dawah-news - Social Mention
I was born in Korea from Christian family. My father was old but they wanted son. so my parents prayed to God to give us son then we will grow him for God. even father put the meaning with he wanted me believing God good. After I convert to Islam, parents told me that when I was baby we lived in front of Masjid in Busan. And mother listen always Adhan. they prayed like that so Allah listen and guide me and made me muslim and now I spread Islam in Korea. And my mother also became muslim finally. Alhamdulillah! My father was work in far sea. He knew the bible very well more than minister and pray always hard in life of the sea. He was strong Christian and always said to me that I have to be strong believer for God and he told me that this life is nothing and short so must think always about afterlife. And he said we must follow God's book correctly. so our family even didn't eat pork. I was respect him and wanted strong believer like him. So from the child, I read always bible and prayed hard and even went preach competition from church and I was small. I went Christianity Middle school because parents wanted me become pastor. I leave family and lived in dormitory. But my body was weak as I born from old father and weak mother. Even there was bad students in the dormitory. They did so many bad things to me. Saying bad words, and took my money and things and even they were hit me even we was same age. And it was normal in dormitory to old student hit new. They gave us punishment every each night. I was so shocked how Christians can do like that. even they say always God is love. Why this people don't follow bible correctly. I was feel like this place is hell. But I was grow purely, I never know that people are evil like this so much. So I couldn't do anything. Just got a lot of hurt to body and mind. And finally one day I got a lot of pain in my body in dormitory. And they bring me to hospital. It was like acute peritonitis and I got gastritis because of stress. So I stayed in hospital a lot of month and got treatment without eat anything. My father was stop work in the sea and wanted care family good, but some Christian businessman cheat my father. Father did investment for future of family and for support me to enter university in Christianity. But that businessman just took my father's all money and run away. And my family lose all money. And after little one day I got strong pain in stomach and went to emergency room in hospital. They did surgery because I got an ulcer in Twelve Earthly Branches but even had tresis also, so all foods are spread to my body. After surgery I coudnlt wake up and my parents think that I'm die. But after long day I woke up and God gave me new life Alhamdulillah, And when I just start high school they sent me to Seoul, which is very far from Busan. I started live alone from that time. That school was also Christianity school. and I again started lived in dormitory in school. After little my parents divorced. and father didn't care me anymore. Students are still bad and stealing my things and hit me. Life in dormitory was like hell again. That time I realized that the Christians are not like Jesus. And that Christianity is not correct religion. and world is so much evil. I started work for survive from high school. And coudnlt go university because of no have money. After graduate high school I did many hard works. I was hard not because of just poor life without family. I was so hard because of lose truth. I was born in strong Christian family and follow bible and grow purely with believing God. but I realized that Christianity is not the true God's religion. I went many churches and asked questions to find the truth. But I found only that the Christianity is not follow Bible correct and I found also Bible have a lot of mistakes. Finally I refused the Idea that Jesus is God. I thought that Christianity is not true God's religion and that Church are cheat people. I was born as Christian and thought that this is truth. So I follow the bible and lived as pure but after I realized this is all fake I was so sad. I did sujud because of feel hard. And I prayed "if God is really alive, please guide me to the truth!" and after little I read book in library about religion of whole world. And I found in there introduce about Islam that Islam is God's religion and from Ibrahim as Christianity and Judaism, but Muslims dont worship Jesus as God. and Quran is God's words and it's protected in Arabic Original. I never know that Islam believe in God and Quran is God's words. That's why I didn't studied about Islam. So finally I started study about Islam finally. I visit many library and read all books about Islam. It was hard to find books about Islam so I visit many library. And I found there is one masjid in Seoul. So I went and started study Islam in every week. When I listen that God is only one and listen about prophets, I was so amazed and happy to found truth religion finally. And I became Muslim almost after one month directly. It was December 30th, 2009 and I was born in April 30th, 1986 and that time my parents prayed to God. it was long time and suffered a lot. But because of this I found Islam and became more happy for this. I thanks to Allah to guide me to Islam. Alhamdulillahi rabbil aalameen. ------------------------------------------------------- After became muslim, I decided to spread Islam in Korea. As Korean people don't know the truth. And I thought that I have to tell to family before I spread to whole Korea. So I call to mother and said that I became Muslim and I said "I bear witness that there is no deity other than Allah and that Muhammad is his Messenger. And Jesus is not son of God and also not God. but he is just Messenger of God." then I call to father also and when I say now there is a lot of problem in churches and Christians are not believe God correctly. And they just love money and this life. We must worship God alone. and father said "you are right, I'm proud of you that you became true believer." And when I say I learnt this from Islam and I became Muslim, he just say like other Korean people, why Islam? Don't do Islam. But I found the truth, so even parents don't order me to don't follow Islam I just keep my faith and then I started Spread Islam in Korea. I spend all my time for spread Islam. Also many Korean people accepted Islam by me But I don't want to say really about that. Because I fear Allah, I don't want to do Riya. Just I will show my biography with timeline only for introduce myself. 2009, On the 26th of November, that time I was not muslim but I felt Islam is true religion, but I coudnlt find any information in Korean. There have some website but not many information. so I built myself an online community under the name ' A United World in Islam' in Korea's most popular portal site called Naver. I was the first administrator. When it's near almost 1000 members (and they are all Korean who interest in Islam). But when I came to Saudi Arabia to study Islam I gave my administrator to other Korean muslim because I wanted this community become more activity by help of many muslims. And I don't wanted force people as it's very famous and strong online community and we never got this big Islamic community in Korea. So I don't wanted Korean muslims think that I want some power. so gave this community for Korean Ummah. 2009 ,On the 30th of December I became a Muslim. 2010 , On the 19th of February I began working at 'Islamic Book Centre & Adam Publishing House'. I was sell Islamic books and also Introduce Islam to all Korean visitors. 2010 , On the 6th of April, I was interviewed by KBS (Korean Broadcasting System) for KBS 10 depth report on 'Muslims in Korea'. This was my first interview as a Muslim. I said in there that I convert to Islam by my choice and I told to father that I became Muslim. And I want spread Islam in Korea. it was short interview but was very strong message. Alhamdulilah. 2010 . On the 13th of April, I began studying Islam in Rabita Anyang Masjid from a Libyan and a Tunisian brother and Bangladesh brothers was help me to stay in rabita masjid. 2010 . On the 17th of April, I self launched a Korean Islamic website called www.koreaislam.com, under the title of 'Islam for Korean'. I made it because there was no activity Korean Islamic website. So I tried to make big website and write many articles. I did myself and spend a lot of times. And finally it was ranked top in all Korean portal website. And a lot of people was visited. When I came to Saudi Arabia I coundt managed more because no body was help me. And also I don't have enough time. But I connected domain to my blog and it will continue, insha' Allah 2010 , On the 7th of May, the website I launched (www.koreaislam.com) gained media attention and was introduced at 'Weekly Muslim' Number 969. 2010 , On the 10th of May, the website I launched was supported with www.islamkorea.org and koreaislam.net an English-Korean website to compare and contrast Islam and Christianity. it was until when I came to Saudi Arabia for study Islam. I will make connection with new blog with koreaislam.net because I don't have any support and now I cant manage all big websites myself. But it will be easy with blog insha' Allah 2010 On the 19th of July, I became a reading Quran student taught under Imam Abdul Rashid who studied in Lybia. And when I came to Saudi Arabia to study Islam he came back to his county Thailand. May Allah protect him and reward him good in both life. aameen 2010 On the 24th of July, I was interviewed by TRANS7, an Indonesian broadcasting channel. This interview was on my conversion from a Christian to a Muslim. 2010 After I built the online community 'A United World in Islam', on the 25th of July, I invited the three online communities, Naver, Nate and Daum to the Islamic centre and introduced Islam to them. 2010 On the 28th of July, I became a Muadhin voluntarily at Seoul Central Masjid. 2010 On the 17th of August, I was interviewed by a Christian Broadcasting channel, CGNTV. Their interest in interviewing me was a result of my initial interview with KBS channel. In this interview, I gave an insight into what 'Ramadan' is and what it is like to fast. 2010 On the 3rd of September, I won 1st place in Qur'an recitation competition held at Seoul Central Masjid. 2010 On the 29th of September, I appeared on KBS 1TV , Special documentary called "Biggest festival in Islam" , in the documentary I introduce about Ramadan and Islam long time. And show them how is new Korean muslim doing practice of Islam. 2011 On the 1st of January, an official Islamic Information Centre was established in Seoul city, Itaewon. also After I cameback to Saudi Arabia for study Islam it was moved to other place. 2011 On the 29th of January, I held the first meeting for Islam Information Centre. In this occasion, alhamdulilah, and many people took their shahada. 2011 21/02 I appeared in an interview which was published in the most famous newspaper in Korea, (Chosun Ilbo, Issue Number: 28039, in the Section of People A27 - 21/02/2011). The column was titled ' 26-year old Islamic preacher youth - 'Wants to break the prejudice' and was based on what my life was like and how I became a Muslim, and was also questioned about my dawah activities. 2011 In this second meeting of the Islam Information Centre which was held on the 27th of February, I invited Koreans interested in Islam and Korean Muslims in order to teach them the importance of Islam, how to support dawah work. I also gave them insight into my 'Online Dawah' work. 2011 On the 10th of March, I started to work in an online Islamic chat line (www.chatislamonline.org) for the Korean Language. The website is one of the projects of the World Wide Association for Introducing Islam (W.W.A.I.I.). works in association with the "World Muslim League" in Makkah. (Rabita) 2011 - Herald Business Interview: Took place on the 3rd of May, it was a very important interview, as I had to explain the truth about Islam and how Islam has no connections with terror and in fact Islam condemns terror. This raised the interest of Islam to Koreans. 2011 - Hankyoreh Interview (The Young souls connected with Shahada): This was a series of interview on Muslims in Korea and how many young Koreans are accepting Islam as their faith. I was questioned on my online dawah activity, my Islamic community and the Islamic Information Centre that I opened, in which within 4 months, 40 young Koreans became Muslims by taking their Shahada. To recent date, there is almost 1000 members in the online Islamic community. 2012 - Seeking knowledge abroad: On the 27th of January I embarked on a new journey and travelled to Madinah, Saudi Arabia to study at Islamic University of Madinah. 2012 - MK News Interview : Held on 9th of July by a journalist of Maeil Business News Paper. This took place through chatislamonline.org and was interviewed via chatting. And there is also news about me from from Saudi Arabia. You can check in google by searching Abdurraouf Alkoree. you will find many articles and news from blogs and websites from all arab world. I just did my best all by myself as much as I can and I used every tools by media, tv, radio,internet ect Because Korean people don't know anything about Islam. and Korea don't have any Islamic madrasa or strong association for dawah. and no have good Islamic books in Korea and online community or website. It was like emergency because many Korean astray without knowing Islam but nobody doing da'wah! So I started da'wah directly even I was new muslim. Because I know how Korean people need Islam. when I was Christian I really wanted know the truth. but It was really hard to find information about Islam. and when I asked help to know about Islam nobody was help me except some of foreigner muslims. And I got a lot of suffered when I doing da'wah. After I showing me from public tv in Korea, many Koreans started know me, and Christians started hate me a lot. Even someone send me message in blog and said "if you not stop to spreading Islam I will kill you." But I never scared but become more strong for Allah and write a lot of articles about Islam in Korean. I made blog and community from all Korean portal site. And I made twitter, facebook pages, youtube channel all of it. There was no Islamic pages in Korean so I did all. I did all of things with using all of tools for spread Islam even little more. That's why people hate me and say bad words but I never give up. But when muslims say bad words to me that I am extremist I was so hard and sad. many Hasad and bad words from muslims. Just because of reason that I just wanted speak about Islam and Allah and follow Quran and Sunnah only. I said to people many time, that we need at least start online activity as Korea is strong in IT, and all Korean people using internet good. All of religion in Korea they doing activity by online and bring many people but only Islam don't have any ativity. So I suggest that we need do it now. But nobody was listen me. So I just did all by myself even I'm not one who work in masjid. But I never said about them badly. Because I fear Allah. I don't want speak more. but Allah knows my mind how I wanted make strong Islam in Korea. I really wanted follow truth from my child. And finally I found the truth. So I was so happy and had a full of passion. So I did all da'wah very activity even nobody help me. But I got also many hurt from it. And now I know its because no had knowledge of Islam. and I was new muslim also. At the same time some of muslims suggest me about Sufism. They said, muslims are not kind and bad but sufi are different. So you must learn Islam from sufi because that is true Islam. but I found only wandering from it. They made a lot of bida and

Sunni and Shia represent the two main sects of Islam. The sectarian divide has its origins dating back to the earliest days of Islam, following the death of Prophet Mohammed in 632. At the time it was a political split on who should be the Prophet's successor. The choice was between his closest lieutenant, Abu Bakr, and his cousin and son-in-law, Ali. Those who agreed on the latter went on to be known as Shia, and those who were in favor of the former became the Sunnis. In essence, Sunnis believe in the caliph, who is decided upon by consensus of Muslims, while the Shiites believe in the imam, who is divinely ordained and has to be from the family of the Prophet. Since then (and after the founding of Iran), Sunni Saudi Arabia and Shia Iran have been locked in a competition for the leadership in the Middle East. The struggle is not purely religious but also geopolitical, and in the middle is the United States trying to keep a balance in the region. While Washington doesn't favor one over the other, it has recently changed its strategy with its longtime rival, Iran, and in turn has upset its regional ally, Saudi Arabia. The United States wants to use Iran and its Shiite allies to keep Sunni radicalism in check, but it's also cooperating with moderate Salafist-jihadists to prevent Iran from taking a preponderant role in the region.

Jeg forstår hans følelser langt hen af vejen. Jeg er ikke salafist. Jeg er født alevi men lever en ateist tilværelse. Den eneste forskel på mig og ateisterne er at jeg tror på gud. Og jeg er godt tilfreds med det! Men kan sætte mig ind i ham her salifistens følelser langt hen af vejen!

The Middle East Now Has Three Alliances: None Are With the U.S. Turkey and Iran's move to form an Islamist super-bloc is changing the balance of the Middle East. Egypt and Saudi Arabia have chosen to lead an Arab bloc of their own, rather than capitulate to their enemies' dominance. Our last analysis of this development explained that three distinct blocs were formed since the Muslim Brotherhood was toppled in Egypt: 1. The Shiite bloc consisting of Iran, Hezbollah, Iraq and the Syrian regime. 2. The pro-Muslim Brotherhood Sunni bloc, consisting of Turkey, Qatar, Tunisia, Hamas and some Syrian rebels. 3. The anti-Iran/anti-Brotherhood Sunni bloc consisting of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, other Syrian rebels and other Arab countries. The first two blocs are on opposite sides in the Syrian civil war, but are hoping to negotiate a ceasefire that allows them to mend ties. The third bloc feels so threatened by the other two that Saudi Arabia is widely rumored to be offering Israel access to its airspace to strike Iran's nuclear facilities. Clarion Project was recently told by an intelligence source that the Saudis and Israelis have moved "beyond talking" and there will likely be on-the-ground preparations for this scenario soon. The Syrian civil war had put Turkey and Iran at odds, but the prolonged stalemate is compelling the two governments to look for a way forward. The Turkish Foreign Minister was recently in Tehran, where he said they agreed to push for a ceasefire. He also said Turkey and Iran will "join hands" to be "the backbone of regional stability." Both sides are bleeding and spending heavily in the Syrian civil war and the demographic realities make it difficult to envision either side prevailing. Syria is likely to be divided with the Iran-allied regime holding onto the Allawite and Christian areas and the rebel-controlled Sunni areas winning autonomy. Turkey will have to twist the Syrian Muslim Brotherhood's arms to make this happen. The group refuses to negotiate with Iran and claims it rejected a recent offer from Iran to pressure Assad into stepping down from power in return for reconciliation. That is a huge concession. The last reported offer from Iran came in January 2012, when it was willing to hand the Syrian government to the Brotherhood as long as Assad remains at the helm. Now, if the Syrian Brotherhood is telling the truth, the Iranian regime is willing to push Assad aside. Unfortunately for Turkey and Iran, the Brotherhood is unwilling to be seen as a sell-out. The third bloc led by Saudi Arabia is not giving up on overthrowing Assad and is using its proxies to become the dominant Syrian rebel force. The Saudis arranged for rebel units to break away from the Free Syria Army to form the Salafist-led "Army of Islam." This Salafist force represents the Saudi brand of Islam but is opposed to Al-Qaeda, an enemy of the Saudi Royal Family. The Army of Islam is the beginning of Saudi Arabia's plan to build a 40-50,000 strong national army. The Saudis imported Pakistani instructors to train 5-10,000 of them and have set up training centers in Jordan. The nuclear deal with Iran heightened the tension between these blocs. As the deal was being finalized, an Iran-backed militia in Iraq fired mortar shells into Saudi Arabia. It said that it was retaliation for Saudi Arabia's anti-Shiite agitation. "If they continue their provocations, we will carry out armed operations inside Saudi territories," the militia threatened. After the deal was announced, the Saudis abandoned their polite protests of American policy and became downright hostile. Prominent Saudis openly told the press that their country will chart a course independent of the U.S. "Appeasement hasn't worked in the past, and I don't think it will work in the 21st century," the Saudi ambassador to the U.K. said. It's long been an open secret that the Saudis funded the Pakistani nuclear weapons' program with the understanding that Pakistan would send over nukes if requested. When asked about this deal, the ambassador said, "Let's just leave it there, all options are available." The deal also provides an opportunity for Iran to entice other countries with lucrative trade deals. The Iranians are trying to lure Pakistan by finishing a major gas pipeline. Turkey says its banks will again be able to make transactions with Iran and will increase their Iranian oil imports to 130-140,000 barrels per day from the current level of 105,000. Turkish imports of Iranian oil were at 180,000 barrels per day before the sanctions were implemented. The two countries are also restarting their gold trade. The recent Egyptian-Turkish spat is a consequence of this escalating contest. Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan continues to rail against the current Egyptian regime for the overthrow of the Muslim Brotherhood. He is allowing the Brotherhood to set up a new television station in his country called "Rabia" with the slogan, "Pulse of freedom." Eypt expelled the Turkish ambassador in retaliation for Erdogan's pro-Brotherhood rhetoric and Turkey responded by declaring the Egyptian ambassador to be persona non-grata. This dispute will intensify if the Egyptian government follows through on its aspiration to ban the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization. The Gulf Cooperation Council members except Qatar are trying to stabilize the Egyptian economy. Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates immediately pledged $12 billion in assistance after the Brotherhood was toppled. The new Egyptian government returned $2 billion of it. The United Arab Emirates is encouraging companies to invest in Egypt and is hiring Egyptian teachers that support the new regime. The Egyptian regime has also used the UAE to replace Qatar's role in developing the Suez Canal. Qatar, on the other hand, continues to act as the Muslim Brotherhood's bank. The U.S. "ally" provided the Brotherhood-led Egypt with $7.5 billion in assistance but is now absent. Qatar has made it clear whose side it is on, and Saudi Arabia tried to organize a condemnation of its behavior in Egypt and Yemen. Qatar is coming to the aid of the weakened Islamist government of Tunisia. The Ennahda Party that leads Tunisia is facing popular protests and may be overthrown. The Qatari National Bank recently agreed to loan it $500 million. The Moroccan government is poised to play a potentially decisive role in this geopolitical and ideological contest. It is hostile to Iran and fears its own Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated opposition. King Mohammed VI managed to contain the country's own Arab Spring uprising and protests have faded. "We can be a model. We can export our reforms and our vision," says the Deputy Foreign Minister. Morocco is helping the West with ideologically combating Islamist extremism in Mali. The Mali government picked up to 500 imams to go there for education. The geopolitical position of Morocco places it in the third camp, but how long will Saudi Arabia tolerate Morocco's promotion of a competing ideology? U.S. policy is in a state of fatal contradiction. The White House favors the pro-Brotherhood bloc and is trying to build a better relationship with Iran. This stance has alienated the bloc whose interests most closely align with ours. Egypt is now embracing Russia and Saudi Arabia is openly saying it needs to stop relying on the U.S. The Middle East is now divided into three alliances and none of them are with the U.S.

„Muslime aller Länder vereinigt Euch!" Heute schreibe ich ausnahmsweise nur an meine muslimischen Freunde. Die muslimische Welt ist zurzeit Opfer einer gefährlichen Strategie einiger Politiker des Westens. Sie lautet: „Divide et impera" – „Teile und herrsche!" Sie funktioniert, weil einige Muslime törichterweise begeistert mitmachen. Saudi-Arabien macht mobil gegen Iran (und umgekehrt), und Sunniten und Alawiten bekämpfen sich in Syrien bis aufs Blut. Auch in anderen muslimischen Ländern kracht es zunehmend zwischen den einzelnen Glaubensrichtungen. Die Feinde der Muslime im Westen freuen sich diebisch, dass sich die Muslime jetzt gegenseitig umbringen. Das erspart ihnen viel Mühe und Arbeit. Das augenblickliche Schauspiel erinnert erschreckend an die Zeit des „Dreißigjährigen Krieges", als sich Deutschland im Kampf des Protestantismus gegen den Katholizismus selbst zerstörte. Deutschlands Nachbarn mischten dabei kräftig mit. Unser Land brauchte hundert Jahre, um sich von den unvorstellbaren Verwüstungen wieder zu erholen. Wenn ich in ein muslimisches Land reise, gibt es für mich keine Sunniten, Schiiten, Alawiten, Ismaeliten, Wahabiten oder Salafisten. Für mich sind sie alle Angehörige einer großen Religion, die ich respektiere und in vielem bewundere: Für die großen kulturellen Leistungen ihrer Geschichte, die auch die westliche Zivilisation jahrhundertelang bereichert haben. Und für ihre wunderbare Gastfreundschaft und Herzlichkeit, mit der sie friedliche Fremde auch in schweren Zeiten empfangen. Dass sie sich auf westliches Kommando zunehmend bekriegen, macht mich todtraurig. Die Zukunft der muslimischen und der arabischen Welt liegt nicht im Streit, sondern in der Einigkeit. In einem neuen Verständnis panislamischer und panarabischer Ideen. Die USA sind stark, weil sie die "Vereinigten" Staaten von Amerika sind. Und Europa, weil es endlich eine "Union" ist. Nachdem es sich in zwei Weltkriegen gegenseitig so zertrümmert hatte, dass die USA Europas Führungsrolle in der Welt übernehmen konnten. In der Welt der Zukunft werden die arabischen und islamischen Länder nur dann eine angemessene Rolle spielen, wenn sie sich nicht länger auseinander dividieren lassen. Wenn sie enger zusammenarbeiten. Wirtschaftlich, kulturell, politisch und religiös. Wenn sie sich als Freunde, als Verbündete betrachten und nicht als Feinde. Wenn sie wieder das Gemeinsame ihrer Religion betonen und nicht das Trennende. Wenn alle muslimischen Glaubensrichtungen tolerant zueinander sind. "Kämpferisch tolerant", engagiert, aber gewaltlos. Das gilt selbstverständlich auch für die Muslime der westlichen Welt. Ich glaube, dass Prophet Mohammed ähnlich gedacht hat. Und dass er erwartet hätte, dass die unterschiedlichen islamischen Glaubensrichtungen unserer Zeit enger zusammenarbeiten. Er hätte das wahrscheinlich viel drastischer formuliert als ich. Das gilt auch für den Konflikt Saudi-Arabien mit Iran. Wenn einer amerikanisch-iranischen Aussöhnung jetzt eine strategische Partnerschaft zwischen dem sunnitischen Saudi-Arabien und dem schiitischen Iran folgen würde, wäre dies ein historischer Durchbruch für die gesamte islamische Welt. Der Streit zwischen diesen beiden Regionalmächten ist völlig kontraproduktiv. Das Erfolgsrezept des Islam, der am schnellsten wachsenden Religion unserer Zeit, heißt nicht: „Muslime aller Länder bringt Euch gegenseitig um", sondern: „Muslime aller Länder vereinigt Euch." Euer Jürgen Todenhöfer "Muslims of all countries: Unite!" Today, for once and as an exception I do address my Muslim friends only. Currently, the Muslim world is falling victim to a dangerous strategy developed by some politicians in the West. The essence of this policy reads in Latin, as follows: "divide et impera" - "Divide and Rule". And today it does work, because some Muslims do fall for it enthusiastically and foolishly. Saudi Arabia and Qatar are mobilizing against Iran (and vice versa) and the Sunnis and the Alawites in Syria are fighting against each other to the death. In other Muslim countries, the relations between the individual faiths are becoming more and more tense. The enemies of Muslims in the West are taking huge pleasure in the fact that Muslims do kill each other now; this does save them a lot of effort and work. The current and extremely appalling spectacle brings to one's mind the time of the Thirty Years' War, when Germany totally destroyed itself in its battle of Protestantism against Catholicism; and beware, Germany's neighbors were heavily involved in that war. Our country needed a century to recover from the unimaginable devastations. When I travel to a Muslim country, I do not see Sunnis, Shiites, Alawites, Ismailis, Wahabis or Salafis. To me, they are all members of a great religion. I respect and do admire them in many aspects for the great cultural achievements in their history, which immensely enriched the western civilization. And I admire them for their wonderful hospitality and warmth with which they do welcome peaceful strangers even in difficult times. The very fact that they increasingly fight against each other on western command (!) deeply saddens me. The future of the Muslim and Arab world does not lie in dispute, but in its unity, in a new interpretation of the pan-Islamic and the pan-Arab ideas. The United States are strong because they are the United States of America, and Europe, because there is finally a "Union", after Europe had demolished itself in two world wars so that the U.S. could realize her old dream to take over Europe's role and become herself the world's number one power. Arab and Islamic countries will only play an appropriate role in the world-to-be, if they do not allow themselves to be divided. if they cooperate more closely, economically, culturally and politically. If they look at each other as friends, as allies rather than enemies. If they emphasize the common ground of their religion and not the dividing rifts. If all Muslim denominations are tolerant towards each other. Yes, "spiritedly tolerant", and yes passionately tolerant, but at the same time non-violent! This also applies to the Muslims in the western world. I believe that Prophet Muhammad must have thought similarly and that he would have expected the various Islamic denominations of our time to work together more closely. I assume he would have formulated this in a much more drastic manner than I do. This also applies to the conflict between Iran and Saudi Arabia. If a strategic partnership between Sunni Saudi Arabia and Shiite Iran would ensue in the context of the US-Iranian reconciliation, then this would be a historical breakthrough for the entire Islamic world. The dispute between these two regional powers is completely counterproductive. The recipe of success for Islam, the fastest growing religion of our time is not to say: "Muslims of all countries: Go on and kill each other" but "Muslims of the world: Unite!" Die Ahrar al-Shaam Bewegung (möge Allahs sie rechtleiten oder für immer vernichten) und der islamische Staat Irak und Sham sind vor einem Scharia-Gericht gezogen. Die Leute von der Ahrar al-Shaam töteten zuvor drei Brüder von der ISIS an einem ihrer Checkpoints, woraufhin die Mudschahidien-Brüder der ISIS sechs von ihnen vernichteten. Ya3ni, eine große Fitna. Möge Allah swt. uns davor bewahren und beschützen. Was soll man dazu noch weiter sagen .. astaghfirullah, es sind die verfluchten Saudi-Schnurbartträger, die auf dem Schlachtfeld für Fitna Sorgen mit ihren aufgebauten Organisationen. Inschallah schließen sich alle Geschwister, die an Allah und seinen Gesandten glauben und nur den reinen Islam wollen, sich dem ISIS an und hören endlich auf Hilfe von den Kuffr-Staaten wie Saudi-Arabien anzunehmen. Hollywoodstars satt, europäische Klasseschauspieler in Filmen mit Tiefgang, mit Humor oder auch mit jeder Menge Action. Dazu schräge Komik, Animation, Bestseller-Verfilmungen und Streifen, an denen sich Kritik und Zuschauergunst scheiden. Was für ein Filmjahr.
„Muslime aller Länder vereinigt Euch!" Heute schreibe ich ausnahmsweise nur an meine muslimischen Freunde. Die muslimische Welt ist zurzeit Opfer einer gefährlichen Strategie einiger Politiker des Westens. Sie lautet: „Divide et impera" – „Teile und herrsche!" Sie funktioniert, weil einige Muslime törichterweise begeistert mitmachen. Saudi-Arabien macht mobil gegen Iran (und umgekehrt), und Sunniten und Alawiten bekämpfen sich in Syrien bis aufs Blut. Auch in anderen muslimischen Ländern kracht es zunehmend zwischen den einzelnen Glaubensrichtungen. Die Feinde der Muslime im Westen freuen sich diebisch, dass sich die Muslime jetzt gegenseitig umbringen. Das erspart ihnen viel Mühe und Arbeit. Das augenblickliche Schauspiel erinnert erschreckend an die Zeit des „Dreißigjährigen Krieges", als sich Deutschland im Kampf des Protestantismus gegen den Katholizismus selbst zerstörte. Deutschlands Nachbarn mischten dabei kräftig mit. Unser Land brauchte hundert Jahre, um sich von den unvorstellbaren Verwüstungen wieder zu erholen. Wenn ich in ein muslimisches Land reise, gibt es für mich keine Sunniten, Schiiten, Alawiten, Ismaeliten, Wahabiten oder Salafisten. Für mich sind sie alle Angehörige einer großen Religion, die ich respektiere und in vielem bewundere: Für die großen kulturellen Leistungen ihrer Geschichte, die auch die westliche Zivilisation jahrhundertelang bereichert haben. Und für ihre wunderbare Gastfreundschaft und Herzlichkeit, mit der sie friedliche Fremde auch in schweren Zeiten empfangen. Dass sie sich auf westliches Kommando zunehmend bekriegen, macht mich todtraurig. Die Zukunft der muslimischen und der arabischen Welt liegt nicht im Streit, sondern in der Einigkeit. In einem neuen Verständnis panislamischer und panarabischer Ideen. Die USA sind stark, weil sie die "Vereinigten" Staaten von Amerika sind. Und Europa, weil es endlich eine "Union" ist. Nachdem es sich in zwei Weltkriegen gegenseitig so zertrümmert hatte, dass die USA Europas Führungsrolle in der Welt übernehmen konnten. In der Welt der Zukunft werden die arabischen und islamischen Länder nur dann eine angemessene Rolle spielen, wenn sie sich nicht länger auseinander dividieren lassen. Wenn sie enger zusammenarbeiten. Wirtschaftlich, kulturell, politisch und religiös. Wenn sie sich als Freunde, als Verbündete betrachten und nicht als Feinde. Wenn sie wieder das Gemeinsame ihrer Religion betonen und nicht das Trennende. Wenn alle muslimischen Glaubensrichtungen tolerant zueinander sind. "Kämpferisch tolerant", engagiert, aber gewaltlos. Das gilt selbstverständlich auch für die Muslime der westlichen Welt. Ich glaube, dass Prophet Mohammed ähnlich gedacht hat. Und dass er erwartet hätte, dass die unterschiedlichen islamischen Glaubensrichtungen unserer Zeit enger zusammenarbeiten. Er hätte das wahrscheinlich viel drastischer formuliert als ich. Das gilt auch für den Konflikt Saudi-Arabien mit Iran. Wenn einer amerikanisch-iranischen Aussöhnung jetzt eine strategische Partnerschaft zwischen dem sunnitischen Saudi-Arabien und dem schiitischen Iran folgen würde, wäre dies ein historischer Durchbruch für die gesamte islamische Welt. Der Streit zwischen diesen beiden Regionalmächten ist völlig kontraproduktiv. Das Erfolgsrezept des Islam, der am schnellsten wachsenden Religion unserer Zeit, heißt nicht: „Muslime aller Länder bringt Euch gegenseitig um", sondern: „Muslime aller Länder vereinigt Euch." Currently, the Muslim world is falling victim to a dangerous strategy developed by some politicians in the West. The essence of this policy reads in Latin, as follows: "divide et impera" - "Divide and Rule". And today it does work, because some Muslims do fall for it enthusiastically and foolishly. Saudi Arabia and Qatar are mobilizing against Iran (and vice versa) and the Sunnis and the Alawites in Syria are fighting against each other to the death. In other Muslim countries, the relations between the individual faiths are becoming more and more tense. The enemies of Muslims in the West are taking huge pleasure in the fact that Muslims do kill each other now; this does save them a lot of effort and work. The current and extremely appalling spectacle brings to one's mind the time of the Thirty Years' War, when Germany totally destroyed itself in its battle of Protestantism against Catholicism; and beware, Germany's neighbors were heavily involved in that war. Our country needed a century to recover from the unimaginable devastations. When I travel to a Muslim country, I do not see Sunnis, Shiites, Alawites, Ismailis, Wahabis or Salafis. To me, they are all members of a great religion. I respect and do admire them in many aspects for the great cultural achievements in their history, which immensely enriched the western civilization. And I admire them for their wonderful hospitality and warmth with which they do welcome peaceful strangers even in difficult times. The very fact that they increasingly fight against each other on western command (!) deeply saddens me. The future of the Muslim and Arab world does not lie in dispute, but in its unity, in a new interpretation of the pan-Islamic and the pan-Arab ideas. The United States are strong because they are the United States of America, and Europe, because there is finally a "Union", after Europe had demolished itself in two world wars so that the U.S. could realize her old dream to take over Europe's role and become herself the world's number one power. Arab and Islamic countries will only play an appropriate role in the world-to-be, if they do not allow themselves to be divided. if they cooperate more closely, economically, culturally and politically. If they look at each other as friends, as allies rather than enemies. If they emphasize the common ground of their religion and not the dividing rifts. If all Muslim denominations are tolerant towards each other. Yes, "spiritedly tolerant", and yes passionately tolerant, but at the same time non-violent! This also applies to the Muslims in the western world. I believe that Prophet Muhammad must have thought similarly and that he would have expected the various Islamic denominations of our time to work together more closely. I assume he would have formulated this in a much more drastic manner than I do. This also applies to the conflict between Iran and Saudi Arabia. If a strategic partnership between Sunni Saudi Arabia and Shiite Iran would ensue in the context of the US-Iranian reconciliation, then this would be a historical breakthrough for the entire Islamic world. The dispute between these two regional powers is completely counterproductive. The recipe of success for Islam, the fastest growing religion of our time is not to say: "Muslims of all countries: Go on and kill each other" but "Muslims of the world: Unite!" Im Zentrum der Kritik steht der Umstand, dass die BAZ in einem Artikel zur Christenverfolgung – erschienen vor Ostern 2013 – den deutschen "Islamhasser" Michael Mannheimer (kl. Foto) zitierte. Dieser beschrieb in den zitieren Passagen ein "Szenario schlimmster Christenverfolgung", als deren Ursache er den Islam und nicht den Islamismus nannte. Mannheimers Analyse käme zum Schluss, dass die Mehrheit der Muslime "nicht wegen, sondern trotz des Islam" friedlich sei. Mannheimer beschreibt – Zitat aus dem beanstandeten BAZ-Artikel – den Islam folgendermaßen: «Der Islam, so friedlich er auch dreinblicken kann, hat in seiner radikalsten Ausprägung ein anderes Gesicht. Mehr als 200 junge Männer aus Deutschland sollen nach Syrien gereist sein. Die Bundesanwaltschaft sieht in den Rückkehrern aus dem Bürgerkrieg eine neue Gefahr für die innere Sicherheit. Konkrete Anschlagspläne gebe es bislang jedoch nicht.

Unsere Kritiker werfen uns vor, nicht zwischen Islam und Islamismus zu unterscheiden.
"In der Befragung lehnten fast 60 Prozent der Muslime Homosexuelle als Freunde ab. Jeweils 45 Prozent zeigten sich überzeugt, dass man Juden nicht trauen könne und dass der Westen den Islam zerstören wolle." Zu letzterem bliebe anzumerken: Schön wär's.

Für zwei Drittel der Befragen sind religiöse Gesetze wichtiger als staatliche. 45 Prozent trauen keinen Juden. Auch Christen wurden befragt.
Stimmt … was aber alle Religionen genau gegenteilig sehen - WIR sind die Krönung der Schöpfung ! Ich würde sagen, dass sich die Menschheit als sehr üble Laune der Natur entwickelt hat, die innerhalb weniger Jahrzehnte fortwährend alles zerstört. Die Natur ist am Sterben, die wilden Tiere am Gehen !

Ja, jetzt ist schon wieder was passiert und mein Mitgefühl gilt all den Eltern, die sich ihre Kinder von machtgeilen Sektierern stehlen lassen müssen, nur damit diese auch weiterhin wie die Made im Speck leben können und man wird wohl auch weiterhin auf Leichen wandeln, steht ja schon das nächste "Event" (diesmal in Hamburg) an, auf dass nach gelungener Hirnwäsche wieder ein paar Sinnsuchende in den sicheren Tod laufen:

Ja, die Welt wird immer kränklicher und (fast) alle sehen zu und maximal ein Achselzucken ist den meisten solch Irrsinn wert, weswegen auch weiterhin lustig gestorben werden wird. Der Weg dahin ist für jeden sichtbar, aber machen tun wir trotzdem nichts, gilt ja auch Volksverhetzung mittlerweile als Meinungsfreiheit. Und die gilt es zu schützen, auch wenn Blut daran pappt.

Hood Dawah has been active now going on its second year and alhamdullilah we have been very successful in bringing the message of islam to those who feel trapped in the street life. Now we are at a crossroads, we want to take the dawah to the next level. Plan events, do programs in the low income communities, start big brother little brother programs, be able to support new muslims, and protect our youth from getting into this life of crime. We have already seen how deadly the street life could be, everyone has a loved one trapped in this life style. Salamu alaeikum. Jeg beder jer inshaallah fisabelillah om jeres hjælp og det er det mindste vi kan gøre. Tidligere idag blev en af vores søster her i Odense overfaldet af to ukendte mænd. Det skete i forbindelse med at hun havde været ude og give da'wah. Jeg beder jer derfor om at i inshaallah husker hende i jeres du'a. Ik vend det blinde øje til. Søsteren har mistet stortset alt hvad der var hende kært, for Allah swt skyld. Må Allah swt belønne hende stort, gør hende standhaftig og rodfæstet i denne deen, amen thumma amen.

One can hardly lead a Solaat without being conscious of the Jam'ah at his Back, meanwhile, we are supposed to zero our mind on Allah and focus him alone. One of the contemporary Nigerian Muslim scholar, Dr. Sharfudeen Raji (PHD, Islamic university of Medinah once said that, an Imam should Imagine all his followers in a Solaat as in animate objects! (Allahu Akbar). I pray Allah promote me to that level someday. I use to delay entering the Masjid many times to avoid being asked to Lead when our Imam is not around. Some times, I target the time when Iqomah would have been made and someone would have moved to the Mimbar, some times, I just go out to make another ablution very close to Iqomah. Out Naibul Imam(Assistant Imam) was in the habit of pushing me forward to lead and I keep rejecting until I pleaded with Him one day that He must lead in the absence of Imam. According to scholars, when we want to pray and we push someone to the front, our believe is that; He is better and more pious among us. It is really amazing how people sometimes fight or compete to lead solaat. I know that dodging the leading of Solaat is not the best thing I should be doing but I am not yet bold to lead prayers with assurance that I won't be thinking about people at the back occassionaly. I usually feel I am not the best and most pious to lead others. May Allah grant us understanding.

Just this humble statement alone corrects the Muslim's false supremacy and brings his argument for Islams point scoring crashing down. THE DISTURBING PART, but not at all suprising is how at 45:32 the MUSLIM BECOMES ANGRY after losing the argument and childishly and helplessly repeats that Allah states that no one will be able to pass the test (10 words 40 rhetorical meanings) in the Quran and then VIOLENTLY QUOTES that men (INFIDELS) AND STONES WILL BE FUEL FOR HELL FIRES. This is atypical of Muslims who cannot actually contemplate truth even when revealed in front of them and instead are programmed to repeat the Qurans contradictory statements until they are blue in the face. This test was proven as false in seconds yet he carries on for a whole hour! This repetitive denial of facts by the Muslim is due to one factor which is prevalent among all Muslims: ITS THE FEAR OF ALLAHS HELL FIRES which is so deep that logical criticism of the Quran is denied and what's left is a BRAINWASHED MUSLIM who would rather die than take a different view. IN FACT THE MUSLIM CLINGS TO HIS FALSE MIRACLES OF ISLAM SO TIGHTLY HE STATED HE WOULD RATHER HAVE SOMEONE SLIT HIS THROAT OR SHOOT HIM IN THE HEAD. How disturbing, but Muslim behaviour. Hence the Muslim never actually took in any points, but merely repeats the same already falsely proven argument, which he tries to justify with Muhammads prophecy of hell fire for all non believers questioning and refusing to submit to Islam. The Sikh quickly highlights that Sikhs disagree with this, but even still the video leaves me with one, but ever glaring and heart wrenching fact: Muslims will never change even if you prove their Qurans practices as false, because Muslims are just too brainwashed. Die muslimischen Hipster kommen?!
In den USA sorgt eine selbsternannte Subkultur für Aufsehen: Mipsterz definieren sich als muslimische Hipster und sorgen für Diskussionen. Auch in Deutschland drücken junge Muslime ihren Glauben neu aus. Eine wesentliche Rolle spielt dabei Mode
Sie sind schön, sie sind jung, die Kamera liebt sie. Ihr Outfit ist bis ins kleinste Detail durchdacht und passt in jede internationale Metropole: Sehr enge, auf der Hüfte sitzende Röhrenhosen, sehr flache Ballerinas kombiniert mit flatternden Oberteilen und plakativ bedruckten T-Shirts, große Ray Ban-Sonnenbrillen, Maxiröcke, riesige Ketten im Ethnolook, auch der zum Mode-Statement avancierte Schnurrbart-Button darf nicht fehlen. Sie brettern mit schwarzen High-Heels auf dem Skateboard durch die Straßen, sie posieren auf Feuerleitern und klettern Straßenlaternen hinauf, sie fahren Motorrad, sie lachen, tanzen und blicken selbstbewusst in die Kamera. Und sie alle tragen Kopftuch. Jede Protagonistin hat ihr Haar anders verdeckt: Im Gipsy-Look kombiniert mit riesigen Ohrringen, ausladend nach Art der Ägypterinnen oder als kleiner Turban mit Knoten auf dem Kopf. „Somewhere in America#Mipsterz" ist der Titel des kurzen Videos, das mit dem gleichnamigen Song des Rappers Jay-Z unterlegt ist und das seit Anfang Dezember von Youtube aus zu erhitzten Debatten in der echten und in der virtuellen Welt sorgt.
„Mipsterz" – so nennen sich die jungen Frauen vor und die Männer hinter der Kamera, Habib Yazdi und Abbas Rattani. Mipster, das steht für Muslim Hipsters. Ein Mipster, erklären die in den USA geborenen und aufgewachsenen Muslime Yazdi und Rattani, interessiert sich für die neueste Musik, Mode, Kunst und ist ein kritischer Denker. Inspirieren lässt sich der Mipster von der islamischen Tradition: Der Koran gilt ebenso als Inspirationsquelle wie die Geschichten der Propheten, die islamische Mystik und esoterische Imame, aber auch inspirierende Politiker und Mitmenschen. Der Mipster wünscht sich eine gerechte Gesellschaft jenseits von Klassendenken. Und genau wie beim Hipster spielt – zumindest in der Theorie – Ironie eine zentrale Rolle im Leben des Mipsters. Sie soll Selbstkritik und Kritik an der Gesellschaft ermöglichen und ausdrücken.
Ironie ist ein Teil des Selbstverständnisses
Ironie scheint eine der wenigen Eigenschaften zu sein, die der Mipster und sein okzidentales Pendant, der Hipster, tatsächlich teilen. Denn so sehr der Hipster darauf bedacht ist, mit jeder noch so kunstvoll, vermeintlich nachlässig zerstrubbelten Haarsträhne und dem neuesten Paar Vintage-Röhrenjeans der subkulturellen Uniform eine individuelle Note zu geben, so vermeidet er eines tunlichst: Sich selbst als Hipster zu bezeichnen. Denn das Weltbild des versessen den Mainstream negierenden Hornbrillenträgers würde durch das Eingeständnis einer Gruppenzugehörigkeit vermutlich ernste Risse bekommen. Bei den Mipsterz ist das ganz anders: Habib Yazdi und Abbas Rattani haben selbst den Begriff geschaffen, der nun in aller Munde ist.
Die Reaktionen auf das Mipster-Video sind gemischt: Die US-Journalistin Yasmine Hafiz, selbst Muslimin, ist begeistert: Der Islam brauche mehr solcher selbstbewussten jungen Frauen, so Hafiz. Für bedenklich hält sie lediglich die Welle der Kritik, die den Protagonistinnen und den Machern des Videos entgegenschlägt. Niemand habe das Recht, zu beurteilen, ob ein anderer „muslimisch genug" sei: „Ich bin eine muslimische Frau, und mein Auftreten und meine Sexualität sind einzig meine Angelegenheit", so Hafiz.
Die deutsche Journalistin und Bloggerin Kübra Gümüşay ist zwar nicht im selben Maße von dem Video begeistert wie ihre amerikanische Kollegin, stört sich aber ebenfalls am Ton der Kritik: „Wir Muslime sind nicht einheitlich, sondern vielfältig. Das ist unser Kapital, das macht uns einzigartig. Dies können wir aber nur demonstrieren, wenn wir aufhören, Kontrollfreaks zu sein". Abbas Rattani, Co-Produzent des Mipster-Videos, sieht das ganz ähnlich: „Es gibt keine Gruppe unter den Muslimen, die entscheiden kann, was islamisch ist und was nicht. Der Islam ist eine Frage der Interpretation, er gehört niemandem." Sein Kollege Habib Yazdi ergänzt: „Für viele Musliminnen ist das Tragen des Kopftuches eine persönliche Entscheidung. Also entscheiden sie auch individuell, wie sie es tragen. Das zeigt unser Video."
Kontrolle vor allem über die Frauen in dem umstrittenen Video vermissen offenbar viele männliche Kritiker. Sie stören sich an nahezu allem, was in dem Video zu sehen und zu hören ist: Von der Musikauswahl über die angeblich zu aufreizende Kleidung bis hin zu vermeintlich falsch gebundenen Kopftüchern – die Liste der Kritikpunkte ist lang. Die Protagonistinnen würden als „vulgäre und verwestlichte Puppen missbraucht", ihnen wird „Schamlosigkeit und Heuchelei" vorgeworfen, ihre Kleidung gleiche der von Prostituierten. Besonders hitzig wird über das T-Shirt einer der Frauen diskutiert, das mit einem Bild von Marylin Monroe bedruckt ist – eine Frau, „die für ihre Promiskuität, Verhältnisse mit verheirateten Männern und Drogenkonsum" bekannt sei. Die Anthropologin Souad Abdul Khabeer kritisiert, dass das Video vorgebe, die Vielseitigkeit muslimischer Frauen zu zeigen, aber lediglich eine amerikanisierte und kommerzialisierte Variante der Muslimin zu bieten habe. Produzent Habib Yazdi reagiert mit entwaffnender Klarheit auf diese Kritik: „Wir sind in vieler Hinsicht amerikanisch, genau wie die Ideen in unserem Video. Wir imitieren nichts, wir sind in den USA geboren und aufgewachsen". Abbas Rattani meint, dass hier eine Kluft zwischen dem Islam und dem Westen konstruiert wird: „Es gibt kein ‚wir' und ‚die'. Wir sind hier, im geographischen Westen, wir sind sichtbar, und wir leben zwei Kulturen."
Mipster sind sehr kontrovers. Sie lösen Debatten aus
Die leidenschaftliche Diskussion über die Mipsterz lässt erahnen, welche Fragen sich auch junge Musliminnen in Deutschland stellen, für die Kopftuch und Religiosität nicht zwangsläufig im Widerspruch zu ihrer Begeisterung für Mode stehen. Wie eng darf ein Oberteil sein, wie stark geschminkt die Augen, wie auffällig die Jeans, wie lässig gebunden das Kopftuch? Darf der Schleier ein modischer Hingucker sein oder verfehlt er dann seinen religiösen Sinn? Ganz eigene Antworten auf diese Fragen finden sogenannte Hijabistas – das muslimische Pendant zu den Fashionistas. Der Begriff, der 1993 in Stephen Fried's Roman „Thing of Beauty" auftauchte, bezeichnet heute modebegeisterte – bisweilen modebesessene – Frauen. Für viele muslimische Frauen ist das Kopftuch, auf Arabisch Hijab, ein wesentliches Element ihres Erscheinungsbildes. Die besonders modeverrückten unter ihnen, die Hijabistas, machen eben dieses Element zum Zentrum ihres Outfits, das auch alle anderen Kriterien islamkonformer Mode erfüllt: Arme und Beine sind stets bedeckt, ebenso das Dekolleté.
Alles andere aber interpretieren die Hijabistas so frei, modern und kreativ, wie es nur geht. Wie lässt sich der enge Rollkragenpullover von H&M mit einer Fellweste von Zara und einer auffälligen Kette am besten zum Boho-Stil kombinieren? Welche Farbtöne für Kopftuch und Maxirock passen zu den aktuellen Lederjacken im Vintagelook? Fragen wie diese beantwortet Sümeyye Coktan ihren mittlerweile über 340.000 Fans auf ihrer Facebook-Seite „Hijab is my Diamond". Fast täglich veröffentlicht sie hier Bilder von neuen Kombinationen und fragt ihre Fans, welche Accessoires sie besonders interessieren – mit gewaltiger Resonanz. Nicht nur Mode ist ein Spielfeld für junge Muslime in Deutschland: Sie machen Musik, sind kreativ und veranstalten „muslimische Poetry Slams".
Mipster-Erfinder Habib Yazdi ist trotz aller Kritik aus den eigenen Reihen zufrieden: „Wir freuen uns, dass wir etwas zu der Debatte darüber, wie Muslime dargestellt werden, beitragen können". Und auch Abbas Rattani zeigt sich erfreut: „Schön, wenn wir einige Leute inspirieren." So ganz können sich die Mipsterz die Ironie und Provokation im Spiel mit den Gruppenzugehörigkeiten auf ihrer Facebook-Seite dann aber doch nicht verkneifen: „Warte mal, sie hassen uns, weil wir Muslime sind? Ich dachte, sie hassen uns, weil wir Hipster sind!?"

Eine Studie des Wissenschaftszentrums Berlin stellt bei muslimischen Bürgern in vielen Ländern Westeuropas einen zunehmenden Fundamentalismus fest – kein gutes Zeichen für offene Gesellschaften.
In der Mediendemokratie hat jedes Thema seine Konjunktur. Was die Islam-Debatte betrifft, so bewegen sich die Wellen der Erregung zwischen zwei Extremen hin und her.
"Deutschland schafft sich ab", der Buchtitel des Bestsellers von Thilo Sarrazin, steht für die Angst, ein wachsender Anteil von antiwestlichen Muslimen könne irgendwann die Verhältnisse in Deutschland grundlegend verschieben.
Die Optimisten dagegen folgen dem Wort des früheren Bundespräsidenten Christian Wulff, "der Islam gehört zu Deutschland", im festen Glauben, auch die muslimischen Bürger würden irgendwann alle das freiheitlich-demokratische Gesellschaftsbild verinnerlichen.
Wie in den meisten Fällen liegt die Wahrheit in der Mitte. Aber es lohnt sich, längerfristige Trends im Auge zu behalten, die nicht immer Schlagzeilen machen. Davon handelt die jüngste Untersuchung zu Muslimen in Westeuropa, die die Abteilung Migration des Wissenschaftszentrums Berlin veröffentlicht hat.
65 Prozent finden Koran wichtiger als Gesetze
Die Studie spricht von einem Erstarken des Fundamentalismus unter muslimischen Bürgern, besonders in Frankreich, den Niederlanden, Belgien und Österreich, ebenso – wenn auch in geringerem Maße – in Deutschland und Schweden.
Demnach sagen 65 Prozent der befragten Muslime, religiöse Regeln seien wichtiger als weltliche Gesetze, 75 Prozent meinen, es könne nur eine Auslegung des Koran geben.
Besonders aussagekräftig wird die Studie dadurch, dass auch einer Vergleichsgruppe von Christen dieselben Fragen gestellt wurden – auch dort gibt es ja Fundamentalismus.
Hier fanden allerdings nur 13 Prozent religiöse Regeln wichtiger als weltliche, und 17 Prozent meinten, es gebe nur eine wahre Bibel-Auslegung. Demnach wäre der Fundamentalismus im islamischen Milieu mehr als viermal so groß.
Die Daten eignen sich nicht für einfache Schlussfolgerungen. Aber es bleibt die Erkenntnis: Auch jenseits der Nachrichtenkonjunkturen müssen Demokratien jene im Auge behalten, die glauben, die offene Gesellschaft sei etwas, das es zu überwinden gelte.

Hollywoodstars satt, europäische Klasseschauspieler in Filmen mit Tiefgang, mit Humor oder auch mit jeder Menge Action. Dazu schräge Komik, Animation, Bestseller-Verfilmungen und Streifen, an denen sich Kritik und Zuschauergunst scheiden. Was für ein Filmjahr.
„Muslime aller Länder vereinigt Euch!" Heute schreibe ich ausnahmsweise nur an meine muslimischen Freunde. Die muslimische Welt ist zurzeit Opfer einer gefährlichen Strategie einiger Politiker des Westens. Sie lautet: „Divide et impera" – „Teile und herrsche!" Sie funktioniert, weil einige Muslime törichterweise begeistert mitmachen. Saudi-Arabien macht mobil gegen Iran (und umgekehrt), und Sunniten und Alawiten bekämpfen sich in Syrien bis aufs Blut. Auch in anderen muslimischen Ländern kracht es zunehmend zwischen den einzelnen Glaubensrichtungen. Die Feinde der Muslime im Westen freuen sich diebisch, dass sich die Muslime jetzt gegenseitig umbringen. Das erspart ihnen viel Mühe und Arbeit. Das augenblickliche Schauspiel erinnert erschreckend an die Zeit des „Dreißigjährigen Krieges", als sich Deutschland im Kampf des Protestantismus gegen den Katholizismus selbst zerstörte. Deutschlands Nachbarn mischten dabei kräftig mit. Unser Land brauchte hundert Jahre, um sich von den unvorstellbaren Verwüstungen wieder zu erholen. Wenn ich in ein muslimisches Land reise, gibt es für mich keine Sunniten, Schiiten, Alawiten, Ismaeliten, Wahabiten oder Salafisten. Für mich sind sie alle Angehörige einer großen Religion, die ich respektiere und in vielem bewundere: Für die großen kulturellen Leistungen ihrer Geschichte, die auch die westliche Zivilisation jahrhundertelang bereichert haben. Und für ihre wunderbare Gastfreundschaft und Herzlichkeit, mit der sie friedliche Fremde auch in schweren Zeiten empfangen. Dass sie sich auf westliches Kommando zunehmend bekriegen, macht mich todtraurig. Die Zukunft der muslimischen und der arabischen Welt liegt nicht im Streit, sondern in der Einigkeit. In einem neuen Verständnis panislamischer und panarabischer Ideen. Die USA sind stark, weil sie die "Vereinigten" Staaten von Amerika sind. Und Europa, weil es endlich eine "Union" ist. Nachdem es sich in zwei Weltkriegen gegenseitig so zertrümmert hatte, dass die USA Europas Führungsrolle in der Welt übernehmen konnten. In der Welt der Zukunft werden die arabischen und islamischen Länder nur dann eine angemessene Rolle spielen, wenn sie sich nicht länger auseinander dividieren lassen. Wenn sie enger zusammenarbeiten. Wirtschaftlich, kulturell, politisch und religiös. Wenn sie sich als Freunde, als Verbündete betrachten und nicht als Feinde. Wenn sie wieder das Gemeinsame ihrer Religion betonen und nicht das Trennende. Wenn alle muslimischen Glaubensrichtungen tolerant zueinander sind. "Kämpferisch tolerant", engagiert, aber gewaltlos. Das gilt selbstverständlich auch für die Muslime der westlichen Welt. Ich glaube, dass Prophet Mohammed ähnlich gedacht hat. Und dass er erwartet hätte, dass die unterschiedlichen islamischen Glaubensrichtungen unserer Zeit enger zusammenarbeiten. Er hätte das wahrscheinlich viel drastischer formuliert als ich. Das gilt auch für den Konflikt Saudi-Arabien mit Iran. Wenn einer amerikanisch-iranischen Aussöhnung jetzt eine strategische Partnerschaft zwischen dem sunnitischen Saudi-Arabien und dem schiitischen Iran folgen würde, wäre dies ein historischer Durchbruch für die gesamte islamische Welt. Der Streit zwischen diesen beiden Regionalmächten ist völlig kontraproduktiv. Das Erfolgsrezept des Islam, der am schnellsten wachsenden Religion unserer Zeit, heißt nicht: „Muslime aller Länder bringt Euch gegenseitig um", sondern: „Muslime aller Länder vereinigt Euch." Currently, the Muslim world is falling victim to a dangerous strategy developed by some politicians in the West. The essence of this policy reads in Latin, as follows: "divide et impera" - "Divide and Rule". And today it does work, because some Muslims do fall for it enthusiastically and foolishly. Saudi Arabia and Qatar are mobilizing against Iran (and vice versa) and the Sunnis and the Alawites in Syria are fighting against each other to the death. In other Muslim countries, the relations between the individual faiths are becoming more and more tense. The enemies of Muslims in the West are taking huge pleasure in the fact that Muslims do kill each other now; this does save them a lot of effort and work. The current and extremely appalling spectacle brings to one's mind the time of the Thirty Years' War, when Germany totally destroyed itself in its battle of Protestantism against Catholicism; and beware, Germany's neighbors were heavily involved in that war. Our country needed a century to recover from the unimaginable devastations. When I travel to a Muslim country, I do not see Sunnis, Shiites, Alawites, Ismailis, Wahabis or Salafis. To me, they are all members of a great religion. I respect and do admire them in many aspects for the great cultural achievements in their history, which immensely enriched the western civilization. And I admire them for their wonderful hospitality and warmth with which they do welcome peaceful strangers even in difficult times. The very fact that they increasingly fight against each other on western command (!) deeply saddens me. The future of the Muslim and Arab world does not lie in dispute, but in its unity, in a new interpretation of the pan-Islamic and the pan-Arab ideas. The United States are strong because they are the United States of America, and Europe, because there is finally a "Union", after Europe had demolished itself in two world wars so that the U.S. could realize her old dream to take over Europe's role and become herself the world's number one power. Arab and Islamic countries will only play an appropriate role in the world-to-be, if they do not allow themselves to be divided. if they cooperate more closely, economically, culturally and politically. If they look at each other as friends, as allies rather than enemies. If they emphasize the common ground of their religion and not the dividing rifts. If all Muslim denominations are tolerant towards each other. Yes, "spiritedly tolerant", and yes passionately tolerant, but at the same time non-violent! This also applies to the Muslims in the western world. I believe that Prophet Muhammad must have thought similarly and that he would have expected the various Islamic denominations of our time to work together more closely. I assume he would have formulated this in a much more drastic manner than I do. This also applies to the conflict between Iran and Saudi Arabia. If a strategic partnership between Sunni Saudi Arabia and Shiite Iran would ensue in the context of the US-Iranian reconciliation, then this would be a historical breakthrough for the entire Islamic world. The dispute between these two regional powers is completely counterproductive. The recipe of success for Islam, the fastest growing religion of our time is not to say: "Muslims of all countries: Go on and kill each other" but "Muslims of the world: Unite!" Die letzte Predigt des Propheten Muhammad: Eine abschließende Ermahnung Der geliebte Prophet Muhammad, möge Gott ihn loben und segnen, wurde etwa 570 nChr. in Mekka, Saudi Arabien, geboren. Er ist ein Vorbild für die gesamte Menschheit. Er war durchweg ein bemerkenswerter Mann. Er zeichnete sich in allen Lebenslagen aus: als Prophet, Gesetzgeber, Philosoph, Redner, Kämpfer, Ehemann, Freund, Vater, Onkel, Neffe und Großvater. Er war ein Mann der Liebe, Geduld, Tapferkeit, Weisheit, Großzügigkeit, Intelligenz und Größe, der Millionen von Leben auf der ganzen Welt inspiriert hat. Gott sagt im Qur´an, dass er als Gnade für die Menschen der Welt gesandt worden war. "Wir entsandten dich nur aus Barmherzigkeit für alle Welten." (Quran 21:107) Seine Mission als Prophet begann im Alter von vierzig Jahren, ungefähr 610 nChr. Und dauerte bis 632 nChr. Vom Pfad der Unwissenheit wurde die Menschheit auf den geraden Weg geführt und mit der Rechtleitung Gottes gesegnet. Kurz vor seinem Tod hielt Muhammad während des Hağğ eine Rede, die als "Abschiedspredigt" bekannt geworden ist. Diese Abschiedspredigt war nicht nur eine Erinnerung für seine Anhänger, sondern auch eine wichtige Ermahnung. Die Abschiedspredigt kennzeichnet das Ende seiner Mission als Prophet. Das Jahr 10 a.H. des islamischen Kalenders wird aus drei Gründen für eines der bedeutungsvollsten Jahre gehalten. Erstens: es war das Jahr, in dem der Prophet seine letzte Predigt während seiner Abschiedspilgerfahrt nach Mekka hielt. Zweitens: es war das Jahr, als eine Zahl von Abordnungen den Propheten aufsuchten, um ihm ihre Aufwartungen zu machen oder um Frieden mit den Muslimen zu schließen. Drittens: es war das "goldene Jahr" in dem eine Vielzahl von Menschen den islamischen Glauben annahm und die Botschaft des Propheten akzeptierte. Der Prophet Muhammad unternahm seine Abschiedspilgerfahrt im Jahr 10 a.H. Diese Abschiedspilgerfahrt nach Mekka hat sich in den Köpfen der Muslime als eines der bedeutungsvollsten historischen Ereignisse eingeprägt, denn es war die erste und letzte Pilgerfahrt des Propheten Muhammad, wodurch sie auch als Beispiel für die Verrichtung der fünften Säule des Islam, den Hağğ, dient. Die letzte Predigt des Propheten Muhammad wurde während des Hağğ im Jahr 632 nChr gehalten, dem neunten Tag des Dhul-Hiğğah, dem zwölften Monat des Mondmonats, an Arafat, dem gesegnetsten Tag des Jahres. Es waren zahllose Muslime anwesend, als der Prophet auf seiner letzten Pilgerreise seine Abschiedspredigt hielt. Die Abschiedspredigt: Nachdem er Gott gelobt und gepriesen hatte, sagte der Prophet, möge Gott ihn loben: "O ihr Menschen, leiht mit ein aufmerksames Ohr, denn ich weiß nicht, ob ich nach diesem Jahr wieder unter euch sein werde. Deshalb hört dem, was ich euch sagen werde, bedachtsam zu und berichtet diese Worte jenen, die heute nicht hier anwesend sind. O ihr Menschen, genau wie ihr diesen Monat, diesen Tag, diese Stadt als heilig betrachtet, so betrachtet auch das Leben und den Besitz eines jeden Muslim als ein heiliges, anvertrautes Gut. Gebt die Güter, die euch anvertraut wurden, ihren rechtmäßigen Eigentümern zurück. Schadet niemandem, damit euch niemand Schaden zufügen möge. Haltet euch stets vor Augen, dass ihr eurem Herrn begegnen werdet und dass Er gewiss eure Taten berechnen wird. Gott hat euch verboten, dass ihr Zinsen nehmt, daher sollen jegliche Verpflichtungen aus Zinsgeschäften nunmehr erlassen werden. Euer Kapital steht euch allerdings zu. Ihr sollt weder Ungerechtigkeit zufügen noch erleiden. Gott hat entschieden, dass es keine Wuchergeschäfte geben soll und somit sollen alle Zinsen die Abbas ibn Abd´al Muttalib zustehen, erlassen sein... Nehmt euch vor dem Satan in acht – für die Sicherheit eurer Religion. Er hat alle Hoffnung aufgegeben, dass er jemals in der Lage sein wird, euch in großen Dingen irrezuführen, also hütet euch davor, ihn in Kleinigkeiten zu folgen. O ihr Menschen, es ist wahr, dass ihr bestimmte Rechte in bezug auf eure Frauen besitzt, aber sie besitzen auch Rechte an euch. Bedenkt doch, dass ihr sie von Gott als Anvertrautes und mit Seiner Erlaubnis genommen habt. Wenn sie bei euch bleiben und euch euer Recht gewähren, dann ist es ihr Recht, dass ihr sie in Güte versorgt und bekleidet. Behandelt eure Frauen gut und seid liebenswürdig zu ihnen, denn sie sind eure Partner und an euch gebunden. Und es steht euch zu, dass sie sich mit niemandem befreunden, den ihr nicht billigt und dass sie sich nicht unzüchtig verhalten. O ihr Menschen, hört mir ernsthaft zu, betet Gott an, verrichtet eure fünf täglichen Gebete, fastet im Monat Ramadhan und spendet Zakat aus eurem Vermögen. Verrichtet Hağğ, wenn ihr dazu die Mittel besitzt. Die gesamte Menschheit stammt von Adam und Eva. Ein Araber hat weder einen Vorrang vor einem Nicht-Araber, noch hat ein Nicht-Araber einen Vorrang vor einem Araber; Weiß hat keinen Vorrang vor Schwarz, noch hat Schwarz irgendeinen Vorrang vor Weiß; [nimand ist einem anderen überlegen] außer in der Gottesfurcht und in guter Tat. Lernt, dass jeder Muslim der Bruder eines jeden Muslim ist und dass die Muslime eine Bruderschaft darstellen. Nichts soll einem Muslim erlaubt sein, das einem muslimischen Bruder gehört, es sei denn, er gibt es ihm aus freiem Willen. Deshalb tut euch selbst kein Unrecht an. Bedenkt, eines Tages werdet ihr vor Gott erscheinen und nach euren Taten befragt werden. Also hütet euch, verlasst den Weg der Rechtschaffenheit nicht, wenn ich von euch gegangen bin. O ihr Menschen, nach mir wird kein Prophet oder Gesandter mehr kommen, und es wird kein neuer Glaube mehr geboren werden. Überlegt daher vernünftig, o ihr Menschen, und versteht die Worte richtig, die ich euch mitteile. Ich werde nach mir zwei Dinge hinterlassen: den Qur´an und mein Beispiel, die Sunnah, und wenn ihr diesen folgt, dann werdet ihr nie irregehen.

Realiseer dit... Allah subhana wa ta'la zegt: "...En hij die de Taghut verwerpt en in Allah gelooft; hij heeft zeker het stevigste houvast gegrepen, dat niet breken kan. En Allah is Alhorend, Alwetend." (Surah al-Baqarah 2:256) De betekenis van het stevige houvast in deze vers; is de Islam die Allah heeft bevolen en waar Hij tevreden mee is. Deze vers maakt ons duidelijk; dat een persoon niet in staat is om het stevigste houvast te pakken (wat de Islam is) door slechts het geloof in Allah alléén, maar Zijn geloof zou moeten bestaan uit het verwerpen en verloochenen van de Thaghut (valse goden) in al zijn vormen en typen. Als hij dit niet doet en in Allah gelooft zonder dat hij ongelovig is in de Taghut, dan brengt dit geloof hem geen enkel voordeel. Allah subhana wa ta'Ala zal dit niet van hem accepteren en op de Dag des Oordeels heeft hij geen gewicht op de schaal van Allah. Daarom is volgens deze vers; zonder ongeloof in de Taghut is het onmogelijk dat er Islaam of Imaan is die Allah accepteert. Allah subhana wa ta'Ala heeft TWEE voorwaarden aan de correcte Islam verbonden die gerealiseerd dienen te worden. Deze twee voorwaarden zijn: VERWERPEN VAN DE TAGHUT EN HET GELOOF IN ALLAH. Als één van deze twee voorwaarden afwezig zijn, dan zal de Imaan en Islam incorrect en ongeldig zijn. Er is geen twijfel aan dat degene die de Thaghut (mv Tawaghit) niet in al zijn vormen en kleuren kent, niet het vermogen bezit om deze te verwerpen en te verloochenen, ongeacht of hij dit vaak heeft beweerd. Zijn bewering is als de bewering van iemand die beweerd iets te verwerpen zonder dat hij weet wat hij moet verwerpen. Dit is niet het soort verloochening of ongeloof dat deze Qoran vers van ons vereist. Net zo: iemand die niet weet wat Imaan is; bezit geen Imaan, daarom is zijn bewering van Imaan ongeldig en nutteloos. (Bron: het boek 'De Ware Moslim' door D.Diyaaud-deen Al-Qudsee )

Setiap ukiran berbentuk makhluk hidup misalnya manusia dan haiwan yang dimuliakan adalah berhala. Contohnya ukiran @ patung yang dibuat hiasan di dalam rumah, pejabat, kereta atau mana2 tempat berskala besar mahupun kecil. Jadi, berhati-hatilah dalam menghiaskan tempat dan juga bertujuan untuk bergambar2 bagai. Jangan dimuliakan sebarang taghut. ( Pesanan ikhlas dari seorang murabbi. )

Jika Anda menuangkan air ke dalam bejana kosong, sudah pasti Anda pun akan memperoleh air dari bejana tersebut. Tidak masuk akal jika Anda akan memperoleh susu, madu, atau benda cair lainnya, selain apa yang Anda tuangkan ke dalam bejana tersebut. Apa yang berlaku pada bejana itu, berlaku pula pada manusia. Jika ia memasukkan di dalam hatinya hal-hal yang bertalian dengan dunia, maka yang akan keluar akan seperti itu juga. Pintu-pintu masuk pada diri manusia, berupa anggota tubuhnya sendiri. Seperti lidah, telinga, mata, telapak kaki, tangan, dan lainnya. Jika ia masukkan melalui lisan berupa bacaan-bacaan al-Qur'an, zikir, dan amar makruf nahi munkar, melalui telinga berupa bacaan al-Qur'an, belajar ilmu dan nasihat; melalui mata berupa perenungan ciptaan Allah, interaksi terhadap al-Qur'an dan hadis-hadis Rasulullah saw., serta menahannya dari hal-hal yang dimurkainya; melalui telapak kaki berupa pergi ke rumah-rumah Allah, majelis ilmu, kuburan, rumah sakit, silaturahim, dan berbagai medan dakwah ilallah; dan melalui tangan berupa membantu orang yang membutuhkan, menulis ilmu, menolak para pelaku maksiat taghut; maka semua hal tersebut masuk dalam hatinya melalui pintu-pintu tersebut. Lalu ia keluarkan dalam bentuk perilaku, tutur kata, perasaan, tindakan, keputusan, buah pikiran, produktivitas, usulan, gerakan, dan ungkapan kata-kata yang disarikan dari wahyuyang diwarnai sikap ramah, sopan, bersemangat, tenang, khusyuk, dan sabar. Semua hal itu akan mempengaruhi ucapan dan perkataannya.

The Holy Quran: Surah Az-Zumar (The Groups) In the name of ALLAH, The Beneficent, The Merciful 1. The revelation of this Book (the Qur'an) is from Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. 2. Verily, We have sent down the Book to you (O Muhammad ) in truth: So worship Allah (Alone) by doing religious deeds sincerely for Allah's sake only, (and not to show-off, and not to set up rivals with Him in worship). 3. Surely, the religion (i.e. the worship and the obedience) is for Allah only. And those who take Auliya' (protectors and helpers) besides Him (say): "We worship them only that they may bring us near to Allah." Verily, Allah will judge between them concerning that wherein they differ. Truly, Allah guides not him who is a liar, and a disbeliever. 4. Had Allah willed to take a son (or offspring or children), He could have chosen whom He pleased out of those whom He created. But glory be to Him! (He is above such things). He is Allah, the One, the Irresistible. 5. He has created the heavens and the earth with truth. He makes the night to go in the day and makes the day to go in the night. And He has subjected the sun and the moon. Each running (on a fixed course) for an appointed term. Verily, He is the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving. 6. He created you (all) from a single person (Adam); then made from him his wife [Hawwa' (Eve)]. And He has sent down for you of cattle eight pairs (of the sheep, two, male and female; of the goats, two, male and female; of the oxen, two, male and female; and of the camels, two, male and female). He creates you in the wombs of your mothers, creation after creation in three veils of darkness, such is Allah your Lord. His is the kingdom, La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He). How then are you turned away? 7. If you disbelieve, then verily, Allah is not in need of you, He likes not disbelief for His slaves. And if you are grateful (by being believers), He is pleased therewith for you. No bearer of burdens shall bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return, so He will inform you what you used to do. Verily, He is the All-Knower of that which is in (men's) breasts. 8. And when some hurt touches man, he cries to his Lord (Allah Alone), turning to Him in repentance, but when He bestows a favour upon him from Himself, he forgets that for which he cried for before, and he sets up rivals to Allah, in order to mislead others from His Path. Say: "Take pleasure in your disbelief for a while: surely, you are (one) of the dwellers of the Fire!" 9. Is one who is obedient to Allah, prostrating himself or standing (in prayer) during the hours of the night, fearing the Hereafter and hoping for the Mercy of his Lord (like one who disbelieves)? Say: "Are those who know equal to those who know not?" It is only men of understanding who will remember (i.e. get a lesson from Allah's Signs and Verses). 10. Say (O Muhammad ): "O My slaves who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), be afraid of your Lord (Allah) and keep your duty to Him. Good is (the reward) for those who do good in this world, and Allah's earth is spacious (so if you cannot worship Allah at a place, then go to another)! Only those who are patient shall receive their rewards in full, without reckoning." 11. Say (O Muhammad ): "Verily, I am commanded to worship Allah (Alone) by obeying Him and doing religious deeds sincerely for Allah's sake only and not to show off, and not to set up rivals with Him in worship; 12. "And I am commanded (this) in order that I may be the first of those who submit themselves to Allah (in Islam) as Muslims." 13. Say (O Muhammad ): "Verily, if I disobey my Lord, I am afraid of the torment of a great Day." 14. Say (O Muhammad ) "Allah Alone I worship by doing religious deeds sincerely for His sake only and not to show-off, and not to set up rivals with Him in worship." 15. So worship what you like besides Him. Say (O Muhammad ): "The losers are those who will lose themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection. Verily, that will be a manifest loss!" 16. They shall have coverings of Fire, above them and covering (of Fire) beneath them; with this Allah does frighten His slaves: "O My slaves, therefore fear Me!" 17. Those who avoid At-Taghut (false deities) by not worshipping them and turn to Allah in repentance, for them are glad tidings; so announce the good news to My slaves, 18. Those who listen to the Word [good advice La ilaha ill-Allah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah) and Islamic Monotheism, etc.] and follow the best thereof (i.e. worship Allah Alone, repent to Him and avoid Taghut, etc.) those are (the ones) whom Allah has guided and those are men of understanding (like Zaid bin 'Amr bin Nufail, Salman Al-Farisi and Abu Dhar Al-Ghifari). [Tafsir Al-Qurtubi, Vol. 12, P. 244] 19. Is, then one against whom the Word of punishment justified (equal to the one who avoids evil). Will you (O Muhammad ) rescue him who is in the Fire? 20. But those who fear Allah and keep their duty to their Lord (Allah), for them are built lofty rooms; one above another under which rivers flow (i.e. Paradise). (This is) the Promise of Allah: and Allah does not fail in (His) Promise. 21. See you not, that Allah sends down water (rain) from the sky, and causes it to penetrate the earth, (and then makes it to spring up) as water-springs and afterward thereby produces crops of different colours, and afterward they wither and you see them turn yellow, then He makes them dry and broken pieces. Verily, in this, is a Reminder for men of understanding. 22. Is he whose breast Allah has opened to Islam, so that he is in light from His Lord (as he who is non-Muslim)? So, woe to those whose hearts are hardened against remembrance of Allah! They are in plain error! 23. Allah has sent down the best statement, a Book (this Qur'an), its parts resembling each other in goodness and truth, oft-repeated. The skins of those who fear their Lord shiver from it (when they recite it or hear it). Then their skin and their heart soften to the remembrance of Allah. That is the guidance of Allah. He Guides therewith whom He pleases and whomever Allah sends astray, for him there is no guide. 24. Is he then, who will confront with his face the awful torment on the Day of Resurrection (as he who enters peacefully in Paradise)? And it will be said to the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.): "Taste what you used to earn!" 25. Those before them belied, and so the torment came on them from directions they perceived not. 26. So Allah made them to taste the disgrace in the present life, but greater is the torment of the Hereafter if they only knew! 27. And indeed We have put forth for men, in this Qur'an every kind of similitude in order that they may remember. 28. An Arabic Qur'an, without any crookedness (therein) in order that they may avoid all evil which Allah has ordered them to avoid, fear Him and keep their duty to Him. 29. Allah puts forth a similitude: a (slave) man belonging to many partners (like those who worship others along with Allah) disputing with one another, and a (slave) man belonging entirely to one master, (like those who worship Allah Alone). Are those two equal in comparison? All the praises and thanks be to Allah! But most of them know not. 30.
