Ein Mann begleitete einmal Jesus [Friede sei auf ihm], und er sagte zu ihm:,,Ich möchte mit dir sein und ich möchte einer dein Gefährten sein." So gingen sie weiter und erreichten das Ufer eines Flusses, wo sie sich hinsetzten um zu essen. Sie hatten drei Brote dabei. Sie aßen zwei davon und der dritte blieb übrig. Dann stand Jesus auf um am Fluss trinken zu gehen. Als er zurück kam fand er vor, dass das dritte Brot nicht mehr da war, so fragte er den Mann:,,Wer hat das Brot genommen?" Der Mann antwortete:,,Ich weiß es nicht." Jesus ging mit dem Mann weiter, und fand ein Reh mit zwei Jungtieren vor. Jesus rief nach einem von beidem und es kam zu ihm. Er schlachtete es dann und briet einen Teil davon und aß es mit seinem Gefährten auf. Dann sagte er zu dem Jungtier:,,Stehe auf, mit Allāhs Erlaubnis. " Das Jungtier stand auf und ging fort. Jesus drehte sich dann zu seinem Gefährten und sagte:,, Ich frage dich bei dem Namen dessen, der dir dieses Wunder gezeigt hat, wer hat das Brot genommen?" ,,Ich weiß es nicht." Erwiderte der Mann. Dann kamen sie an einer Wüste vorbei in der es kein Wasser gab und setzten sich hin. Jesus nahm etwas Erde und Sand in seine Hände und sagte:,,Werde zu Gold, mit Allāhs Erlaubnis." Und es wurde so. Jesus teilte das Gold in 3 Portionen und sagte:,,Ein Drittel für mich, ein Drittel für dich und ein Drittel für den der das Brot genommen hat." Der Mann sagte:,, Ich war es, der das Brot nahm." Jesus erwiderte:,,Das Gold gehört alles dir." Jesus verließ ihn dann und zwei Männer kamen zu ihm [dem Begleiter Jesus] in der Wüste und wollten sein Gold stehlen und ihn töten. Er sagte zu ihnen:,,Lasst uns doch das Gold in drei teile aufteilen, und wir schicken einen von euch in die Stadt damit er uns was zu essen kauft. Einer von ihnen wurde geschickt doch auf dem weg dahin dachte er sich selbst: ,,Warum soll ich das Gold mit den beiden aufteilen? Ich sollte besser das Essen vergiften und das Gold für mich alleine behalten." Er ging und tat es auch. Während er weg war, haben auch die beiden einem Plan geschmiedet und sagten zu einander:,, Warum sollen wir ihm ein Drittel von dem Gold geben? Lass uns ihn stattdessen töten und das Gold nur unter uns beiden aufteilen." Als er zurück kam, töteten sie ihn und aßen die Nahrung die er mitbrachte und starben. Das Gold blieb in der Wüste mit den drei Männern tot daneben liegend. Jesus ging vorbei und fand sie in dieser Lage vor. Er sagte zu seinen Gefährten:,,Das ist die Dunyā [Welt] seid auf der Hut vor ihr."
