The media has been extensively discussing how racism still exists in the world of football - something I have difficulty understanding. The way the media portrays it, is like these racist people are only racist whilst they are watching a match and somehow are no longer racist when the match ends. But in reality, these same fans are people that live in this society, they have jobs, they go shopping, they do everything else like we do, and yes, they remain racist in whatever they do, their racism isn't exclusive to them being footy fans! They are products of society, not football I'm sure. What are your views on this? Do you think the colonialist minds have really accepted that they cannot judge people based on colour? And most importantly why are they the ones to decide how to judge?
