In einer Ehe kommen immer zwei ganz unterschiedliche Menschen unterschiedlichen Geschlechts aus unterschiedlichen Bereichen, Lebenswelten und unterschiedlichen Familien zusammen. Was hält sie zusammen? Was macht aus diesen ein haltbares, stabiles Miteinander? - Liebe und Rahma, d.h. Barmherzigkeit, ein göttliches Attribut. Das wichtigste Bindekitt einer ehelichen Beziehung. Ein Franzose – jaja die wissens doch – hat etwa einen weisen Spruch zur Liebe formuliert: Liebe ist nicht, sich ständig anzusehen, sondern gemeinsam in dieselbe Richtung zu blicken. (Antoine de St. Exupéry) Das ist gar nicht so unbedeutend. Viele Partnerschaften würden womöglich besser funktionieren, wenn sie sich danach richten würden. Das heißt, anstatt sich gegenseitig auf die Pelle zu rücken, kann man sich nützliche gemeinsame Ziele setzen und gemeinsam daran arbeiten. Das schweißt zusammen. Aber auch andere scheinbar irrelevante Dinge helfen. Eine Portion Gelassenheit, viel Humor und Spaß miteinander können etwa das gemeinsame Leben mächtig erleichtern und verschönern.
