Aber die Vorbereitungen für 9/11 liefen schon längst - und so kam zur letzten Verhandlungsrunde auch kein einziger Talib mehr angereist. Wie lautete die US-Drohung so schön krass und offen: "Akzeptiert einen Teppich voll Gold - oder einen Bombenteppich." Wäre das ihr Niveau von Kommunikation, könnte man seitens der Taliban vom Stinkefinger sprechen... Aber das sind ja alles dumme Hinterwäldler, nicht wahr? Immerhin sind es Hinterwäldler, die bis drei zählen können, und die wissen, was Souveränität ist.
