    Wollt ihr euren Anteil nicht?

    Abu Huraira – Allahs Wohlgefallen auf ihm – ging einmal in Madinah beim Markt vorbei. Er blieb stehen und sagte: „O Leute des Marktes, wie unfähig ihr doch seid!"
    Sie sagten: „Und wieso Abu Huraira?"
    Er antwortete: „Dort drüben wird das Erbe des Gesandten Allahs – Friede und Segen auf ihn – verteilt, und ihr seid hier! Wollt ihr nicht hingehen und euren Anteil nehmen?"
    „Wo ist es?", fragten sie.
    Er antwortete, „in der Masjid".
    Also eilten sie zur Masjid, und Abu Huraira wartete auf sie, bis sie zurückkamen.
    Als sie zurückkehrten, sagte er: „Was ist los?"
    Sie antworteten: „Abu Huraira! Wir sind zur Masjid gegangen, aber wir sahen nicht, dass dort etwas verteilt wurde."
    Abu Huraira fragte sie: „Und habt ihr niemanden dort gesehen?"
    Sie sagten: „Doch haben wir; wir haben Menschen beten gesehen, andere rezitierten den Qur'an, und wiederum andere studierten die Regeln von halal und haram.
    Da sagte Abu Huraira: „Wehe euch! Das ist das Erbe von Muhammad – Friede und Segen auf ihn."
