Zahir, ein bedürftiger, behinderter und alter Beduine, verkaufte einst seine Waren auf dem Markt. Der Prophet (Frieden und Segen auf ihn) wollte ihn überraschen und legte seine Arme um ihn. Zahir (Allahs Wohlgefallen auf ihm) drehte sich hin und her um herauszufinden wer ihn umarmt. Sobald er sah, dass es der Prophet (Frieden und Segen auf ihm) war, stand er still und umarmte ihn. Der Prophet (Frieden ud Segen auf ihm) rief im Markt aus Spass den vorbeigehenden: "Wer will diesen Mann kaufen?" Lachend und immernoch in den Armen des Propheten, erwiderte Zahir: "Ich kann nichts anbieten, niemals würde mich jemand kaufen (aufgrund seines Alters und seiner Behinderung).
