mankind is corrupt, but our corruption has been on steroids these last few decades and is currently picking up speed. We have entered an age again, where almost nothing is withheld from us; be it language, technology, communications, or travel. Our wickedness has almost succeeded in making what is evil, good, and good, evil. Once God removes His own, I believe, He will allow Satan, Antichrist, and the False Prophet to literally, bring hell on earth. Just as they have chosen their own ways, And their soul delights in their abominations, So will I choose their delusions, And bring their fears on them; Because, when I called, no one answered, When I spoke they did not hear; But they did evil before My eyes, And chose that in which I do not delight." (Isaiah 66:1-4)

    Jānis Avotiņš. Nospriegotā teritorijā Mākslinieks Jānis Avotiņš, kura darbs bijis iekļauts arī ABLV Bank kolekcijas izstādē, izveidojis pārliecinošu starptautisko karjeru Ar Jāni Avotiņu tiekamies, kad viņš tikko iepakojis jaunākos darbus, lai sūtītu uz Vīnes mākslas gadatirgu (VIENNAFAIR The New Contemporary), kurp tos ved Laikmetīgās mākslas centrs kim?. Pēdējās nedēļas Jānis nebija runājams – viss iegrimis darbā, nenāca arī uz ABLV Bank kolekcijas izstādes ...lai gadījums kļūtu par notikumu... atklāšanu Rīgas mākslas telpā, kaut gan tur izstādītas divas viņa gleznas. Izvēlas tāpēc, ka patīk Nav gluži sagadīšanās, ka viena no Vīnes gadatirgus radošajām direktorēm ir Vita Zāmane, lietuviešu izcelsmes kuratore ar žilbinošu starptautisko karjeru. Tieši viņa gandrīz pirms desmit gadiem bija ieradusies Rīgā, lai tiktos ar jaunajiem latviešu māksliniekiem un nolūkotu kādu savai nesen Londonā atvērtajai galerijai IBID. Tolaik jaunā dāma, kura nolēmusi no Austrumeiropas ielauzties starptautiskajā mākslas tirgū, līdzi ņemot vēl reģiona mākslu, likās vai nu diezgan traka, vai ļoti gudra (ar laiku attaisnojās otrā versija). Latvijā viņa runāja ar daudziem, izvēlējās – Jāni Avotiņu, kuram līdz tam bija notikusi tikai viena personālizstāde paša sarūpētās telpās (2003). Tomēr izvēle nebija uz labu laimi, un Avotiņš neuzskata, ka viņam būtu vienkārši paveicies. To apliecina viss, kas ar viņu noticis vēlāk: jau pirmajā mākslas gadatirgū Ķelnē, kur Jāni Avotiņu piedāvāja IBID, viņu ievēroja arī respektablā Minhenes galerija Rüdiger Shöttle. Pastāvīga sadarbība turpinājās ar abām, parādoties ar soloizstādēm arī Berlīnes Johnen un citur Eiropā, gan grupu izstādēs, arī ASV. Nesen 2012. gadā Avotiņa pārstāvju lokam piepulcējās arī Vera Munro Hamburgā, kur priekšā jau bija viens latvietis – Ēriks Apaļais. "Manus darbus neizvēlas vārda dēļ," apgalvo Jānis. "Izvēlas tāpēc, ka patīk." To viņš attiecina arī uz kolekcijām, kurās darbi nonāk: presē jau izskanējis, ka Avotiņa darbi iekļauti latviešu ausij zināmajā Saatchi Gallery (sk. J. Jerohomoviča interviju ar Jāni Avotiņu Māksliniekam ir tiesības uz suverēnu muļķību, Kultūras Diena, 22.11.2012.). Tomēr ne mazāks panākums ir itāļu fonda Sandretto un ievērojamā kuratora Frančesko Bonāmi izvēle, darbi Vācijas Federālajā laikmetīgās mākslas kolekcijā, Latvijas Nacionālajā mākslas muzejā un topošajā Laikmetīgās mākslas muzejā. Nesen Avotiņa gleznas parādījušās arī otrreizējo darījumu tirgū, par kuriem mākslinieks uzzina tikai pēc saņemtajām autoratlīdzībām. Austrumeiropas stils? Avotiņa jaunākie darbi būs skatāmi Vīnē Vitas Zāmanes kūrētajā projektā, jo šī prestižā mākslas tirgus fokuss šogad ir Austrumeiropa, Polija un Gruzija. Tomēr tas nenozīmē, ka Zāmane vilktu līdzi senus paziņas – abu sadarbība pat uz laiku pārtrūka, kad kuratores darbības lauks pārvietojās no Londonas IBID uz starptautiskiem plašumiem: Rietumos tiktu uzskatīts par sliktu toni, ja eksperts dotu iemeslu aizdomām par favorītismu (lieki teikt, ka Latvijā ir gluži otrādi). Tomēr īpaša ģeogrāfiskā piederība Avotiņa darbos ir pamanīta vairākkārt. Sākumā pat, skatoties uz mūsu acīm eiropeiski "kulturālajām" Avotiņa gleznām, iemesls nav saprotams. Piemēram, kad Saatchi galerija rīkoja vērienīgu postpadomju mākslas skati Bezrūpība ir Padomju Savienības ievērojamākā īpašība (Gaiety Is the Most Outstanding Feature of the Soviet Union, 2012–2013), varēja brīnīties, kā tur iederas Avotiņš, kurš dzimis 1981. gadā un PSRS sabrukumu piedzīvojis deviņu gadu vecumā. Es labi atceros 2012. gada 8. februāra vakaru, kad Jāni nejauši satiku Teātra bārā. Viņš atzinās, ka ir mazliet uztraukts, jo nākamajā dienā vajadzēja parādīties Time Out London recenzijai par viņa izstādi, nu jau trešo, IBID galerijā. Uztraukumu es atzinu par pamatotu, jo šāds medijs recenzē tikai atlasītus notikumus, kas varētu interesēt plašāku auditoriju par mākslas profesionāļu noslēgto loku. Un tādu nemaz nav pārāk daudz – "plašai auditorijai" domātajā globālajā izstāžu apritē dominē vieni un tie paši uzvārdi, kas ar katru parādīšanās reizi nostiprina pozīcijas un atkārtotu pieprasījumu pēc sevis. Ierosināju sagaidīt pusnakti, kad Time Out nākamās dienas versija jau parādās tīmeklī. (Starp citu, ievēroju, ka parastajās "bāra sarunās" Jānis nejūtas kā savā ādā, bet labprāt skaļi un kategoriski formulē viedokli par mākslas tēmām, par kurām savulaik izteicies gan blogā, gan sarakstē, gan acīmredzot atkal un atkal risina galvā. Varbūt tāpēc daudziem rodas iespaids par Avotiņu kā padrūmu tipu, kaut gan reizēm viņš smaida tīri holivudiski.) Pa to laiku bārā parādījās aktrises, jautrāka mūzika... Pusstundu pēc pusnakts mēs apmainījāmies e-pastiem – jau katrs no sa vām mājām –, ka lasām internetā vienu un to pašu tekstu. (Vai tiešām tolaik mums vēl nebija viedtālruņu?) "Tieši Austrumeiropā ir daudz mākslinieku, kas rada šāda veida darbus, – tas pēdējos gados ir kļuvis par sava veida lokālo stilu. Tad kas padara latviešu mākslinieka Jāņa Avotiņa darbus daudz interesantākus – tik izsmalcināti mainīgus, bet reizē drūmi konstatējošus?" retoriski jautā Time Out recenzents. Tas, protams, nav dziļākais komentārs par Avotiņa mākslu, bet pasaka uzreiz divas būtiskas lietas – mākslas darbs vienmēr pārstāv ne tikai sevi, bet vēl kaut ko – mākslinieku, reģionu, virzienu, stilu. Un tad ir atšķirība, vai autoru salīdzina ar kādu citu, pazīstamāku vai pašu pieņem par zīmi veselam kopumam. Šajā gadījumā – par zīmi reģionālam stilam, reizē arī uzsverot atšķirību – pārākumu par "vidējo līmeni". Nav grūti ievērot, ka visi kritiķi, kas mēģinājuši aprakstīt Jāņa Avotiņa mākslu, saskaras ar problēmu – tā nenoliedzami kaut ko attēlo (figūras, sejas, telpu, galu galā vecas fotogrāfijas, ar kurām mākslinieks strādā), tomēr ar tik skopiem un koncentrētiem līdzekļiem, ka vēlme atšifrēt saturu pārsviežas uz abstraktām formas kategorijām, pat tehnisko paņēmienu aprakstu. Avotiņa gleznu virsma ir salīdzināta gan ar miglu, gan pelniem, gan fotopapīru attīstīšanas stadijā, kad no tā iznirst tēlu aprises. Visprecīzāk, manuprāt, izteicies Jenss Asthofs katalogā, kas tika izdots Avotiņa retrospekcijai Āhenes muzejā Ludviga forums 2008. gadā: "Maniere, kuru nav iespējams reducēt vēl tālāk, bet nav iespējams arī aizstāt ar vārdiem" (Jens Athoff. Keeping silence, Looking Paintings by Jānis Avotiņš, Ludwig Forum, Āhene, katalogs, 2008, 79. lpp.). Prominentais Hamburgas kritiķis netieši raksturojis arī Avotiņa saiti ar tradīciju, kura atšķirībā no aktuālajiem strāvojumiem Rietumeiropā nav veidojusies uz skaidra koncepta bāzes, bet drīzāk dzejas, mūzikas, vizuālo tēlu pamata. Netic izvēlei "Es neticu pilnīgi brīvai izvēlei," saka Jānis, paskaidrojot, ka, viņaprāt, mākslinieka izvēli vienmēr ierobežo mentalitāte, piederība vietai un tradīcijai, no kuras cēlies, galu galā – fizikas likumi. "Skola vizuālajā mākslā Latvijā nozīmē amatnieciskas lietas – maz precedentu kam tādam, kas saistās ar idejām," viņš precizē. Tomēr atzīst, ka izmanto iemaņas, kādas guvis Jaņa Rozentāla mākslas skolā un mūsu Mākslas akadēmijā. "Visi mani darbi ir autobiogrāfiski kopumā, bet ne katrs atsevišķi." Avotiņš netiecas analizēt pats savu psihi, atzīstot, ka ir lietas, kur labāk nebāzt degunu. Toties par veiksmīgo starptautisko karjeru viņš saka tā: "Rādīt darbus projām no visām sentimentālajām vērtībām un vietām, un saiknēm, kas ir Latvijā, nozīmē nekorumpētu uztveri, kas ir vissvarīgāk. Darbu rādīšana nav atraujama no to darināšanas. Tie nav ne sev, ne visiem, tas ir nospriegojums. Tāpēc var teikt, ka stilu ir ietekmējis šis nospriegojums. Rādot darbus tikai Latvijā, nav nospriegojuma, jo mākslas ir daudz mazāk, nekā par tādu sauc; māksla nav viss, bet īsumā – noteiktība, precizitāte, superlokalitāte. Latvijā ar retiem izņēmumiem neviesojas un netiek mīlēta vizuālā māksla no citurienes. Turpretī "starptautiskā karjera" nozīmē vienlaikus gan brīvību, gan atbildību. Ja es darbus rādītu tikai Latvijā, tie nebūtu tādi, kādi tie veidojušies šajos gados." To sakot, Jānis saglabā ieilgušo intrigu, kad viņa darbi būs redzami vienkopus plašākā izstādē Rīgā.
