(Abu Dawud) Ibn Qayyim, Allahs Wohlgefallen auf ihm, sagte: „Es ist dem Muslim gemäß dem Konsens der Gelehrten, deren Wort gewichtig ist, nicht erlaubt, an den Festen der Götzendiener teilzunehmen und sie zu beglückwünschen. Die Gelehrten, die den vier Rechtsschulen folgen, haben dies deutlich in ihren Büchern bestätigt."
